Advantages: Lots Of Bubbles, Great Scent And Soft Skin

Disadvantages: None For Me

* It says on the listing that this product is a shower cream but on the bottle it states that its a bath cream and for the purpose of the review its a bath cream *

Its new bubble bath time again, no really I work too much and don't get out enough so I do usually get excited about a new bath foam and with Christmas seemingly round the corner I am trying to look after the pennies so when I saw this one on sale at asda for just 0.75p I though that I would have to give it ago.
I am familiar with the Imperial Leather brand and remember using this as a child in the bath, I actually remember using this at my grandparents house and my grandma used to let me get in the bath with lots of socks and I used to wash them with the soap ( Happy Days, I used to love it)

======= The Bath foam======

The bath foam comes in a plastic bottle with a slightly wavy shape and you can see the colour of the liquid inside which in this case is a lovely rich burgundy shade.

The name of the foam is "Precious" and states on the bottle that it is a mix of "Night blooming jasmine and cotton milk"

It also claims to be divinely smooth and well that all just sounded wonderful to me, Jasmine that only blooms at night! No ordinary day blooming variety for me, well I am "Precious " you know.

====== Using The Bath Foam ======

Perhaps its just me and I hope not but I always take the lid off and have a good sniff before I buy a bath foam and this one appealed to me straight away. I have to be honest and say that I stink (Pun intended) at describing smells and that's why you will never see a perfume review from me but the main scent of the jasmine was full and round bodied but not overpowering thanks to the cotton scent that also comes though.

When I ran the bath and poured the foam into the hot water I noticed that the scent really did fill the bathroom and the bubbles were already foaming up nicely into my bath, I was also surprised that I really did only need a capful to get a bath full of lovely big bubbles.

When I stepped into the bath I noticed that the bath water seemed really soft and didn't have a slightly harsh feel to it that my water can sometimes and I do think that that was down to the bath foam and it really did feel like I was soaking in a luxurious foam rather than a big bottle costing 75p!

The bubbles in the bath did start to fade a little and became smaller but lets be honest that happens even with the most expensive bath foam but they were there long enough and even when I got out there was still plenty of bubbles left. And my water stayed soft for the whole length of my bath now I am not saying that if you live in a hard water area this will make your water soft but it did definitely improve mine.

When I got out of the bath I was pleased that my skin was lovely and smooth and the foam had not irritated my skin at all as some foams can do and it certainly did not dry it out.

The scent did linger for a long-time while I was in the bath and as is the case with some scents when you get used to it you do stop noticing it however once I was out of the bath and then popped back into the bathroom the scent was still there and stayed in the bathroom for the rest of the night and gave it a lovely subtle fragrance.

====== Would I recommend it? =====

I would recommend it and I will also buy it again even at full price which is about £ 2.00 as for 500ml I still think that it's a great buy as I got everything out of it that I wanted and needed, Lovely bubbles and a lovely scent and a bonus was the lovely softness of my bath water.
It is a limited edition so I don't know how long it will be around for so get it while you can at the bargain price of 75p!
