Advantages: Leaves skin soft, nice smell

Disadvantages: RRP is too dear for me

PACKAGING
This comes in a curvy clear plastic bottle with a dark pinkish coloured lid and gold lettering on the front, along with the traditional Imperial Leather logo. The bottle says that starflower moisturises, while pomegranate keeps skin soft

APPEARANCE AND SMELL
The shower gel is a dusky pink colour, and is dotted with small beads that contain jojoba oil. When smelling this from the bottle, I immediately could smell the pomegranate. I loved the fruity smell, but once I started using this, it began to smell more flowery and perfumed. Still nice - but I much prefer fruit fragrances.

USAGE
The shower gel itself I found to be a little on the runny side, so I found I used a lot of this in one go. After 3 uses I had used around a quarter of the bottle. Therefore I'm not sure this is cost effective - but then maybe this is my own fault for using so much every time I shower.

It lathers up really quickly and creates lovely soft, white bubbles. My skin instantly felt soft as I was showering with it, and it felt like a high quality product. The beads of jojoba oil were not detectable when applied to the skin - they didn't act as a scrub or feel abrasive.

My skin remained lightly fragranced once I had finished showering, and felt very soft.

PRICE
A 250ml bottle of this normally costs around £1.89 which is a bit on the steep side for me personally. I got this on offer in Sainsbury's for 94p, however. Can't say fairer than that!

WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN?
Only if it was on offer. I like the smell, I like how soft my skin feels after using it, but £1.89 for 250ml? Oof.

NB. This also comes as a bath cream (500ml bottle).

Summary: Great if you get it on offer
