“ Brand: Cussons / Type: Bath Cream / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types „
I was given this bottle of shower gel as a Halloween present from a friend. Having liked and used some of the other shower gels in this range, I had high expectations for this one. The name alone of this seems to evoke fairy tales. The packaging also seems to follow on with the fairy tales theme.
The shower gel looks very intriguing. It is a pale creamy iridescent colour with small blue beads suspended through it. I love the colour of the gel, it almost seems to sparkle in the light and the small beads of jojoba oil provide a contrast to the creme.
I really like the smell of this shower gel. It is an unusual fresh, slightly fruity scent. As off as it may sound, this shower gel reminds me of what I think enchanted forests in fairytales would smell like, the slightly woody, fresh fruity scent of Narnia. It lathers up easily and leaves my skin feeling really clean and soft. While this is a very 'soft' scent, it does leave a slight scent to your skin afterwards, but it does become hard to detect shortly afterwards.
As this was a present, I am unable to say where my friend bought it or how much it costs but it is available from supermarkets or chemists such as Boots and Superdrug. The price ranges from £1.00 to £1.99, depending on where this is on offer.
I would definitely recommend this shower gel, as it has such an unusual scent and produces such great results. This is a limited edition shower gel, so I would recommend stocking up if it's a favourite of yours, though I have seen some other limited editions from Imperial Leather that have become more permanent members of their shower gel range. It is a unique scent and a lovely coloured shower gel, and does leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed. It's not one I would have immediately picked up off the shelf, as I prefer fruity scents, but I'm glad my friend bought me this.
This is such a beautiful shower gel, it's quite enchanting and fairytale like and I never thought I would describe a shower gel in those terms but it really is great fun to shower with and a nice change from the usual fruity smells I go for.
In fact, when I went to the Imperial Leather website to find out about these shower gels that's exactly what they called them, a Fairytale!
Once upon a time, alluring scents and spellbinding aromas came together to awaken the senses. Step into our fairytale-world, full of mystery and wonder, where each potion will take you on a journey.
Prepare for the ultimate indulgence for your senses with our rich, moisturising shower and bath cremes. The range is made of decadent jewel colours, sparkling shimmers and intoxicating fine fragrances. Each one will leave you feeling soothed and restored once more.
Which fairytale ending will you choose?
This particular shower gel is called Enchanting and Imperial Leather say, "Our Enchanting shower creme is pure magic, evoking all that is good and true. This crystal white potion is made with iridescent shimmers and pearls infused with moisturising Jojoba oils, all wrapped in a delicate blend of White Willow and Bluebell fragrances."
The shower gel has a really nice thick gel consistency to it and a beautiful iridescent shine to the white liquid. It has so many different aspects to it and it's really beautiful to look at in the bottle as it's almost see through but then has this depth and shine that you don't expect. You will find little blue beads in it too which I'm guessing are the bluebell portions and these pop on the skin when you are showering with it and it just leaves you smelling amazing.
The smell is absolutely delicious , it has quite a white scent to it if you can imagine that and is strong without being too overpowering. The shower gel is wonderful and moisturising on my skin too and leaves it feeling really clean and refreshed.
I would definitely recommend this shower gel to anyone.
