Ahh, the definition of bliss, a nice long relaxing soak in a Jo Malone bath! I absolutely adore her bath oils and have tried a number of them over the years, one of the latest being this gorgeous Orange Blossom bath oil.
This bath oil really is a luxury product and does not come cheap but that's all part of the experience. A bottle costs in the £40 region but it does last a very long time as you only need a couple of drops of orange blossom to really scent your bath.
The scent is described by Jo Malone as, "The scent of clementine leaves in the morning dew sparkles above a heart of orange blossom and water lily, transporting the wearer to a garden oasis. Orange Blossom Bath Oil gently fragrances and moisturises the skin. Lush and softly foaming, it's pure relaxation."
I wouldn't call this a fruity scent per say, it's not zingy in a fruity way, its more subtle and relaxing but very fragrant and natural smelling. What I love about the smell is that when you pour the oil into your bath the whole bathroom fills up with the lovely smell of orange and you are almost having a whole bath experience.
The bath oil comes beautifully packaged as well in a gorgeous glass rectangle bottle with a beautiful glass stopper at the top and a black ribbon around the top. It is classy and simple and very effective. I actually have these bottles dotted around my bath to make it look really nice and I love the look of the bathroom with these in it.
The bath oil is quite thick and you can see it when you pour it into your bath. Obviously it does not add any bubbles to your water but you can feel it really covering your skin and gently softening it as you lie in the lovely smelling water. It keeps the water quite plain but does make it a little cloudy as you have added an oil to the bath. After I get out of the bath the oil leaves my skin feeling really soft and sumptuous. I really feel like I've treated myself to something special.
