From time to time I like to pick up a more expensive shower gel and have often bought and been given Fragrance gift sets which also include shower gels. The shower gel I picked up most recently was Joop Go after I found a sample of the shower gel. Joop have a number of very good fragrances that are amongst the best sellers. I have chosen to review the Joop Go shower gel as I have used it quite a few times now and have experienced enough of the scent and how it feels on the skin to be able to convey it in this review. Joop Go as a shower gel is in a 200ml tube and can be bought for around £10-£15 depending where you shop, This might be a good choice if you are a bit hesitant to spend so much on an Eau De Toilette but would like to try the scent properly first.
**The Shower Gel**
This shower gel has a lovely fruity scent to open with which has notes of blood orange, frozen rhubarb and pimento berry. The good quality gel lasts well and doesn't need too much to lather a good amount for a shower or bath. Other notes of the shower gel contain geranium, bourbon, cypress and violet, This gives the shower gel a more distinctive feel. Finally we have the end notes of fir balsam, vetiver and musk. All in all the shower gel has a rather nice scent which smells lovely and lasts well. It's ideal for showering before you go out on the town and apply another fragrance as your Eau De Toilette.
I would recommend this shower gel to anyone who has liked Joop fragrances in the past and is looking for a more premium shower gel than the usual Lynx or Adidas etc. The shower gel feels good on the skin and is ideal for younger males and it combines well with the eau de toilette in the range too which you would expect. It's certainly one of my favourites from the Joop range and I would certainly buy the eau de toilette version in the range. I have sprayed it a few times in Boots etc and I opted for the shower gel as I already have a couple of expensive fragrances at the moment so was looking for the future and this would certainly be a contender for my next fragrance purchase.
