On my latest trip to Lush, I was intrigued by the sugar scrubs and how to use them. After being well advised I decided to give one a go and decided on the Lush A Sugar scrub.

A lovely sales assistant advised me if I took all of it in the shower, then it would dissolve quite quickly and as not to waste any, if I crushed up the product and kept it in a tub, then I could use what I wanted when I wanted, I found one scrub lasted me about 5 washes.

I tryed the green scrub and I adore the aroma, it is really intense and really effectively exfoliates your whole body. My only advice would be to be quite gentle as the scrub can irritate your skin and scratch it, I usually stick some on a shower puff and massage it in. Afterwards my skin feels fabulously soft and is ready for being moisturised.

The scrub cost £2.50, so on average 50p a wash for me, I don't think this is too bad. If you buy a ballistic for example you can only use it once whereas this lasts a while, so fairly good value for money. Usdually most scrubs aren't very effective but I found this moved even the toughest of my dry skin.

A definite on the Lush Christmas list this year!
