      Lovely gift set from Lush

Blossom is a Japanese-themed gift set from Lush, beautifully wrapped in blue and pink blossom-patterned paper. It contains two items: the mimosa, orange blossom and jasmine-scented Sakura Bath Ballistic, and the similar-scented 17 Cherry Tree Lane Soap.

I bought this gift set as a treat for myself, mainly because I wanted to try the 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap and apart from this gift set, it's only available in Retro. Also, the retro version is rectangular like most soaps - the piece in this gift set is round and has a flower pattern on top!

The Sakura bath ballistic is simple but luxurious, producing a creamy white, skin softening bath beautifully scented with a lovely floral smell that lasts. 5/5

The 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap smells similarly lovely, and washes well with a good lather. However, it does wear down quite quickly. 4/5

At £7.95 it's actually more expensive than buying the two items separately. However you should also take into account the postage you'd need to pay if buying the soap online - as a Retro item that's the only way you could get hold of it otherwise. Also, if you were giving it as a gift you'd need to buy wrapping paper anyway.

I think this is a lovely little gift set and would make a lovely present for someone, either for a birthday, Christmas, or just a little treat.

A gift I was really pleased with!

Lush Blossom is a gift set which is available by Lush Cosmetics. You can purchase it for £7.95 from your nearest Lush store or online at www.lush.co.uk. They ship internationally so if you aren't from the UK you can still get your hands on one.

I am a huge fan of Lush and all of its bath products so I was over the moon to have received this cute little gift from my Secret Santa at Christmas! It contained two Lush products which were the Sakura Bath Ballistic (bath bomb) and the 17 Cherry Tree Lane Soap. They were wrapped beautifully in flowery paper and had a cute ribbon around it. You pay a little extra than the two products are worth to have this wrapping done, but it looks very charming and I think it's completely worth it.

Upon opening my gift, I was really excited as it all smelt so lovely. I couldn't believe that the products were preserved in popcorn. I thought it was such an exciting little gift! It's a great one to buy your girlfriend, friend, daughter, mother...you get the drift! On to what was inside it:

Sakura Bath Ballistic - Upon putting this in my bath, I was slightly disappointed that my water didn't change colour unlike most of the bath bombs do, however it was a white ballistic so I wasn't expecting that much. However, I really feel that the smell made up greatly for this. It was such a fresh, floral smell that filled my bathroom. I don't think everybody would like this smell, but I thought it was lovely and fresh. I love girly smells. The smell did linger quite a while which is great, and my bath did actually turn surprisingly moisturising. I was really happy with this bath ballistic and did end up buying some more of these.

17 Cherry Tree Lane - I was lucky to have got this in my gift set as it is a discontinued product from Lush and this means it's no longer available in store. You can buy it from retro Lush on the website which www.lush.co.uk. The soap didn't come in its basic block form, it was instead circular with a flower imprinted into it. It was really cute and girly. The soap smells exactly the same as the Sakura bath ballistic, therefore if you don't like the smell of one you're not gonna be happy with it. Fortunately, I love this floral smell, and happily used up the soap within a month. When using the soap, the smell lingered on my skin for a couple of hours and I just felt so clean and fresh. The soap did soak up nicely and wasn't too waxy like some are from Lush. It was very gentle on the skin and caused no irritation.

As well as this, you get a little booklet inside your gift. It tells you what's inside your gift as well as a 10% off coupon for Lush. All you have to do is fill in your address and details and give it to the Lush staff when purchasing your next set of products and you get 10% off. As I've had a few Lush gifts I have quite a few of these coupons and they are fairly useful, especially when you spend a lot in store.

Overall, I was really happy with this gift and I'd be happy to buy it for other people or even myself. The gift was so me, although I feel that one star should be knocked off as many people will think £8 is too pricey for some soap and a bath bomb! Thanks for reading!
