Advantages: unusual nice scent, goes far, lots of bubbles

Disadvantages: none

This Lush bubble bar was apart of my gift set from my friend at Christmas 2012 and I got that much Lush products that I have only just got around to using this one. It isn't a product of Lush's I have tried before so I was quite excited. Usually I just have the ballistics as I don't really use bubble bath much. The bubble bars are solid bubble bath, this means that no packaging is needed so it is more friendly for the environment.

This bubble bar gets its name from the way it looks, Blue sky with swirly white clouds going through it, this bar is said to be relaxing and a great way to destress yourself, I don't particularly lead a stressful life but it's still nice to take a bath to chill out from time to time. This is one of Lush's largest bath products which means you get more baths out of it meaning more for your money! This is £4.25 and is always available in store and online at www.Lush.co.uk

I got this in a gift set and decided I wanted to break this up into three slices so I could have three baths out of it, so I got a knife and cut this into thirds and left the remainder in the box it came with. This was really easy to slice my way through and it didn't crumble to pieces at all which was handy otherwise the box I put it back in would of been very messy.

I waited until my bath had run for a couple of inches before putting this in, of course I crumbled this up rather than putting it in whole because I like lots of bubbles. This was really soft and easy to crumble, it felt just like wet sand. By the time I had broken all this up there was no lumps in the bath so I was sure this would fully dissolve so I don't have to sit on any horrible bits. Just to give it a hand I swished the water around a bit which encouraged the bubbles to rise.

As soon as the first pieces of blue skies and fluffy white clouds met the water, it began to turn a vibrant blue colour which looked quite cool because it all fell in different bits of the water so it turned blue in separate places before joining to make one big blue vibrant sky. There was no white swirls in the bath because I had broken it up and it had all mixed together but the blue was very eye catching.

The bubbles emerged from this really fast, as soon as I swished it around large bubbles began to form and foam up in the bath which I was impressed with from just a third of a bar. By the time I got in it felt like there was more bubbles than water in the bath, which is how I like it. What gives off a relaxing feeling a scent is Frankincense Resinoid, Patchouli Oil and Cinnamon Leaf Oil. All these combined instantly make you feel relaxed and at ease forgetting the troublesome day you have just had. This is an unusual scent from Lush which I find hard to describe, but closing your eyes you can feel yourself drifting away with this.

I found the bubbles were long lasting, they lasted the full duration of the bath of half an hour give or take a few minutes which I was really pleased about, because I use the bath for relaxing in not washing it means there is no other bath products going in which would disturb the bubbles. I was happy that this fully dissolved and left nothing floating ont eh top or sticking to the side of the bath. This really was a relaxing bath.

Summary: a lovely bubble bar
