I bought three of these bars in the Lush sale a few days ago and I am fresh out of the bath having just used one! The bar was half price and I presume it must have been around £3 full price. The bar is blue and yellow and one side is in the shape of a half moon. The smell of the bar is quite herbal and relaxing, definitely one for cold winter nights. I found the bar pretty easy to crumble. I crumbled it under my hot water tap whilst it was running to get the best out of the bar. It did froth up really well and after having already decided to use just one half of the bar I ended up using the whole bar!
In all honestly I could have used just half of the bar but I was greedy! Using the whole bar at once resulted in bubbles EVERYWHERE. It was like I was having my very own foam party in my bathroom! I was impressed though. The bubbles were really soft and creamy and they helped the water to stay warmer for longer. My bath water turned into a shade of green, which is pretty logical considering the bar is coloured yellow and blue! The froth lasted for the whole of my bath (about 45 minutes) and there were still plenty of bubbles left when I stepped out of the bath.
The smell of the bar lingered in my bathroom after use and my skin felt so soft after my bath that I didn't even need to use body lotion afterwards. The effect was pretty long lasting too.
These bars are very economical as they require no packaging. They're basically just bars of solid bubble bath. Christmas Eve is also free from animal testing.
A perfect bubble bar for dark winter nights.
I absolutely adore bubble bars from Lush as they are such nice little items that don’t cost a fortune but really make you feel pampered and as though you have bought yourself a treat.
The Christmas Eve bubble bar is part of the Lush Christmas range and it is a lovely bubble bar though I really don’t think it is very festive so not sure why it is part of the Christmas range.
The bar costs £2.95 which seems a lot for a bubble bath that is designed to be used once but I think it would be a waste to use all this in one go and you can easily get 2 or 3 uses out of it.
You crumble the bar under the hot tap to melt it and produce bubbles. You really need to make sure that you crumble it properly to get the best out of it and make sure that all the bar melts in the hot water. If it is crumbled well then you get quite a lot of bubbles from it.
The bath water goes a greeny blue colour under all the bubbles and it is a very relaxing experience to use the bubble bar. The smell is gorgeous and very relaxing with a real aromatherapy feel to it as it relaxes and soothes.
I still don’t think that it has any relevance to Christmas whatsoever but the fragrance is lovely regardless and it is a very pampering and indulgent experience to use it.
One of the presents I get off my Mum every year is a great big goody box of Lush things. In Weston Super Mare where I currently live I don't have a Lush store sadly but in Coventry where I was brought up and where my parents still live they do thankfully so I always demand if you like some goodies from there!
I had a huge box of goodies this year and in the box was one of these Christmas Eve Melts, of course I didn't get mine till Christmas day and I never waste my Lush products and keep them as 'specials' as they are so pricey so I used mine New Years Eve as a bit of a treat!
This came to me in a plastic see through bag and was a nice big sized bubble bar, in fact when I looked at the huge size of it I did think I maybe break it in half which I did actually do at first but ended up throwing the whole lot in and decided to be extravagant with myself.
So its round, thick and damp and dense to the touch. Its a rich dark blue in colour and with a yellow half moon section within it. I thought it actually didn't look that special compared to some Lush offerings but I though it smelt nice and fresh so I split it up and popped it under running taps.
This turned my water a sort of dark green colour with no glitter or anything like that in it, which is something I was pleased about as I hate the way that some Lush products scruff up my bath and after all I wasn't in my own bath but my parents!
This though was a weird one for me. It gave me absolutely loads of bubbles and froth and I certainly could have easily got away with using just half of it and those bubbles stayed put well over an hour of my soaking. My water felt ever so soft and made my skin feel like silk in it and I loved the wonderful fragrance of Jasmine and Ylang Ylang which to me seemed very soothing without being artificially fragranced or too cloying...I just felt really relaxed in this, shaved my bits and pieces within it and sometimes when I bath with Lush products even though I don't wet my hair hair in the water my hair can feel dried out and toilet brush like and this really didn't affect my hairs condition at all.
However the negative with this one for me was that even though I scrunched up and split the bar up some bits of it never melted properly in my water and I was sitting on them and then when I finished my bath I had to really rinse the lumps out though I was pleased that the rich colour never stained my mums white bathtub or made it feel greasy because my poor old parents shower in the tub and could slip and slide and break their necks if not careful!
My skin though was left feeling fantastic and smooth and really supple and cared for. My parents commented how wonderful I smelt after I had used it and the fragrance of this product really did linger on my skin beautifully for hours as did the bathroom I used it in.
I absolutely loved this bubble bar even though it all didn't melt properly though and feel this is a lovely treat for anyone being it male or female really however it is only a seasonal product and currently not on the website on sale now though it can still be found instores and online from other sellers and individually bought costs about £3.75 a bubble bar.
Available from Lush stores.

I received this Lush Christmas Eve bubble bar for Christmas. I was glad as after using many Lush products in the past year, I am starting to prefer the bubble bars to the bath bombs. After visiting the website this Christmas Eve bubble bar is no longer available, as it is from Lush's Christmas range of products. However, it is still available in some Lush stores, as it is in my local Lush store still in their 50% sale.
The bubble bar looks a bit different now to how it is in the image above. Is is still blue, but the yellow moon is now inside the bar and doesn't stick out. I think they only changed the design of this last year. I don't know if this one used to contain glitter, but mine did not.
The main scent of the bubble bar is jasmine, which is very noticeable and strong, so if you like jasmine then you will like this bubble bar. Other scents include irish moss powder (although I am not sure what this is meant to smell like) and ylang ylang oil.
As with all Lush bubble bars I use, I snap them up so I get more than one use out of them. I got three baths out of this bar which was just enough, I still had plenty of bubbles every time and the jasmine scent was noticeable the whole time I was in the bath. Unfortunately this did not change the colour of my bath water, which I would have quite liked. After reading other reviews on this Christmas Eve bubble bar others have stated that their bath water turned a nice deep blue colour, but mine didn't change in the slightest, only when I first started running the bath and their was only a little bit of water in the tub, but the colour soon faded out.
I am not sure if this is because they have changed these bubble bars since last year or if its because I snapped it up into three pieces, and to get the deep blue colour you might need to use the whole bubble bar. However, I personally would rather have three baths out of this than one for the sake of the water changing colour. As I mentioned previously I still get lots of bubbles, which is what I like, and they don't disappear quickly either like some bubbles can do.
I didn't really notice the jasmine scent on my skin when I got out of the bath, but I did enjoy the actual bath itself and so the bubble bar worked well. My skin did feel quite soft though, which I have noticed it always does after using a Lush bubble bar.
Overall I did like this bubble bar, but I'm not going to miss it much now it is slowly becoming unavailable, probably until next Christmas. This is because their are other Lush bubble bars that I like just as much, and that they sell all year round. Jasmine isn't usually a fragrance I go for either, but it did make a nice change. If you love jasmine and like me, you love your bubbles, then I recommend this bubble bar, but you will have to be quick!
I am not sure of its exact price but it was usually around £3. Therefore if you buy this now in the sale you will get it for around £1.50, so even more value for money.
I have just been getting very excited about seeing the new release list for Lush's Christmas range in 2010. However, after sorting through my Lush goodie bags I found that I am still hoarding a few items from Christmas last year! This bubble bar is one that I still had hanging around, and I thought I had better make the effort to clear out the old before bringing in the new. The Christmas Eve bubble bar has been re-released for Christmas this year, and is available to buy from Lush stores on the high street, via mail order, or online at www.lush.co.uk. It costs £2.60 for a 100g bar.
Lush say: "The Night Before...
Escape from seasonal stresses with a soothing, deep blue, floral bubble bath. Irish moss powder forms a soothing, softening gel in the beautifully blue water; the floral and sensual scents of jasmine and ylang ylang are relaxing, and the oils are good for caring for sensitive skins."
The bar looks very nice and decorative, it's a circular shape block that is quite thick and is boldy coloured. It has a bright royal blue base with a yellow crescent moon decoration that sits on top, and it also part of the bubble bar. The design looks quite traditional but the colours keep it modern. The scent isn't too strong when the bar is dry before putting it in the bath, and I found it difficult to pick out any individual notes.
Bubble bars are a really original idea for a bath product. It's a solid bar and feels totally unlike most other bath products. The idea is that you use chunks of it in your bath water and it creates the same effect as a regular bubble bath. Because of its nature the product requires no packaging and is extremely environmentally friendly, just pop it into a recycled paper bag and then re-use or recycle it again once you've finished.
It's important that you use this product correctly, so here are some tips on how to get the most out of your bath. To start with, keep the product dry at all times to preserve it's solid state. I usually store my Lush things in their little yellow paper bags in a box in my wardrobe, so that the steam and dampness from the bathroom doesn't affect them. When you are ready to use it, with dry hands break off a section of the bar. Lush usually recommend that you use a third of the bar per bath, but as this bar had been sat in my cupboard for the best part of a year I used the whole lot in one go - very decadent! Start running the taps and crumble the bubble bar section under the hot running water. Make sure you break down the little lumps and help it to dissolve properly. To get an extra frothy bath, run the water through your showerhead and the bubbles grow out of control! Once the crumbled bits of bar have disappeared you will have a gorgeous bath full of bubbles waiting for you. It is quite soft and breaks up easily when you crush it in your hands, so you don't need to use too much force.
Christmas Eve has what I would call a "Radox" scent to it. It smells very much like the herbal concoctions you usually get in a nice soothing Radox bath. The bubble bar is fragranced by jasmnine and ylang ylang which is a nice mix of herbal and floral so it's not too girly. I believe I also picked up a slight tang of fruityness as well. The scent was much more noticeable after the bar had been dissolved and hung around my bathroom leaving it nicely fragranced. The scent is not something I would usually go for and I wasn't overly keen on it but the aromatherapy effect left me feeling very relaxed and calmed ready for a good night's sleep, and I felt rested afterwards.
The colour of the bathwater was transformed by this bar into a vibrant blue shade! This gives a lovely rich colouring, and is tropped by a forthy layer of thick white bubbles which looks good in combinationThe normal rule is the fresher your bubble bar the better staying power your bubbles will have, but luckily my bubbles still had plenty of life left in them and they didn't fade away much at all.
When I was crumbling the bar into my bath I used the whole of the bar, so I only managed to get one use out of it. It's down to personal taste whether you use more or less - some people like to use the whole thing in one go, and other prefer to use a smaller amount to make it last longer. Using the whole bar left my skin feeling soapy and cleansed, and I got a huge stack of bubbles out of it. My skin did feel squeaky clean and soft afterwards, and this lasted into the next day. The scent was very strong while I was in the water, but it did not seem to linger noticeably on my skin.
The Christmas Eve bubble bar is good value for money and makes for a nice relaxing bath time treat. I don't know if I'll bother buying it again this year as I prefer sweeter scented products, but it is a good Christmassy product and has been re-released again this year so it must be popular. Recommended for a fun, colourful bath that will leave you feeling relaxed during the hectic Christmas period.

I recieved this in a christmas boxset from a friend and was very, very, very happy as I absoloutley love this Lush bubble bar.
It is limited to christmas time, hence whiy it is called 'christmas eve' and I really hope that they haven't discontinued it this year. Alone I think it'd cost somewhere between £2-£3, which isn't too bad seeing as you can easily split in into two.
The bar is blue in colour with half a yellow moon, with some lovely glittery dusting over which makes it look very chrismassy.
I perssonally used half of mine, partly to savour it and also because I believe that this produces more than enough bubble to fill the whole bath. If you put it into the bath whilst the water is running then this produces lots more bubbles than if you put it in once the bath has run.
The bath turns a lovely, relaxing deep blue colour and the bath watern becomes very soft and soothing. The scent of this one has to be my absoloute favourite as it is just so relaxing and soothing, it is kind of christmassy and I think it smells a bit of lavendar. It is nowhere near as sweet as some of them, which is why I think I like the scent so much!
After using this it definitley puts you in the christmas spirit and leaves your skin lovely, soft and soothed, perfect for christmas morning! The scent lingers on your skin, which is great and also it is very moisturising so there is no need to moisturise, unless you want to, after using this!
I first tried this bubble bar last summer as a Lush tester and I fell in love with it instantly. It was available as part of the Lush Christmas range 2009 and it is unknown whether they will make it again this Christmas though I absolutely pray they do because it is my favourite and I have a small stash of them.
The main scent of this bubble bar is jasmine, ylang ylang and Gardenia. The trio make fo a gorgeous and soothing scent. It is very calming and relaxing. It is a very wintery mix.
Once it is put into the bath (with Lush bubble bars, you crumble them under running water for the maximum effect) it turns the bath a gorgeous midnight blue and the amount of bubbles this bar generates is amazing. It reminds me of snow against the sky. The scent is quite strong and leaves the bathroom scented for hours afterwards and my skin always smells of it the next morning. It has definate staying power.
It is definately a winter bubble bar. My favourite thing with this bubble bar was to sink into a nice hot bath once the dark evening had drawn in with a good book and just soak. I can't wait for the winter to come around again for me to do it!
When it was available, I think it cost £2.50 per bubble bar. It was definately worth it and I pray to God that Lush decide to make this bubble bar again this Christmas.

Christmas shopping lets face it, is a nightmare and let me tell you with 3 little boys to drag around it's quite a stressful day.
So as I tried to cram as much into one day as possible there I saw my fave shop having a little demonstration in the door way, this is such a wonderful idea I mean how many other bubble baths ect can you try before you buy?.
The Charming member of staff was in fact using Christmas Eve, now I have to say being a huge lush fan I tend to go for the very girly looking ones but this smelt divine as I walked up to the demo.
Fragranced with jasmine and ylang ylang you pretty much know you're in for a treat with that winning combo. Looks wise it's a dark blue bar with a tiny bit of glitter and a half moon on the top of it.
So after a good wander round the shop and a few little yellow bags in my basket (by the way are a lovely touch to the shop, they use wicker baskets over the boring shop kind) I gave into to the Christmas eve bubble bar and added one more yellow bag to my basket.
I have to say I got home got the kiddies to bed and used it up! A lot of people use a whole bar; I tend to use half sometimes a little less depending on the size of it.
With this I only needed half. All you do with your bubble bar is break off the amount you wish to use and crumble under warm water and watch as the bubbles grow.
Its smell was beautiful the bath water was blue with a fluffy layer of bubbles on top.
So I sat with my book and relaxed and at the end of it had beautifully soft skin and I have got to tell you this bubble bar is now up there with the best lush products.
Now it is for Christmas so don't expect to be able to go in store in 3 months and find it as it won't be there.
I highly recommend you go in store now as I went in just a few days ago to find if you spend £20 they give you a bag worth £20 for free and when I got home to my delight it was full of the Christmas stock....Christmas eve being one of them.
A good lush tip is to stock up on the limited edition ones, just enough to last you as with all popular limited Christmas lush products it will grace the yellow bags again next year.
At £2.50 some might say it's a tad overpriced but IMO not at all, all lush fans will know that's a bargain
Now I have to say after all this talking of Christmas Eve bubble bar and a bout of flu I think I might go run myself a bath and crumble this one into it!! If you're a fan of the bubbles then I suggest you join me xx
I got this bar in a LUSH Christmas gift-box. Apart from their soaps, I'm not the biggest fan of LUSH bath products; I just always receive them as gifts. I didn't realise Christmas Eve was a bubble bar. LUSH bubble bars look similar to bath ballistics but are more dense and turn your bath into a bubble bath. I hate bubble baths; they dry out my skin, smell artificial and just seem so pointless, so this probably isn't sounding good so far. I threw this in my bath while it was running like you would do with a bath ballistic. I was surprised to see my bath filling with bubbles! This product is heavily packed; it filled up the whole bath. You could easily get away with just using half of this at a time. The bubbles are small and fluffy, they lasted for ages too.
I jumped in and couldn't believe it; my bathwater felt silky, as did my skin. Parts that hadn't been dissolved I rubbed over my skin (you're really meant to crumble bubble bars). I loved it, I didn't want to get out! I even soaked my hair in the same water, something I would never do with bubble bath, my hair felt a little dry while washing it and took more rinsing than normal, but once my hair was dry it felt normal. The water had changed into a deep blue colour but I barely noticed as there were so many bubbles.
After my bath the moisturisring effect didn't last as long, but my skin was left feeling very clean, fresh and lightly fragranced which I can still smell in my hair 10 hours later!
I love how this bar looks; dark blue with a deep yellow crescent moon. There's a hint of glitter making it more festive, which is hardly detectable once it's dissolved. This is a floral fragrance; a combination of Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang, but it's so light and subtle. It leaves a very clean and fresh smell and has calming properties, so it's a good bar to use just before you go to sleep (especially on Christmas Eve!).
This was my first experience with a LUSH bubble bar and I'm already a fan which is a big feat for someone who, until now, hated bubble baths. I will definitely look into purchasing some more of these.
LUSH Christmas Eve bubble bar retails at £2.50 which makes it a great occasional treat.
This was one of Lush's Christmas 2009 products but I've only started using them within the past two weeks. I got 4 of these in various gifts and lucky dip bags and I honestly wish I'd started using it sooner so I could've stocked up.
The photo pretty much sums up the appearance! Dark/royal blue with a yellow crescent moon on top and some blue glitter. Don't worry about the glitter going everywhere from this one as there's actually none inside it (none in mine anyways).
I only ever use a third of a bubble bar at once as I know they cost around £2.50 so I try to get as many uses as I can out of it. A third of it should still create enough bubbles for a lovely luxurious soak.
I love the smell of this when it crumbles under the hot running water, it smells just how I want bubble bath to smell. From memory I think this contains jasmine and ylang ylang but whatever if it it's a very appealing clean scent.
The bath water turns a lovely royal blue colour and the water feels very 'soft' using this product. I also love the huge amounts of fluffy white bubbles on the surface. It creates a very relaxing atmosphere so it's good for a calming treat every now and again.
I don't think this product really does anything special for the skin, mine doesn't feel softer or anything after use, just clean and nice smelling which is fine by me! I hope they bring this back next Christmas as I'll definitely be getting it again, for now I'll have to make do with eeking out as many baths as I can from my remaining 3 bars!
Chances are that you've heard of Lush before, but just to recap, they are a company that produce bath and beauty products that are not tested on animals and also that use a lot of natural ingredients. Lush has stores on most High Streets but items can also be ordered online or via Mail Order.
Christmas Eve Bubble Bar costs £2.50 and I decided to buy it exactly for Christmas Eve! It is dark blue with a yellow moon and smells like jasmine. To use I crumbled it under running water in the bath and sat back whilst it did it's magic.
The foaming/bubbles this produced wasn't as good as other Lush bubble bars and was quite disappointing really. The bath water did turn an amazing shade of dark blue though, and really made me feel as though I was looking up at the sky - in my own bathroom. THe yellow moon was lost somewhere between me purchasing the bubble bar and using it, which I was quite disappointed about but obviously this doesn't really affect the review.
This bubble bar was designed to relax on Christmas eve and it did just that! I found the jasmine scent very relaxing and was keen to slip into my Pjs after a nice relaxing bath and pretty much laze around in front of the tv before going to bed. Isn't that one of the nice things about Christmas anyway? My skin also felt moisturised afterwards which is quite rare for my skin type.
Overall I'd probably use this again but I wouldn't rush to get it. There is always next year!
I brought this bubble bar from Lush a couple of weeks before Xmas, I didn't get chance to use it on Xmas Eve because we were too busy dashing round and getting the house sorted for my sisters to get up and have some fun.
I ended up forgetting about it because I got loads of bathtime goodies for Xmas and it wasn't until last night that I got round to using it. The bubble bar looks exactly the same as the one in the picture Dooyoo have got up, it looks a bit sparkly up close but I'm confident it's not going to be one of them irritating bubble bars that covers the bath, towels and EVERYTHING in glitter for days.
I used the whole bubble bar instead of breaking it in half because it's not very big and I was in the mood for a long soak in a very special bath. You probably could get 2 baths out of it but I felt like using the whole thing. When you crumble the bubble bar under the running water you'll see straight away that it turns the water a mega deep blue colour, there's a bit of a shimmer in the water and also mixed in with the bubbles. That makes it nice to lie in but like I said before it won't cover you in glitter like Ruby Red Slippers does.
The main smells in Christmas Eve are jasmine and ylang ylang, jasmine is one of my fave flowery smells and this one deffo doesn't disappoint. It's a strong jasmine smell that fills the bathroom (and beyond!!! lol), but the bubble bar doesn't smell madly floral because I think it's got a bit of a spicey smell too. You get shedloads of bubbles out of this bubble bar and the surface of my bath was covered, the bubbles are also mega strong and don't disappear after 10 mins like a lot of bubbles you get out of liquid bubble baths do.
The water goes very soft when you use Christmas Eve and the smell makes it a mega relaxing bath. When I got out and dried myself I was surprised at how soft and smooth my skin felt, I've used most of the different Lush products and I don't think any of them have been quite as moisturising as this one even though they're all mega moisturising! I also felt very clean when I got out because I'd used some of the thick jasmine scented bubbles to wash myself.
The jasmine smell lasted on my skin until the next morning and also filled the bathroom for hours. I went to bed straight after my bath and even though I wasn't feeling that tired I went to sleep dead quickly, so quickly that when I woke up at 8am I'd fell asleep with my book open on the bed and my lamp was still on! That just shows how relaxing and soothing this bubble bar is I reckon and I wish now that I'd used it on Xmas Eve because it would have been a wicked bath before the big day!
I received this as part of a Christmas present and was really pleased as I had not tried this before and was really interested to see how it compares to my favorite Lush bubble bar the Ma Bar .
~~What Is it ?~~
Its a Ylang Ylang and Jasmine scented bubble bar made by Lush . A bubble bar is like a solid bar of bubble bath which you crumble into your bath under a running tap it softens and scents the water whilst creating lots of fluffy white bubbles.
~~ What Does It Look Like ? ~~
It's a bit bigger than a bar of soap but much more wrinkly looking and rougher in texture. Royal blue in colour with a yellow moon and a sprinkle of fairy dust glitter on top.
~~Why Is It Called Christmas Eve Bubble Bar ? ~~
Its supposed to heal relax and soothe you after all that Christmas shopping. This Christmas Eve Bubble Bar is scented with Jasmine and Ylang Ylang. Jasmine is said to heal the mind and body and Ylang Ylang is to relax and soothe you.
First I got a nice chilled glass of wine and a book then I crumbled the whole bubble bar into a running bath. I was a bit surprised at the colour it was a really intense royal blue with a slight sparkle from the glitter it looked like I had squirted royal blue paint in the bath and sprinkled a tiny amount of glitter on top. I was a little worried by the colour.....I didn't want to get out of the bath looking like a blue sea monster from the deep or Scully (the blue furry monster from Monsters Inc.) and my bath is white and I was worried it would stain the bath blue.
The scent was nice very floral and I recognised the Jasmine and Ylang Ylang scent which was quite strong whilst the bath was running yet you could hardly smell it once you got in the bath.
Whilst the bath was relaxing and soothing I can't honestly say it healed my mind and body or that my skin was much softer or Jasmine and Ylang Ylang perfumed afterwards. However it doesn't change your skin colour or leave any colour or bits in your bath (Thank Goodness).
Whilst this is an OK Lush product which I may buy again in my opinion it is no where near as good as the Ma Bar and if you have ever used a Ma Bar before you will know what I mean the Ma Bar for me is really superior to this as it really does leave your skin smooth, moisturised and fresh and has a lovely scent which lasts for ages you can still smell it the day after whilst I was struggling to smell anything half an hour later with the Christmas Eve bar.
However if you like floral scents like Jasmine and Ylang Ylang then I would recommend you try this bubble bar
~~Price Packaging and Availability~~
£2.50 from any Lush store or online in UK. About $8 in USA. The Christmas Eve bubble bar is a seasonal product which is only available at Christmas time. I would advise a trip to a Lush shop if you have one near by as it is great to go in a Lush shop and actually see and smell all the Lush products before you buy them online.
The Lush website is:
Lush invent their own products and fragrances and they are all made fresh with a date on so you know when they were made.
Lush believes in only buying products from companies that do not conduct or commission tests on animals. Lush believe in saving the planet and recycling everything so the packaging of this bar is nothing fancy just the standard yellow and black paper bag which they recommend you use to scent your sock drawer or similar after using your bubble bar.
After receiving a box of Lush goodies for Christmas (as you will be aware from my previous review!), I decided to review the next product I tried from the box.
The product I will now review is - "Christmas eve bubble bar".
Now of course I couldn't try this on Christmas eve due to the fact I didn't get it until the morning, none the less this has come in very useful, especially after the tiring day I had on Christmas day (my poor sister in law only came out of hospital that morning after having a hysterectomy three days prior) then my relatives descending onto us in there hundreds (ok, slight exaggeration!), then finally fighting to get the kids into bed at 10pm, as they decided they weren't tired in the slightest, even though me and the hubby couldn't keep our eye's open!
On Boxing day I decided to treat myself to a long and luxuriant bath (I am more of a shower girl!), and choose the afore mentioned bubble bar, more due to the fantastic colour.
After reading reviews previously on here, and not being a real Lush expert, I decided to take others advice and cut the bar into two pieces, thus making the experience last twice as long!
I crumbled the delightfully soft and squiggy piece into the bath and was delighted to see the water go a deep blue colour, though a little worried that I would get out of the bath the same colour as the water (which of course I didn't!).
There was also mounds of bubbles too, which was a lovely addition to my bathing experience.
I have seen in other peoples reviews about there being glitter in this bar, but I really don't recall seeing any in my bar or bath.
After immersing myself into the hot, blue water I felt myself slipping into relaxed unconsciousness!
The scent that I couldn't initially identify is apparently Jasmine, though at that point I really couldn't have cared less!
The water seemed to relax, moisturise my skin and make the season somewhat less stressful (well for the duration of the bath anyway!), and was amazed to find that once I actually managed to get out, that I had been in there for 1 hour, which for me is unheard of, my husband saying he thought I had drowned, though he failed to come and check just incase!
Afterwards, my skin felt soft and moisturised and not in the slightest irritated, which is good as I don't have the best skin by any means!
Price wise this will set you back around the £2.50ish mark, and well worth every penny!

Thanks for reading x
This was actually a Christmas day bubble bath for me as it was a stocking present. As always with lush it has an incredible strong smell in its neat form but melts away into something gorgeous when added to the bath. So far I have used this 3 times and I still have half left. I know in the shop they say it can give you one or two baths, but if you're not that self indulgent then it does actually go a lot further.
It turns the bath water a wonderful royal blue. It also turns anything you leave it on blue which does worry me slightly. I put in on my pine set of draws and it needed a scrubbing to remove the blue. There is a slight amount of glitter in here which if you share your bath with a bloke, will not go down well, but who cares?
The quality of the bubbles is as with all lush bath crumblies, very moisturising and makes the water feel like it has had bath oils added. Because of this it is probably not a good idea to wash your hair in the bath when using this product.
