“ Brand: Lush / Foam / Type: Bubble Bar / Subcategory: Bath Melt / Bath Foam „
Ahhh this is my favorite lush product of all time.
dont use the whole bar all at once or you'll never see your bathroom again for all the bubbles.
I break mine into 4 pieces and have a tonne of bubble a bright pink bath and the most amazing smell floating around my house for days after using it.
The confetti dissolves nicely in the hot water and is so luxurious ahh i could use it every day but then it would be so much fun and as much of a treat.
It leaves you skin seriously soft, smooth and smelling divine.
my little girl once used a bit of this and came out of the bath a funny shade of pink it was quiet funny but soon washed off under the shower.
I cant remember how much these ones cost as i got mine as a gift but i sure there worth every penny.
if your a lush fan and havent tried this then your really should, its amazing
Having just found this in my Lush box where I store all my goodies I am sooooo dissapointed to find it was only a Christmas Limited Edition, suppose its one more reason to look forward to next Christmas eh?
Lush Christmas Morning Bubble Bar is bright pink with all coloured paper popping out, to use you crumble under running water to leave a mound of bubbles and a pink bath. I only use half of one at a time and this seems sufficient to colour the water and create enough bubbles. When crumbling it did leave my hands a neon orangey/pink colour but fortunately it didnt stain.
The smell reminded me of orange sherbert, or love heart sweets. A mixture of sweet and citrus, lovely!!! One of the things that put me off this bubble bar is that the paper looks like it would go soggy in my bath, but they appeared to just dissolve after a while so didnt bother me.
As with all bubble bars my skin feels slightly softer after using, but this isnt the main purpose of the product, I think its more of a fun bath product.
Due to this being a Christmas product I dont know the exact price as I would have got it in a gift set, however most of the bubble bars retail at around £3. So a little pricey but great as a treat.
Lush explain the reason for making solid bubble bars rather than liquid is because it doesnt need preservatives, and also it is more fun and appealing to have a bright funny shaped novelty bar!
This is my current favourite Lush product. It is a Limited Edition Christmas Bubble Bar Slice. The neon pink slice is filled with tiny pieces of multi-coloured tissue paper that swirl around the bath tub when the slice is crumbled into the bath.
Christams Morning has a fruity, refreshing scent, that is perfect for a morning bath. Grapefruit is a note that I can smell strongly but many other fruits are included. The scent isn't very christmassy. More summary in fact. It is very strong and fruity, almost like you could eat it!
A bubble Bar Slice is simple to use. All you need to do is break a chunk of the 100g Bar off crumble it under running warm water and watch it buuble up. It turns the water bright pink with a layer of luxurious, frothy bubbles and the paper streamers on top.
I think that this product is suitable for many people. Women will like to use it for an uplifting bath, little girls will love the bright colour and fun scent and I think that even the most macho of men will enjoy using Christmas Morning once ever so often!
I think that this Bubble Bar Slice is a bargin at £2.95 per 100g slice (sometimes it weighs more). I would use it more often if it was a all year round product, so I suppose I will just have to stock up at Christmas!
Wow! These Christmas Morning Bubble Bars from Lush are fab. They really are. I did not use mine on Christmas morning because Christmas morning is for sharing and I didn't want to soak in the bath. To make the most of these bars, you need a good long soak - I do like to get my money's worth!!
They make such a great present because they look so fun and present like. They are jammed full of different colour bits. They basically look like a big ball of wrapping paper scraps. I think Lush design team have got this spot on as a Christmas Bubble Bar and as a name!
The water was lovely soft and creamy when this dissolved into the water. It made my skin smooth and the lovely bright citrus scent lasted on my skin once it was dried.
I used mine on boxing Day and it really perked me up. I find that Boxing Day is always an anti-clmix and always involves a head ache of some kind. Lying back in the bubbles from this bar really sorted my mood out and cheered me up.
At just under 3 pound they are expensive but I love them!
I really liked the smell of the Christmas Morning bubble bar, the thing that put me off using it before now was the fact that it contains so many paper streamers. I didn't really like the thought of bathing with lots of soggy paper, and when I used the Christmas Party ballistic which also contained bits of paper, it put me off using it even more. The idea behind the paper (according to the Lush website) is that it is supposed to represent Christmas Morning when the house is covered in wrapping paper. A good idea, I suppose, but bathing in it is something else.
Christmas Morning is from Lush's Christmas range of bubble bars. If you're not familiar with the concept, a bubble bar is basically solid bubble bath. You crumble the bar under running water and it dissolves making lots of bubbles and sometimes colouring the water too.
This particular bubble bar is round and shaped like a ball. It's a shocking pink colour, and has various different coloured paper streamers sticking out of it, which gives it a rather crazy, colourful appearance.
Like I said, I love the smell of this bar, as it's a citrussy fragrance, which as I'm sure I have mentioned in several of my reviews, I love anything orange, lemon or lime scented. The bar is suitable for vegans and contains tangerine oil and neroli oil, which give it a quite sharp orange scent, but also has sandalwood oil in it, which gives it a bit of a woody note, and stops it from being too zingy.
This crumbled easily but the bright pink of the bar did dye my hands pink in the process, but this rinsed away easily. I was surprised when I crumbled this, to see that the paper confetti was only on the outside and did not go all the way through to the centre of the bar.
Once in the water, the water went a beautiful bright pink colour, but that was soon obscured by all the foamy white bubbles on the surface of the water. There were less paper streamers than I had initially expected to see, and they seemed to sink to the bottom, so luckily I barely noticed them when I was in the bath.
The smell of this product is absolutely lovely when in the water, although I didn't think it was quite as strong as it was when it was dry. The bubbles felt silky and soft, although I couldn't really feel a difference to the water itself, which I usually can with Lush bath products. The bubbles also lasted for the entire bath, which is great as you often find when using cheap liquid bubble baths they disappear quite quickly.
When I got out of the bath, I was a bit worried that this would have stained it pink, given the colour it turned my hand when crumbling it, not to mention the fact that the colour had actually stained through the paper bag that the product came in. In fact it didn't leave a mark, which I was pleased about, but the soggy paper pieces were a bit of a pain to remove.
My skin felt soft after using this, and the scent did linger on my skin, but it could only really be detected close up, and wasn't really noticeable from a distance.
A Christmas Morning bubble bar costs £2.95 and can be purchased from Lush stores or online at www.lush.co.uk For one bath, this is quite pricey, although the bubble bars can be broken up into pieces if you like, so you get a couple more uses out of them. As a one off treat or to give as a Christmas gift, the price isn't too bad though.
I really thought I was going to hate this, due to the paper streamers it contained. In the end though, they seemed a bit pointless, as they just sunk to the bottom of the bath, but thankfully they didn't stick to me and the only problem I had was cleaning them out of the bath when I'd finished. In actual fact, I actually loved this bubble bar - it smells absolutely gorgeous and uplifting, it leaves the skin lovely and soft and turns the water an amazing pink colour. Definitely one of the best Lush Christmas products!
Just like Christmas morning a bath full of paper streamers and the scent of clementines /
