Advantages: Makes bathtime fun for adults and kids!

Disadvantages: A bath ballistic only lasts for one bath.

The Lush Fizzbanger Bath Ballistic is light yellow in colour is described as an "Explosive toffee-apple banger!". So does it live up to it's name?

Yes!

This bath ballistic is light yellow (imagine Lemsip powder) in colour and has a delicious cinnamon and toffee-apple scent to it. At 200g, it is quite a large bath ballistic too.

Having run my bath water, I dropped in the Lush Fizzbanger and it immediately got to work, fizzing, foaming and floating around the bath. I then realized I could even hear what sounded like popping candy (remember that stuff?!) and lots off it too, popping in the bath. The bath was turning a nice yellow colour. I was certainly impressed so far!

Then the Fizzbanger cracked open and I could see that it was blue inside. The blue part of the bath ballistic started to foam and fizz even more than the yellow part had. The blue was reacting with the water and turning the yellow into a beautiful green colour.

Half way through doing it's work, I noticed something sticking out of the bath ballistic, it was a small piece of paper with a graphic "Bang!" on it. I thought that was quite a nice touch.

Once the Lush Fizzbanger had done it's work, I lay back and relaxed in the bath. I did think the water felt slightly oily, but it didn't look oily so that was OK. I loved the colour of the water as it kind of felt like I could have been in some tropical ocean.

It's funny, because I'm not usually a big fan of bath ballistic, but just lately I've come across a couple of brilliant ones by Lush (this one and Mrs Whippy). I'm a big kid at heart and I love a fun bath and Fizzbanger certainly makes the bath fun! If you've got kids, then I think they'll be fighting you for this bath ballistic!

Some of Lush's products are suitable for vegans and so there will be some people whoe are pleased to know that this is one of them.

As with most Lush products, not many people could afford to have a Fizzbanger bath on a regular basis, but they are definitely a great treat. The Lush Fizzbanger currently costs £2.99 and I thought it was well worth it, despite me not usually paying that much for a whole bottle of bubble bath, never mind for a product that only lasts for one bath. However, as I said, it's well worth it as a treat.

Highly recommended!

Summary: A fun bath ballistic!
