Honey bee bath bomb

Little miss often buys bath bombs from Lush and this was the latest purchase.

Available from Lush stores and also online at www.lush.co.uk, this costs £3.15 for one bath bomb. As with all of the bath bombs its not the cheapest way to get a bath so we always have half each, because the whole bath bomb is way too much for one bath.

The bath bomb is spherical in shape and because all of the products are hand made each one is slightly different. the main aim though is to make them look like bees, and they are striped in a yellow and greyish colour. To me, the over riding smell is of lemon and because of this it smells nice and fresh. When I add it to running water the bath bomb fizzes slightly and dissolves very easily leaving my bath water looking yellowish in colour which isn't the most pleasant bath water. However the smell is very nice and becomes more obvious when dissolved, so the bathroom smells deliciously citrusy.

When bathing in the bath bomb it was quite relaxing even though I prefer some bubbles in my bath but for me I think it was more the fact that I liked the smell than the actual ingredients in the bath bomb. Fortunately when I came out of the bath my skin hadn't turned yellow although I can't say the same about the bath. Disgusting! Along the sides was a darker yellow tide mark ( and I wasn't that dirty!) and the bottom of the bath was yellow with little bits of what must be the glitter. Yes, the bath bomb in true Lush style has to contain bits of something and in the case of this one, I believe it to be gold glitter because I had some bits on my body.


VERDICT...


I am yet to find the perfect Lush product because or me they are just too much of a gimmick. This has a great smell and left my skin feeling clean and whilst not especially moisturised it didn't feel dry.

A good enough product apart from the steep price and the fact that it left the bath filthy.
