Honey I Washed the Kids is probably one of the most popular soaps produced by natural cosmetics company, Lush. It is described as having the scent of toffee and honeycomb - which it does, in spades. It's true what Lush say about the product on their website, that people who were fully intending to walk out of the store without buying anything just can't resist the smell of this product and grab a big chunk and take it to the till. In fact, I had heard so many fantastic stories about this soap that eventually I decided I had to try it for myself. I made my purchase at my local Lush store, which as anyone who has ever been into a Lush store knows, is ... Read the complete review

I don't normally buy blocks of soap as I favour liquid soap and liquid shower washes. I was however, pleased to receive two Lush gift sets at Christmas and included in one set was a star shaped block of 'Honey I Washed The Kids'. ~The Soap~ 'To bee, or not to bee' Lush do not test their products on animals and try to use many natural ingredients. This particular soap is popular with Lush customers and has been around for quite some time. It is free from preservatives and is vegetarian friendly. If you are a fan of this soap, you may also like 'Honey Bee Bath Bomb' as this has the same honey/toffee scent. 'It's Raining Men Shower Gel' is ... Read the complete review

This product is a handmade soap by a company called Lush. As far as I am aware, you can only buy these in a shop, and you pay by the kg. They are not "preformed", basically in the shop they have a massive slab of the stuff, and you simply ask the assistant how much you want, and whether you want it wrapped in a special scarf or not. Anyway, Lush is one of these fair-trade hand made cosmetic shops with all natural ingredients and the like. Also, their products are of very high quality, and a combination of both of these factors results in this soap costing... well a lot. I can't remember how much exactly, but its around £5-£6 per 100grams or something ... Read the complete review

I love shopping in Lush and although soap might seem a bit boring, Lush always try their best to make it more interesting! I seem to have amassed several pieces of Honey I Washed The Kids soap from various goody bags and gift sets. It is available from the Lush high street stores, via mail order, or online at www.lush.com. The blocks come in several size options: £3.40 for a 100g block, £8.50 for a 250g block, and £17.00 for a 500g block. Product description: "You can wash the kids in this if you want, but make sure you get your share of this honey toffee-scented addictive soap! Don't blame us if a fight breaks out over it - buy several to avoid family ... Read the complete review

I suffer from eczema on my feet, and my sister knows this bothers me a lot, and as one of my Christmas presents I received a rather generous slab of this soap. I received a cake style slice (thinner at the bottom than the top) which was wonderful as I got lots of the honeycomb that tops this soap. This soap, like all others I have ever had from Lush, comes provided in a wax paper kind of packaging. There is a simple label on there describing the item and the ingredients. This is all very simple and this really just describe Lush. They offer wonderful products that do not have many unnecessary ingredients and if you prefer you can completely forgo the ...
