Lush Karma Soap
Advantages: Smells great and looks great. Moisturising
Disadvantages: Can be used up quickly
I have recently been trying some more of the Lush Soap range after falling in love with "Miranda" and decided to plump for Karma mainly due to its great reviews! As with all Lush soap when you buy them, you get a chunk, usually about 100g but you can ask for any size, a 100g block is currently priced at £3.95. Lush tell you to "breeze through the day with an air of good Karma surrounding you".
It is called Karma as it was inspired by a couple of hippies who spoke to it's inventor,Mark. He claims the smell was then aimed to "bottle the heady ambience of Kensington Market as he remembers it in the 60's". The soap in a deep rich red colour and smells heavenly. You can pick up notes of Orange and there is also a flowery fragrenace to this. When I popped this soap in my bathroom it filled the room with its sweet and spicy smell. The block contains countless natural extracts and oils. Karma contains:-
Sweet Orange Oil,
The soap lathers up well when used, but does use up quickly. I found my block was soon gone, but maybe that was because everyone was finding an excuse to wash their hands with it. I also used it in the shower though and found I could see the bar reducing in size just as I was using it. But apart form it not being long lasting the Karma soap is great. Smells fanatastic, lathers up well and when you have used it your skin feels nouriched and not dried out as with other 'standard' soaps. The orange and essential oil fragrance stays on your skin for a number of hours after use and then gently fades away.
Another wonderful soap from Lush!
Summary: A lovely scent that stays with you for hours
