I only bought this for one reason and that's because it reminded me of super Mario and at the time I had purchased a few games and some plush teddies as well so this influenced me too add the magic mushroom to my list a long with a few other items as well. The magic mushroom bubble bar is part of Lush's valentines day special products although the shape doesn't represent anything about valentines day unless your going to drug your partner with magic mushrooms. The shape and way this is made reminds me of a child's early art work which to me doesn't make it very appealing or maybe it was just how mine arrived in the post. This has a little white stalk, a red top with white spots This is 100g so it is quite large.

Lush can sometimes give the scent away with the colours of their items,this as you might of guessed already is strawberries and cream scent, I couldn't really identify the creamy scent in this at all and it just smelt of a kind of strawberry fruity smell, it wasn't bad but when your expecting a yummy desert flavour in your bath and it just smells of a mixed fruit it is a little disappointing. As this started to turn into bubbles I noticed a lot of the scent did disappear so this actually only smelt of fruitiness in it's solid state.

This is quite simply a hard lump of bubble bath, Lush try to create products so they don't have to have any packaging and making their products such as bubble bars and shampoo bars etc this means they can have them 'naked' in the shops this is where the item is simply on the shelf with no packaging and you can just pick the one you want and they will put it ina small bio degradable bag for you. So you can use this magic mushroom bubble bar in a few ways, some like to crush this is and put it all straight into the bath,I however like to save this up and use it as many times as I can to get my money's worth out if it, You need to crush these up no matter how you use it otherwise you'll have some weird solid funky lump bobbing up and down on the water with a bit of froth coming from it. So crush this up it is very easy to do with your hands, I do mine in a container and just put a small handful of this into my bath. I only use a little bit as this does produce a bath full of bubbles so you'll be overwhelmed with the full bubble bar in your bath. Once in your hot running water this will froth up and start foaming and forming into bubbles, I can get about 3 uses out of my bubble bars.

Adding magic mushroom to my bath did make the water feel oily and luxurious which anyone whose used this will know what I mean,it just made the bath seem a little better and replenishing for the skin. The aim of this bubble bar is not just for bubbles but contains ingredients to help you relax because after all that's why we have bubble baths.

Bergamot Oil is a natural antiseptic and helps with acne, eczema, oily skin and more, this also has a slight orangey scent to it helping to the fruit smell of the magic mushroom. Jasmine absolute is used to help to skin heal things such as stretch marks and scars. Geranium oil helps to skin to stay soft and supple and also has qualities such as helping with depression by keeping you relaxed. Vanilla absolute is to product the creamy scent in the magic mushroom, this works well with the Bergamot oil as they both help to calm and relax.

This is a relaxing bubble bar and I have purchased quite a few of these over the year and for something to contain so many helpful ingredients they shouldn't just restrict this to the valentine period, being a sufferer of an illness I do anything to keep me calm and to help me relax a little which in the end does stop me getting stressed out which does make situations worse, I also have trouble sleeping, I like to use bubble bars in a bath before bed because they help to em to sleep, this relaxed me so much I fell asleep in the bath for quite a length of time. When I got out my skin was smooth and moisturised

This is only available as far as I am aware around the valentine period so hopefully it will be released again this year as valentines day is closing in on us, this is £2.95 for 100g and it is well worth the money despite the smell not being noticeable to me the magic mushroom has a great purpose and it carries it out brilliantly and I am looking forward for this being back on the shelves.
