 ... as only half a bar is needed to create a good amount of bubbles. I crumbled half the bar into the bath and lots of bubbles were produced. Luckily the water didn't change colour - I didn't fancy bathing in a brown bath! In the bath, I could detect the warming and reviving scent of cinnamon and sandalwood although the smell wasn't as strong as when the bar was whole. The water felt soft too and when I got out my skin felt softer and I didn't have to use much moisturiser. I did feel refreshed and revived after my bath. W...more

I am trying to work my way through as many Lush bath products as I can. After discovering the Retro range last year, I began to order products from this range too. One of these was a bubble bar called Phoenix. Phoenix was chosen as a possible name for the new company to rise from the ashes of mail-order company Cosmetics To Go (this company was eventually named Lush!). The name is used to symbolise this revival and also as a symbol for the supposed effects of the bubble bar, which are to revive and refresh after illness - self-inflicted or otherwise!
