If you have never shopped with Lush before, you may be forgiven for being a little unsure as to who they are or what they do. Basically, Lush create hand made cosmetic products from only natural ingredients. They never test on animals and ensure that they only use suppliers who don't either. Many of their products are suitable for vegans.

Lush also support a variety of different charities and projects around the world, details of which can be found on the website, along with products and ingredients. You can also shop online and also locate your nearest store. If you do shop online, you will find that Lush are also committed to reducing unnecessary packaging and orders placed online will arrive packaged in popcorn instead of polystyrene.

The Lush website will also allow you to buy items from their "Retro" range, which is basically products from the past that customers still want to buy. There isn't room in the shops for them but you can still buy them online so can find lots of your old favourites and treat yourself.

Stepping Stones is a foot scrub and pumice, designed to leave you with soft and moisturised feet. The solid scrub is a mint green colour and shaped like a little foot. It weighs 65g, will cost you £2.65 and is suitable for vegans. Fans of Lush may recognise the fragrance from their You've Been Mangoed scent.

It is great to treat your feet all year round but of course, now that the warmer weather is here, we are all displaying our toes again in sandals and flip flops so it is especially important to ensure that they are in tip top condition.

To use, dampen the bar and scrub. When it becomes damp the bar softens and fizzes into a thick and exciting looking green paste so it is best to break the bar up (maybe into quarters) to prevent the whole thing getting wet. You don't need to use more than a quarter each time (this easily covers both feet) so this helps it last as long as possible too.

The fragrance is deliciously fruity like mango puree or ice cream. The scrub is rough enough to slough away dead skin but not so rough that it feels harsh or hurts your feet. After using, my feet feel refreshed and also much softer than they did before scrubbing.

I used this bar every 3 or 4 days and after it was finished, my feet were in much better condition than when I started. They feel soft and smooth and ready to face my flip flops again. If you want to make sure that your toes look and feel pampered then this bar is the perfect way to achieve it, 5 Dooyoo stars from me, well done Lush!
