Up until now I've done my best to avoid Lush's more glittery creations - they're a bit scary, quite frankly. Plus, I generally like to take baths just before going to sleep, so being sparkly isn't really a concern! But, maybe it was the Christmas spirit, or maybe it was just reading one too many review praising some of the new bath products, but I ended up with this - the glittering 'rock' that is the Sunnyside bubble bar. Bubble bars are a great deal softer (and less perfectly formed) than the more famous spherical bath ballistics (or 'bombs'), but I've always far preferred them. For a start, I like bubbles in my bath, and I also like the flexibility of being ... Read the complete review

Yes, another Lush review. Forgive me but I have only just started to enjoy selected Lush products due to a previous inbuilt aversion to the "greenwash" exhibited by companies that trade under the "green banner" such as Lush and the Body Shop etc. I have found several products that I really like from Lush including some of the solid shampoos and body butter bars which appear to have minimal nasties added to them. "Sunnyside" however would not come under the category of predominantly natural due to the addition of some chemicals and perfume. THE PRODUCT: "Sunnyside" is one of Lush's famous bubble ... Lush - Sunnyside Bubble bar This simple shaped very glittery orange and golden coloured bubble bar in a sort of rounded mound shape has been one I have avoided up till now as I didn't really fancy getting covered in glitter. I had enough glitter from Christmas cards when teaching as children just love glitter and the entire room gets covered ion it, you find it in the strangest places week s later. Glitter has never really been something I have been pulled towards but in the interest of trying all Lush's creations I had to buy this. WHAT LUSH SAY It is sold as a 100g bar for the price of £3.65 and Lush markets this as "Join us on the ... Read the complete review

I have used a few Lush bubble bars now and love how they make my skin feel soft and smooth, as well as give me lots of bubbles. I had yet to use a bubble bar that I didn't like or didn't really work and so when this glittery bar caught my eye in my local Lush store I wanted it straight away. Lush state this will turn your bath to shimmering liquid gold. Just as it appears in the image above, it is covered in gold glitter and so very messy when you pick it up. I then noticed on the sign that it states the bubble bar includes the sunny fragrance of tangerine, lemon and sweet wild orange... my favourite scents! I had already decided to buy it but a ... My fiancé bought me the Lush Sunnyside bubble bar for Christmas. I used it on Boxing Day and didn't intend to review it, however I'm lacking inspiration at the moment, so changed my mind! I had seen Sunnyside in the shops and online, but the fact it is quite heavily coated in glitter always put me off. Don't get me wrong I like a bit of sparkle - in fact I positively encourage it in some areas of my life - but I generally find it rather irritating in bath products, because once it's on the skin it can be difficult to get off. Still, I was grateful for the thought and appreciated that my fiancé had actually entered a Lush shop, which is something he normally ... Read the complete review
