I have been a huge fan of Lush for years now, and recently wanted to try something new, been way to obsessed with Sex Bomb! And I usually buy bath bombs, but when I saw The Comforter in my local Lush, I thought it looked and smelled amazing, but also is Lush's most popular product, so I'm hoping the other Lush fans have similar tastes to me! The Lush store assistant also mentioned that the product is preservative free, which can only be a bonus.
The Comforter is a 200g (roughly hand sized) in an oval shape. The product has an attractive colour scheme, white and a dark pink, with an eye-catching swirl pattern, which definitely would help sales of the product. The product is unpackaged, only in a paper bag to take home, which is a unique selling point. The product is also Vegan and the product wasn't tested on animals. Ingredients list is on the Lush website or on the printed sticker from the store.
The smell of The Comforter is really gorgeous, and now one of my favourite from Lush. It has a distinct smell of blackcurrant, and a general berry smell, which is a sweet smell, but not to overpowering. The berry scent is really unique, but very relaxing and calming, perfect for a stressing relieving bath.
To use the bubble bar, just crumble parts of it under the hot tap and it starts bubbling right away. I used about a quarter, maybe less, for my bath, and it gave me a bath full of bubbles and even turned my bath water pink! For best results use part way through running the bath. The scent of the product is released quickly, and fills the room with a relaxing scent of berries, which wasn't too overpowering either, just enough to be calming. The scent is quite appealing to most, and I would recommend for anyone. The Comforter also lasts throughout the bath, which is always a bonus!
The bubble bar is one of my favourite Lush products, it was calming and scent filled, but also the natural oils in the bubble bar were really good for the skin, making it feel soft and clean. Also the product should be suitable for all types of skin. Also the product lasts quite a while, especially if you use only abit per bath. Highly recommend!
