“ Brand: Lush / Type: Bath Melt „
This is one of those bubble bars which is perfect for those icy cold evenings when you just can't get warm. It is one of my staples from Lush and I have stashed many of them to get me through if Lush decide not to bring it back this Christmas.
Wee Harry is the bubble bar of many names - each Lush store was responsible for giving it a name as it was initially called "No Name"! Wee Harry is what alot of people call it as it was named after one of the lovely guys who works for Lush during a forum party. Lincolnshire Lush called it "The Lincolnshire Imp" and so forth. So don't be surprised if you see this bubble bar about but with a different name.
This bubble bar smells lovely. It is warm and festive. It is quite spicy and smells of cinnamon. It is very hard to decribe just how lovely this bubble bar is. When you crumble it under running water you are met with all these gorgeous warm Christmassy scents hitting you at once without being overpowering. The amount of bubbles it creates are fantastic too. Just heaps and heaps of fluffy white bubbles. It turns the bath water a deep red too which is just gorgeous.
It is quite a large ballistic and there is easily enough for 2-3 baths if you break it up.
It leaves your skin really soft and makes the bath water seem soft too which is an added bonus.
Wee Harry was only available last Christmas but I am hoping that he returns this Christmas. Everyone should get the chance to try him.
Wee Harry is a limited edition bubble bar from Lush. He comes as a 100g elf shape which is a decent size. If your new to Lush a bubble bar is a solid block which you crumble under running water. It fills your bath with beautifully scented bubbles, releases essential oils and moisturising ingredients in the water and can change the colour of the water too! I find you can get between 4-8 uses per bar.
Wee Harry when crumbled turns the water into a festive red - orange colour. It smells like Christmas Kisses bubble bar, which is cinnamon and spicy scented and very warm and festive. It left my skin soooo soft and smelling fabulous, even when I got out of the bath. I felt so christmassy using this product and felt it worked well with cinders bath ballastic for a truly christmas treat.
This is great value for money because it can be used sooo many times but such a shame it is limited edition for christmas only
I received one of these in my Lush goody bag which I got after Christmas, and finally got round to using it last night. It seems to go by different names in the Lush Times and in each individual shop: the one in Lush Times was, if I remember rightly, called Aebbee. The name changes are slightly confusing but do make this bath melt stand out as being a little bit different!
The melt smells very spicy, warm and festive; the scent is slightly similar to the 'Sexy Boy' massage bar but much more pleasant and less overpowering.
As the other reviewer said, Wee Harry is very large: I did contemplate using only half of him, but as I've got a few Lush ballistics and melts courtesy of the post-Christmas sales, I decided to be decadent and put all of him in. The water turned a lovely rich red, the same colour as the melt really, and I was surprised to see bubbles - normally the melts don't bubble so this was a nice touch.
I had a long, luxurious, spicy bath and felt rather festive afterwards, especially as I used my Nutmeg and Vanilla Body Butter from the Body Shop afterwards! Shame it's January.
Wee Harry is a festive bath melt and as such is no longer available. Perhaps you were lucky and got one in your goody bag, but if not the Christmas products will be back in a few months. I hope Wee Harry makes an appearance: I will definitely be snapping him up if he does!
For starters,Wee Harry is about DOUBLE the sized you'd expect from looking on the website/Lush times.
He's MASSIVE. About the size of my hand.
He looks so Christmassy,a bit like Santas hat.
A lot of the ones in the shop had missing eyes, which makes it easier to not feel guilty for crumbling him up,I guess!
He smells like Christmas - or,more specifically, like a hot Christmassy drink - spicy and warming.
Once you've crumbled bit of him into your bath,he starts making the water so inviting and warm looking and soft that you'll want to jump in and stay forever.
It's a relaxing scent that rises from the water,in a way,but in another way it's reviving and would possibly help to wake you up if it was in a shower scrub or something similar.
The water will feel luxurious and soft to the touch, and once you're out you'll notice he's left your skin soft, scented by his spices and such, and that you feel calm, collected and ready for the festive season!
