... key ingredient is the peppermint oil which is extracted from the mint plant. Lush describe the fragrance of a woody mint. The woody scent should come from the cedarwood oil. This would make it extra Christmas like but they haven't put enough in for the scent to come through. Using this soap makes me feel naturally cleansed and refreshed but I don't think it smells woody.
The soap lathers up very well but also disintegrates quickly. You mustn't get it too wet or you'll be chasing the dregs just to clean your armpits....more

Lush produces handmade soaps which are not tested on animals. It is meant to be an ethical shopping experience but I have heard rumours which imply otherwise. I'm afraid I don't know any details yet so I would advise research for those with concerns. The North Pole, white, soap has the scent of an old-fashioned sweetshop. It smells of peppermint, looks like snow and is so lush on my skin and to the senses that I want to go back for another slice. Lush claim that one slice is not enough. They are right in a positive way but also I can apply a negative meaning to that because the soap doesn't go very far but more on this later. There is also a pink soap option ...
