      A great gift

Wild Child was the first Lush gift I ever received, and the first time I'd ever tried Lush products. I'd always been scared of Lush before, as the products do seem quite random if you don't know what you're doing, and the sales staff, while lovely, can be a bit intimidating if you're not sure what you're looking for! However when my brother got me this for Christmas the year before last I completely fell in love with this and with Lush products, so it's fairly safe to say I have my brother to blame for my addiction!

It was my birthday in July and my friend got me this exact same gift as a present! It was actually very exciting because she sent it in the post but didn't put her name on it, so I just took this rather mysterious Lush package from the postman. I only worked out who it was when I got a panicky message from my friend checking I'd received it!

I wonder if it's telling that both my brother and my longstanding friend thought 'Wild Child' would be a suitable gift for me ;-P

At £17.50, Wild Child is one of Lush's mid-priced gifts. It contains five items and is according to Lush 'the perfect package for the party animal'. This image is upheld by the wrapping paper which is girly yet funky with hearts, flowers, butterflies and paint splashes in bright colours.

The items included in the gift set are as follows:

Yummy Yummy Yummy Shower Gel - Smells completely delicious, and feels moisturising, but doesn't lather up as well as I'd hoped. 4/5

Whipstick Lip Balm - Amazing, delicious chocolatey lip balm. 5/5

Up You Gets Emotibomb - Imaginative 'ballistic for the shower', designed to help you wake up in the morning. Smells lovely but not as powerful as I'd hoped. 3/5

Rock Star Soap - Pink vanilla sweetie scented soap. Apparently popular with the guys as well as the girls! Creamy and delicious. 5/5

A Sugar Babe Sugar Scrub - Ylang ylang and mimosa scented gentler alternative to the Sugar Scrub. Very effective and deliciously scented. 5/5

The first time I got this set it had a Flosty Gritter Bubble Bar inside, but this has since been replaced with A Sugar Babe. I've recently noticed that it has changed yet again: it's now described as a 'shower gift' and contains Happy Hippy shower gel in place of Yummy Yummy Yummy, Bubblegum lip scrub in place of Whipstick and Sweetie Pie shower jelly in place of A Sugar Babe.

It's actually more expensive to buy this gift set than to buy the items separately; however, as with every gift set you get a 10% off voucher to spend in Lush, so if you're savvy you could save even more money that way than if you just bought the separate products! Not forgetting the lovely packaging.

This is a really great gift for a sister or friend - trust me, I know! I really recommend it, and there's nothing to stop you buying it for yourself if you want to try all of the products included!

A great present for any female!

I received one of these gift sets for my birthday and it contained, Yummy Yummy Yummy shower cream, Whipstick lip balm, Up you get shower 'emotibomb' and rock star soap.

It came prettily wrapped with a pink bow, and was packaged with eco friendly popcorn, which although eco friendly, did stick to all the products and my clothes! This put me off a bit.

The up you get emotibomb was good in a morning shower and had a fresh fruit fragrance perfect for a wake up call. I did find that I had to avoid stepping on it though! The shower cream is a light pink colour and smelt nice, but did sting my eczema, so I decided not to use it and gave it to my sister. The lip balm moisturised my lips nicely and had a nice taste and feel, its very small though so does run out quickly. The pink rock star soap lasts for ages, and has a fruity fragrance and lathers up nicely.

I think this is a perfect gift for a girlie girl, and good value for money for Lush products. Avoid the sticky popcorn though!!
