You Snap the Whip was the first of Lush's infamous body butters that I actually got onto trying. And I haven't looked back. I don't particularly suffer from dry skin but this left my skin feeling incredibly soft and smelling gorgeous. The smell was the thing that really got my attention about this bar. It's a really strong Ribena-like blackcurrant and it's fantastic. It is, of course, purple. A really deep, dark purple verging on black, which looks great but will turn your skin blue in the shower! I've occasionally had problems washing it off, leaving me with greyish patches from the charcoal which had to be scratched off! I think that must have been a bar from a dodgy batch though, because it's only happened once. However it's always a pain to remove the black marks left on the bath after you get out. I try to remember to rinse all traces of the bar out while it's still wet but sometimes... oh well, it's worth it!
