The smell of this product is amazing and really leaves you feeling clean. I've got really sensitive skin and this doesn't cause any problems for me at all. ive used it constantly for a few months and I've not had any issue with dry skin or itchiness that many shower gel brands can cause. Its obviously marketed to men, my boyfriend has been using it for some time, but it smells so great that even though I'm a woman I use it anyway and this actually seems quite popular with women. The smell will stay on your skin for a long time after you step out the shower and you are left feeling really clean. You need to use quite a bit of it to work up a good lather even with the lynx manwasher tool which is a bit of a disadvantage but it's not a deal breaker. The price can vary a little depending on where you buy it from but mostly its good value for money, get the bigger bottles not smaller ones, it usually works out as a better price. The gel is a pretty purple colour and the bottle is easy to use. You don't have to squeeze it like an ex's neck to get the gel out the bottle so its pretty user friendly.
Overall, this is a really good shower gel with an amazing unisex smell. It's never caused issues with my sensitive skin and I would recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin too.
I LOVE THIS!!
Lynx consistently offers a fantastic range of products all equally pleasing but I found that this shower and bath gel was particularly pleasant. The smell is Just fantastic though I don't quite know how to describe it, Many have said it carries a slight essence to that similar to coconut though I'm not so sure. It is so unique yet such a lovely scent that will definitely make you stand out from a crowd and to be honest just smell really attractive!
Further more the scent lasts for quite a while unlike many other shower gel's where the scent just washes straight off leaving zero trace ( Almost like watching your money go down the drain!).
I have received many compliments after using this product of how "I smell charming" and others have enquired where I got this particular scent , I must admit I have hesitated to tell them it is simply Lynx.
So all in all, definitely worth the money!
Lynx has always been a mans product, I myself have always rated it highly for the price and quality. But just recently I was stumped!. Haven suffered with a dry scalp for months and never found a solution I thought I'd give the Lynx Excite shower gel a go haven been told by my sibling that he uses this and only this. I was amazed by the results after the first wash my head wasn't as itchy and I had a less dry scalp within a couple of weeks my dry scalp was no more!, If I had to pay £10-£20 for this I would and I will never use a different one, and the smell is just gorgeous definitely 100% recommend :D, may I just point out that I am indeed a female so ladies give it a whirl and I'm sure you'll be amazed as I was :)
The Lynx excite shower gel has been part of my daily life ever since it first came in around 2011. I have been using other versions in the past, however the Lynx excite beats it all to it!! I must admit, it was a relief that Lynx has produced extra large versions of those too :)
The smell of it is one of the main factors why i have been using it for a long time, and also why a lot of women have started to buy them. The sweet feminine smelling fragrance ensures a pleasant time in the shower.
Not only does it smell nice in the shower, the smell actually stays on your skin throughout the day.
The shower gel itself is purple, and it lathers well with water so you do not really need too much of it.
i would highly recommend this product to all men that want to smell nice and feel fresh throughout.....the smell is very attractive :)
I like the Lynx shower gels and find they are really good value for money and they also smell very nice too. They are cheap to buy and don't cost a lot of money and are worthwhile purchases.
It comes housed in a black plastic bottle which has a press down kind of top so no top to lose in the shower. The liquid is rich and not a runny consistency and is smooth and soft texture. It is a purple colour and glossy look.
It has a nice smell and smells of a masculine perfume smell which is suitable, smells fresh too. I like it because it lathers up really well indeed without having to use too much of the liquid, so using a small amount means a little of it goes a long way and the bottle lasts for a long time so it is good value for money.
It foams well too, creates a lot of bubbles and I can smell the fragrance while I am showering. It does leave a smell on my skin after I have dried myself with a towel. When I sniff my skin to test the smell I can smell it immediately my skin has dried and it is rather nice and masculine. Can also smell it some time later too so it does have a lasting smell on the skin.
When it soaps up while using it, it slides across my skin very well indeed and feels soft and smooth. The gels texture means I can shower really quickly in the mornings when time is an issue and I need to shower before work. It is a refreshing gel which wakes me up in the mornings. Is also a nice one to shower with in the evenings after work and smells just as refreshing at this time of the day.
Has not caused irritations because it isn't a harsh liquid gel it is a mild one which I do think would be a good gel to try if you do have sensitive skin.
Some of my older grandson's who have hit puberty have used this gel and they quite like it and I know they do because they use my shower gel quite a lot when they shower at my home at the weekend or during the week after school. Shows it is a good one which the younger men like as much as older men like myself. Suitable for all age groups.
I will buy it again in the future and for a 250ml bottle I only paid £2.20 for it and I think it is a good price for the work it does for washing the body. A cheap price for a good shower gel. Well worth the money indeed I would say.
I can see why it is called Excite because it is an exciting shower gel to use for both morning and night time showers and any time of the day for that matter.
I will buy it again sometime soon because I like it quite a lot and it comes highly recommended.
I rate it 5 stars.
I bought this product because it looked extremely feminine. Lynx is usually a male aimed brand, but a lot of women also buy it too. The design on the product is what lured me in and after smelling it the scent also drawed me in. The only male lynx that I like uncontrollably apart from the women's attract is the men's chocolate. The design on this product is purple and silver and upon first look you would think it is for women. I really enjoy the design of this product also. It is a curvy design and the lid looks very sporty.
The product is easy enough to use. You press down on one side of the silver lip and the other pops up and you can pour a little out. I say a little because a little goes a long way. Lynx lathers really well and the scent is still on your skin hours after using it. More to the point you don't even have to use body spray afterwards, but maybe a little deodorant to stop unwanted scents. The product smells after shave like but also sweet at the same time. That is why I really enjoyed it.
The slogan to this product is 'even angels will fall.' I think myself this is extremely cheesy, but what isn't about lynx. They advertise it like it's the only way a man can get a woman. Which, I'm hoping men don't believe. If a man actually goes out and buys this product in aid of getting a date with a woman I think that man needs to get back into society. This product smells nice but it is not life changing. I think the way they advertise this product is a little dramatic. The fact the product is also called 'excite' would connote that women would get excited upon the scent of this product and therefore fall at a mans feet. I see no men falling at my feet when I use it.
Putting aside the way it marketed I think this product is really nice though a little expensive. However, at Christmas you can usually get this product in gift sets for around £5. Which, seems a decent sized price. I would recommend this to both sexes.
I have done a fair few reviews on shower gels over the years I have been reviewing on Dooyoo and the majority of those reviews have been on Lynx products. Lynx Excite is yet another one which I have used and here is my review of this shower gel. Lynx Excite was released in 2011 and has received widespread advertising with several campaigns on TV and elsewhere which seems to have done well in publicising the shower gel. It's one of the nicest recent shower gels from Lynx and is a very solid rival to similarly priced shower gels from the competition. So enough of the Introduction and onto the actual shower gel. Here are my thoughts.
This is a lovely smelling shower gel that is one of the nicest of the more recent shower gels in the Lynx range. The shower gel has a lovely scent which is subtle and leaves a lovely smell. The purple gel combines well with the water to create a decent lather. The shower gel itself has a scent that has a lovely oriental mixture of fresh green accords and woody base notes that develop throughout the day. I like the way the shower gel feels on the skin and also the way the scent lingers on your body and combines with a good deodorant, particularly the Lynx Excite deodorant or another one of the Lynx range but it works well with some different deodorants too so don't be restricted to just Lynx ones if you use this one. It also does a job with cleaning your hair if you don't have a shampoo around.
As usual you will be able to find the deodorant for around £2-3 in most places that sell it and there are plenty of Lynx deals about like buy one get one free or combined offers with other brands. This is a very nice shower gel which has a lovely scent and combines that with a good lather which means you don't need too much which of course lengthens the shelf life of the shower gel. I'd recommend it to those men who like a nice fragrance that stands out and a cleaning ability that works well. This is ideal for the younger male and I believe that represents the main customer of this shower gel. So all in all this is a very good shower gel that represents good value and is a strong product all round. Give it a try.
To say that I was intrigued the first time I spotted a bottle of Lynx Excite was a bit of an understatement. My dictionary defines the word 'excite' as "To rouse an emotional response" and I couldn't help but wonder whether this shower gel would accomplish this, or whether it would be another shoddy marketing ploy from the company that gave us "The Lynx Effect!"
Needless to say this shower gel did not elicit any genuine excitement in the same way that it didn't force Vicky to mindlessly attack me. Nevertheless it remained a pleasant shower gel that performed the task it was actually expected to do admirably!
Lynx excite is once again packaged in a bold black bottle with stylish grooves and an easily clicked grey cap on the lid. Clicking the cap releases a very pleasant berry scent with a surprisingly strong overture of coconut.
With the slightest squeeze of the bottle a thin gel like product drizzles out in a rich grape purple colour that immediately made it stand out from its peers. After pouring the smallest sample onto a body scrub it lathered up incredibly and successfully covered me from head to toe. As a I scrubbed I couldn't help but notice that the coconut scent became ever more prominent as it eased me into the day ahead.
After washing off I found that my skin had the merest hint of a coconut smell, and my whole body felt fresh and revitalised. With a little experimentation I was able to discover that this Lynx works just as well when applied directly to the hands, and so will be a suitable gel for baths and showers alike.
As with all Lynx gels the initial RRP of £2.99 can be a bit of a sting, but this is a gel worth getting in a large bottle for £3.05 as you will be more than happy with the results. It also seems to be on offer with frightening regularity (why even mark up the RRP???) and so is well worth picking up wherever you happen to find it.
