Lynx Fever Shower Gel
Advantages: Lovely fragrance and works so well!
Disadvantages: Too butch for us ladies to pinch!
During my time on Dooyoo I have wrote rather alot of reviews on bath and shower products though not very many 'manly' reviews of course cos I'm a feminine girl after-all!
However from time to time I make slip ups I'm the first to admit! Living in a house with other people I tend to keep my bath and shower products stashed in my bedroom for safe keeping in a drawer which means that from time to time I'll get soggy in the shower before I notice that I have forgotten to take something in I needed to use and end up reaching for someone else's products to 'borrow' lol!
In the case of this product I have actually been caught out on more than a couple of occasions and resorted to using it as it turns up quite regular in my bathroom kind courtesy of my Step-Father who buys it as he rather likes it.
Now me, I like my ladies stuff of course but I sleep alone and as far as I'm concerned I'm only interested in my cleanliness when I have a shower ready for bed so am not bothered if I smell like Arthur opposed to Martha in all all honesty!
250ml see-through plastic bottle with integrated bumps to the side for easy to use handling. You get the gel out of a flip top black plastic top which conceals a small hole and on the front there is an orange and black label on there and on that in white, yellow and silver writing I'm told it is Lynx 'Fever', Brazilian Hot Mud & Red Dragonfruit Extract Shower Gel. On the back label of the bottle other information includes being told a bit about the product, cautions are listed, size and ingredients are also stated and contact details for Unilever (the manufacturer of the product) are given. Nice enough masculine bottle and I do like the grip feature to the edges of the bottle for ease of handling of course!
A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Bottle:
Lynx Fever, gets you into the Samba spirit with Brazilian Hot Mud and Red Dragonfruit extract. Lynx Fever, get warmed up for action!
Well all you need of this thick orange, smooth gel is a blob applied to a damp/wet body and it lathers up into rather thick and luxurious feeling foamy bubbles that feel really hydrating on contact with the skin.
The smell of this really is very manly indeed and I love the rich aftershave fragrance that this possesses and out of all the Lynx shower gels I have ever had a whiff off I really do like this one! It smells a little sweet in a rich fruity way with a really hefty smell of pepper bunged in it for good measure! It's just a really strong but very natural fragrance really and it's so fresh and zingy!
As I have said it lathers up easy, feels great on the skin and it does rinse off ever so easily leaving no residue on the skin at all. I pat myself dry of course and that is it.....jobs done!
The fragrance of this on the skin lingers a good few hours and it really does smell wonderful but more importantly I find this highly cleansing and hydrating and in a none oily way! I recomend this to mucky pups as well and find it really, really cleaning. I got covered in grease, dirt and grime the other day and this really cleaned me up superfast and more so than most female friendly shower gels.
I like this but personally I wouldn't make it a habit to use it due to it's unfeminine fragrance but I like it for the guys this one and recomend it highly to them! I'm sure you'll have the ladies flocking and your skin glowing and healthy in no time guys!
Available in all good supermarkets and chemists etc and expect to pay about £2.29 a bottle.
Summary: Love the Lynx effect!
