A so so but nothing to rave about bath product!

Recently on a shopping trip to Bristol I popped into a Marks & Spencers with my mate Liz. Out Christmas shopping and needing a few bits and pieces for myself too I was pleased to see that the Marks 'Essential' toiletries that are usually a pound a bottle were on offer to buy one for a pound and get another half price which meant I got loads of new bath and body products as two only cost me £1.50 and it seemed an ideal time to stock up plus get a few things for other people as little stocking fillers!

      The packaging:

The bottle of this one is see through plastic with a matching lid/cap to the top of it and on the front of it we are told that it is Essential Extracts Coconut Bath milk and that the size of it is 500ml and there is a photograph of a coconut on there. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, the ingredients are listed and contact details for Marks & Spencers are given. This is a cheap looking bottle really as are all of the 'Essential' products within this range but its informative enough and functional too to be fair to it.

      The Coconut Milk itself:

Well the coconut milk is actually a transparent gel more than a milk or anything like that! It is only fragranced of coconuts and nothing else with a slight sweetness to it but it is an identifiable fragrance this and you simply need a small blob under running taps and you get a little thick and rich white foam that lingers in the tub for over a good hour (as I take ages in the bath so know this lol).

The fragrance in my opinion is unisex and nicely blended and not one bit harsh and my water was soft enough though I did find it odd its referred to as a milk but hey ho it softens the water gently and relaxes the mind somewhat so never mind that!

Once I have dried off my skin feels smooth and supple enough though not heavily moisturised or anything like that and I've had no adverse skin reactions with using this at all. The only niggle I do have with this product is that although the initial fragrance on my skin is nice enough it doesn't linger above an hour sadly!

All in all this is an economy offering from Marks And Spencers and although I can't rave about it is pleasant enough and at a pound a bottle (or at the moment on offer with any two 'Essential' products only being £1.50) its worth a go for all coconut fans out there!

Only available from Marks & Spencers.
