      Not great!

I get through an awful lot of bath products in my flat as I don't have a shower. Because of this I am often on the look out for nice bath products but reasonable priced ones at the same time and tend to hunt out well known ones on offer most of the time!

However the other day I found myself in a huge Marks & Spencer's store in Bristol. I was under the impression before looking that day in the store that everything would be rather over priced for someone on a budget like me however I got a right shock looking around the place, I didn't think anything was overpriced and now its deffo on my hit list to mooch in when I go shopping!

I was surprised to see toiletries within the store, even more so an 'Essential; range which is pretty much Marks & Spencer's products, discreetly labelled and in very basic packaging at a pound each but at the time I stocked up on loads of smellies they were also on offer of buy one get one half price which meant toiletry wise I got 2 things for a mere £1.50, delighted...I spent an absolute fortune thinking it was too much of a good deal to pass by lol.

I chose this Grapefruit cream bath because I struggle with my energy levels and thought that this might be slightly invigorating and a bit of a change from the florals that I usually opt for!

      The Packaging:

Well like I have already stated this range comes very basically packaged. The cream bath comes in a see through slightly squeezy plastic bottle with a frosted white screw on/off lid/cap to the top of it and on the front of it we are told that it is Essential Extracts Grapefruit Cream Bath and there is a photograph of a grapefruit on there and we are told that the weight of the product is 500ml. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a little bit about the product and how to use it, the ingredients are listed and contact details for Marks & Spencer's are given. It's a functional bottle and informative enough this though does look very basic and a little cheap and doesn't stick out that it's a Marks product at al!

      Using It:

Well the cream bath is yellow in colour and all you need of it is a blob or two and it has a creamy look to it with a bit of a shimmer. When pouring it under running taps it does have a distinctive fragrance of grapefruit to it though for me that fragrance is a little fake smelling and a little too sweet however I found this to not colour my water at all and actually only leave a small hint of fragrance behind itself.

This did give off a bit of foam which lasted over an hour in my long soak, the fragrance was simply ok but not as invigorating as I thought it might be and didn't make my water any softer or anything like that the only thing was that when I got out of the bath and dried myself off I wasn't left with greasy or dry skin!

The fragrance of this disappeared off my skin within half an hour, though I did feel cleaner for my bath. I wasn't thrilled with this one at all sadly and wouldn't purchase it again though no harm came to me or my skin for bathing in this!

Only available in Mark & Spencer's stores sadly I won't be repurchasing this one!
