Every time my son goes for a bath he always wants lots of bubbles so when I spotted this matey bubble bath in tesco I had to buy it to see if it was still as good as it used to be when I was a kid and to my surprise it was! Usually when I come across something which I haven't had for a while I buy it only to discover it has been altered and does not seem as good as it was previously but with these bubbles they seem exactly the same apart from the bottle as the design has changed slightly. It costs £1.75 for a 500ml bottle from tesco and this lasts for ages as you only need a small amount to make loads of bubbles.

The bottle is shaped like a sailor and therefore the design on the bottle is that of a cartoon sailor with the screw top lid being his hat. The bubble bath is very mild and features a hypo-allergenic and skin ph neutral formula which makes it more suitable and safe for use with children. The consistency is quite runny so care must be taken when pouring into the bath so that you don't pour in too much and end up with an over flow of bubbles! The first time I poured some into my sons bath I did just that and ended up with more bubbles than water in it but my son found this hilarious and was blowing then everywhere!

The directions are very straight forward and simple as all you need to do is pour some of the bubble bath out next to the water which you are running and mix it about with your hands to help create more bubbles. If any of the bubbles get into eyes you must rinse thoroughly with clean water. When the bottle is empty it is fully recyclable and can also be used as a toy but it must be cleaned thoroughly before hand.

Overall I think these are great bubbles which provide lots of fun for bath time and are sensitive to children's skin. Definitely recommend them.
