      Worth a go!

When it comes to buying children's toiletries I just can't help myself! I love child friendly fragrances and the gentleness they provide on my really sensitive skin. This particular product was reduced in a bargain bin type of thing in Boots for 50p and I loved what I thought was the shape of a penguin bottle (actually it's meant to be an otter lol) and when I got home and googled the product so that I could add the link on here I found out that this usually retails around the £5.00 mark! What a bargain eh and I was only upset I didn't clear the shelves of this whilst I had the chance to! The Packaging.... Bright orange plastic and rounded in shape bottle with little 'feet' the the bottom and marks raised on the bottle to give the appearance it's an animal. On the middle of the bottle there is a light orange label on there and on that I'm told it is MethodKid Squeaky Green 3-in-1 Shampoo that is a body wash, shampoo + conditioner, that it is 99% plant derived, paediatrician tested and is hypo-allergenic. At the bottom of the bottle size is stated (295ml). On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed as are contact details for MethodKid and finally there is bar-code on there. Nice enough simple packaging and the first time you use the product you simply pull out the clear 'plug' and discard that and the liquid safely stays inside as it's a bit bunged up with plastic so easy to use if using it on the kids! A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Bottle.... Squeaky clean, fuzzy peach splashy fun to gently cleanse delicate skin and keep your little one soft and sweet smelling. To use: squirt, work to a lather, clean, rinse. Me Using It.... The smell of this one really has to be sniffed at! It's flipping gorgeous! Sweet and peachy, not too sweet it seems to me to have a slight waft of coconuts to it making it rich and layered and slightly exotic to my nasal passages. The liquid is a light peach in colour with a slightly shimmery, creamy look to it and you simply squirt a little onto you hand, scrunchy, sponge, flannel...whatever really and it lathers up great and quickly, is suitable for shaving with (adults only of course!) and it's incredibly soft, gentle and cleansing on the skin. It's a joy to use, a little goes a long way and when your finished it rinses away brilliantly and with no effort at all and leaves skin softened, healthy and clean. However the smell doesn't last on the skin almost as soon as you've dried off....it's gone sadly. However you still feel fresh and clean enough and skin is left in good condition and nicely hydrated. Of course you can use this on hair and that was one thing I was wary of doing to be honest. I find I need decent shampoos and conditioners on my frizzy hair or it's impossible to get it looking right.... however this once again, lathered up quickly and I washed my hair through twice with it when it hurry to go out and in the shower and didn't use a separate conditioner and not only did my hair feel refreshed, look clean and smell wonderful (and that smell did last all day) my hair really was softened, smooth and easy to style. Overall.... If I had kids I would have no issue at all using this on their delicate skin. It''s cleansing and smells wonderful in use sadly though doesn't hold it's smell but to be fair it still leave the feeling of clean behind it. For me it left my skin in a great glowing condition and is nice to use occasionally on my hair. Not sure it's worth a fiver (ish) a bottle, but it certainly would be if that amazing fragrance would stay put and maybe even a couple quid more in my opinion lol. I bought mine in Boots as I stated earlier but keep your eyes open for this and do look at purchasing it online at bargain prices.
