I have been a fan of Molton Brown for many years. They are renowned for good quality make up, skin care, body and grooming products - all of which are produced in the UK.
I simply love Molton Brown's Intoxicating davana blossom foaming bath oil, described as luxurious blend of Indian davana blossom, grapeseed, raspberry, blackseed and starflower oils.
The bath oil comes in a very sophisticated maroon coloured glass bottle with a silver cap and the usual bobbles around the top of the bottle that Molton Brown use on the majority of their products. The bottle looks great on the bathroom shelf, in fact it almost to nice to open.
When opened you are immediately hit with the gorgeous aroma, which I can only liken to those 'parma violet' sweets of old. When poured into a running bath the oil magically turns into a rich luxurious foam and the smell intensifies leving the whole bathroom filled with its divine and intoxicating aroma.
After using this product my skin was left feeling clean, moisturised and smelling great.
This bath oil is just the thing for when you are feeling in need of a little luxury, pampering or me time, just lie back relax and let it work it's magic. OK so at £40 for a 300ml bottle it is expensive but you really will find a little goes a long way...
If you only allow yourself one little luxury this month I definitely recommend giving this a go.
I got lots of Molton Brown stuff for Christmas from my granny. Curiously, I had never heard of the make before, so was surprised to see they did so many products. I also thought I was well up on my brands, so shows how much I know!
The first thing I noticed about all their products was the sophisticated packaging. Even the shower gel looked dead posh, so I panicked and realised my granny must have spent a small fortune on all these bits! A bit of googling and I discovered that the range was not cheap, but not quite as expensive as I had first thought.
This is a rather sensual product, for special moments in the bathtub. It will work better in a bath rather than a shower, as the idea is to run it under running water and let it envelope your bath water. It comes in a sleek and sexy maroon bottle which you will want to keep petting! Simply pour a drop into the bath and allow to settle.
It contains essential oils which help soothe irritable skin conditions and help leave your skin feeling softer and refined. There are subtle grape extracts which are renowned for skin soothing properties and the davana oils are delicate and nourishing.
The smells it gives off are wonderful and sensual. You will want to indulge for hours, soaking up the atmosphere. A hazy fresh aroma will linger and the fruity essences will calm and compose you.
It left me feeling most relaxed and the skin felt good after too. Not something to use every night, but it would suffice a couple of times a week as a special treat. A bottle can cost about five pounds and should last you about two months. Worth owing for the bottle alone, which makes any bathroom look posher!
