      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A beautifully fragranced bath and shower gel, which sadly didn't live up to my expectations

As I am sure you are aware, I absolutely adore toiletries and at Christmas time I was presented with a number of bottles of shower and bath gel belonging to the Nirvana Spa range. My previous experience with their products has been somewhat mixed, as whilst their appearance and aroma is absolutely stunning, the fragrance would vanish when it make contact with the water. Amongst my various goodies was a 100ml bottle of Blueberry Cream Pie Shower and Bath Gel, which was contained within a gift set and this review discusses my experience with using the product.

      APPEARANCE OF THE PRODUCT

Identical to that of the larger version, the 100ml bottle of shower and bath gel is presented to us in a sturdy plastic opaque bottle, which enables us to see the pale blue/purple contents. I always consider the bold black text on N-Spa's products to be rather eye-catching, as there is minimal information other than a short quote that always appears directly below the name of the product.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH USING BLUEBERRY CREAM PIE

The easy to open flip top lid is a huge bonus, particularly when I'm showering, as I can flip it open with one hand whilst receiving the product in the other. The fragrance of blueberry cream pie is exactly what I expected and that is a very refreshing yet natural aroma of blueberries, which would make my mouth water each time I used the gel. The product is easily dispensed onto my net body polisher, which is my preferred method as opposed to a sponge or flannel, as it enables my shower and bath products to last much longer. The gel is of a reasonable consistency and perhaps slightly thick, but it quickly lathers into rich bubbles. I was somewhat confused as to why this product is described as a gel, as I would describe its' consistency as a rich cream, which sounds more luxurious than a plain old gel.

The product is easily applied to the skin and cleanses thoroughly whilst effectively removing any dirt and impurities. Unfortunately, the beautifully refreshing blueberry aroma is not so evident when the gel is dispensed from the bottle, which was really disappointing and I can only describe it as subtle. I am of the opinion that whilst the gel is effective it is suitable for daily use as it is mild and gentle. It was easily rinsed away without leaving any sticky traces of residue, which is often the case with some shower and bathing products.

My experience with using the gel in the bath was much more favourable than in the shower, as only a few squirts were required to create a mountain of beautiful fluffy bubbles. Whilst the bubbles rapidly vanish with many bath products I was pleased that the majority stayed with me whilst I lay relaxing in the bath. It is often the case that when soap is introduced to the water that you hear that delicate popping sound, but the bubbles were here to stay. Although my skin felt refreshed and offered a brighter radiant appearance, which I believe was due to my net body polisher, I was extremely disappointed that the fragrance had not transferred to my skin, which always seems to be the case with N-Spa products. Whilst their range of products always look stunning due to their vivid colours and eye-catching packaging, I really feel the quality of the contents need to be considerably improved. As for rating this product, I have to say that I did enjoy using it, but unfortunately it receives only 3 stars from me, as it is not something I would purchase either for myself or a gift for somebody.

      INGREDIENTS AND OTHER INFORMATION

As the list of ingredients is considerably lengthy I do not intend copying them into my review. However, I can confirm that I suffered no adverse reactions when using. The gel should be used within 12 months of opening and the bottle can be recycled once empty.

      PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

All of my N-Spa products have been purchased in Asda where a 500 ml bottle will cost you £3.00 although the range is often on offer.

I hope you found my review useful and would thank you for reading.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Fantastic product, great for my bath times!

I got this in a set for Christmas as I'm a big beauty products as all my friends and family knows so when it comes to birthdays and Christmas I get very excited!

I'm not to sure where the set was purchased, but I am only able to find them being sold separately in Asda for £3 for 500ml which I think is very reasonably priced as they tend to last me a long time. There are four other bath/shower gels available which are:
        * Apple and Mint crunch
        * Fruit coconut ice-cream
        * Raspberry milkshake
        * Lemon souffle
        All 100ml bottles for £1.42

There are other products available in the range such as body lotions, hair and body washes and a lovely smelling bath syrup.

In the set I received the blueberry cream pie, raspberry milkshake and the lemon souffle and let me tell you they all smell divine!

The bath/shower gel comes in a see through plastic bottle with a black round lid. On the front of the bottle it has the of the product in big bold black writing. Underneath it has a lovely quote which is very appealing

The Quote - "Inspiration" said the wise man "springs from blue skies and a purple patch. "sitting under the stars at midnight you might see the indigo light and discover the answer in a velvet smooth exterior. And perhaps... when daylight comes we shall taste vitality in a delicious burst of juicy superberry inside". The colour of the gel is a lovely bluey purple colour which is gorgeous and definitely represents the beautiful smell inside!

The directions of use are pretty straight forward, if your using in the bath the pour underneath running water and if your using as a shower gel massage into your body and rinse. Very quick, easy and simple!

I absolutely adore this one and the reason I decided to do a review on this particular one is because its my favourite, I love the other ones don't get me wrong they all smell amazing, but this one particularly really tickled my fancy and I just can't get enough of it! I prefer to use this in the bath as I tend to find it more of a bubble bath consistency rather than a gel and as I don't have baths very often, I find its a lovely little treat for when I do. The smell is gorgeous, very very fruity so the name fits perfectly.

I find that this leaves my skin feeling very smooth, silky and smelling gorgeous. Even after having a bath I can the fruitiness from the bottom of my stairs, I do find that it tend to find that the scent leaves my skin really quickly which I am pretty gutted about, but I don't find a massive deal as I always use moisturiser after. I find using it in the bath is so relaxing even if it is only a quick one, I have used this in the shower and pour some on to my shower puff and massaged it into my body, but I felt like because I was washing I didn't get to enjoy it as much so I started to use it only for bath times.

Overall this product is absolutely gorgeous, smells great and leaves my skin feeling smooth, fresh and clean without any sign or irritating which I do tend to get with a lot of products. The price is also very reasonable as the quality is excellent and always lasts me ages.

a gorgeous smelling bath gel/ cream

Ok so I must confess that I have a serious addiction with bath and beauty products and its alot of you that are now to blame lol (well thats what I tell my husband anyway) I am always on the look out for new and different products to buy. So after reading a few reviews on this product I picked this up in Asda to try I had to quickly dash round and pick this up and hide it in the trolley as I drive my husband mad with my constant impulse buying.

I have only found these products in Asda for some reason and I have got the 500ml bottle on special offer at the price of £2.00 it is normally priced at £3.00. So I thought that this was a bargain.

Some of the other products in this range are as follows:

n spa very bubbly hair and body wash £2.50
n spa chocolate and cranberry bath syrup £3.00

        these are 500ml bottles

n spa apple and mint crunch shower and bath gel (on offer at £1.00 normally £1.42)
n spa fruit coconut ice cream bath and shower gel ( on offer at £1.00 normally £1.42)
n spa fruit raspberry milkshake shower and bath gel (on offer at £1.00 normally £1.42)
n spa fruit lemmon souffle shower and bath gel (on offer at £1.00 normally £1.42)

these are all 100 ml bottles and there are also body moiturisers and other creams within this range. I dont know why they all seem to be a different price but I think I may try a few more out.

This is a clear round bottle that says blueberry in black bold writing and underneath says cream pie shower and bath gel.
It does somewhat confuse me as to why its called a cream pie yet on the next sentence it says bath gel? I would of thought this was quite a contradiction, especially as its clearly not the consistency of a gel.

It has quite an appealing quote on the front that all these products in this range seem to have and it is as follows:

"Inspiration" said the wise man "springs from blue skies and a purple patch. "sitting under the stars at midnight you might see the indigo light and discover the answer in a velvet smooth exterior. And perhaps... when daylight comes we shall taste vitality in a delicious burst of juicy superberry inside".

On the reverse it says " take the simple pleasure of the fruit, add the wisdom of Nirvana, make time in your day and turn your bathroom into a blissfil spa.

As with most bath/shower products the directions of use are pretty standard as to pour under running water if you use this as a bubble bath and for a shower gel apply to wet body and massage into skin and rinse, its as simple as that.

It does state not to eat this product as it isnt a food product. I found this quite amusing as considering its a bubble bath and IN the bath section im quite sure we are all aware NOT to eat this product however tempting this may be. I dont know whats the world coming to lol.

I shall not list all the ingredients as im sure your not interested and as your not eating it im sure your not really worried about whats in your bubble bath.

It does list their address if you want to get in touch with them and they also list their website address which is: www.nirvanaspa.co.uk

this product was made in the uk.

Ok so because I am greedy I wanted to use this as a bubble bath and shower gel (cream) as I cant stand mixing different scents and smells in my bath.
This has a easy black lid that you just flip up and then pour out, I did have a quick sniff before I poured it in and the smell was simply amazing!!! the smell of blueberries just filled my wonderful smell sensation and I just wanted to keep smelling it.

As you might of guessed this is a gorgeous creamy purple colour and it really does look very creamy. As I poured it out with ease I was in blueberry heaven and the scent just quickly filled up my bathroom with the smell. This actually did smell good enough to eat it really is a realistic smell of bluberries.
I only needed to pour a little bit out as it goes a long way and really foams up well and creates loads of bubbles, which I really love!! you cant beat a good old bubble bath.

I then poured a little bit onto my shower puff to wash with to, I really loved rubbing this into me as it is a nice creamy lather and you can smell it all over your body and you really start to feel so clean using this.
Well I can definatly say that I smelt good enough to eat lol.
As soon as I had washed with this my skin felt smooth and totally refreshed and the scent did stay on my body throughout my bath experience.

The bath bubbles did also stay throughout my whole bath which was half an hour.
I always find it a pain getting rid of bubble after my bath as after my bath I want to clean the bath and this is hard with alot of bubbles around. This probaly sounds strange but I use a cheap soap swoshed around in the bath to get rid of the bubbles as soap dissolves them and then I can clean my bath easily.

After I had got out the bath the smell lingered in the bathroom but sadly left my skin after about an hour which was a shame. Although my skin was left feeling smoth and silky so I felt I didnt need to moisturise as this had freshend up my skin so to speak.

This has lasted me about 2 weeks which I think is good value for money, although I do alternate my bubble baths and also I have used this on my daughter who also loves the smell.

This really is good enough to eat and smells gorgeous and I will be buying it again. I reccomend you to go out and try it as you wont be disspointed. I will be rating this a full 5 stars as the only tiny grumble I have is that the smell doesnt linger on my skin for long but I can live with this as afterall it is a bubble bath and not a body lotion.

so do add it onto your list on your next asda trip.

          Another Fantastic N-Spa Shower Gel

I have absolutely tonnes of these little N-Spa bottles in my bathroom these days - not bad since I didnt even try the range until about a month ago hehe - it has replaced my Lush addiction! But there were certain items from this brand that Ive wanted to buy and try out for ages this 'Blueberry Cream Pie Shower Gel' was one of them. I believe this is the first N-Spa product I ever read about and I just wanted to try it ever since so you can imagine how happy I was when I discovered this on the bathroom shelf about a week ago.As soon as I saw the bottle I started using it and Im happy to say I have been ever since - definitely one of my favourites from the range so far - its gorgeous!

          Useful Information:
          Price: 500ml bottle - £4.50
Stockists: ASDA & The Nirvana Spa website.
Other Info: This bath syrup is available in MANY other scents - Gingerbread Latte, Angel Cake, Vanilla Creme Brulee & Hot Butter Fudge- just to name a few. So I think everyone will be able to find a flavour to suit their tastes from this range - and I think they all cost the same amount.

This product comes in a small 100ml bottle [the one I own is 100ml as I got it as part of a set] which is totally transparent through which you can clearly see the product inside - which is a light blue/lilac colour and appears to be very creamy. At the top of the bottle is a small black cap that can be flipped open and shut OR taken off all together if you want to get more out of the bottle quicker - I prefer to do it the first way though as you dont waste any using it like that. On the front and back of the bottle is all the information you could need - directions for use, shelf life, ingredients etc and there is also an email address and street address to write to should you any more questions on the product. The thing I like about the little bottle I own is that it is travel suitable so if your going on holiday soon and going by plane these products might be good for you as you can take them without worrying about them exploding!!

To use this product is really simple as its the same way you'd use ay bubble bath - simply pour a small amount into warm water OR underneath the tap whilst its running and then your bath should be filled with thousands of bubbles and a gorgeous scent. Or you can use this as a normal shower gel - lather it up and then wash yourself from head to toe with this - Ive used it both ways and it works just as well either way - use it both ways for maximum results. This turns the bath a gorgeous sky blue colour that looks very, very relaxing and it produces tonnes of bubbles - that stay in the bath the whole time and dont pop in about 5 minutes. This also lathers up really well when your using it as a shower gel - so using it either way will work just as well and provide the exact same results. You can use this in a rush in the shower or for a more relaxing soak in the tub. This makes the water feel amazing and I knew from that it would make my skin feel the same.

The smell of N-Spa products in my opinion is always worth mentioning because most of the time they smell amazing and Im happy to say this one is no different - its one of the best Ive tried so far. The smell of this reminds me a bit of a mixture of blueberrys and Hubba Bubba chewing gum - now that doesnt sound like much, or that it would be very nice but believe me this is a gorgeous fragrance. The only iffy thing about this is it doesnt smell as fresh or 'proper' as other N-Spa scents - this one smells slightly synthetic to me and I would have liked it to be a bit more real - its still a lovely scent though. The scent of this will linger all the time your in the bath and on your skin for even longer so if you like the fragrance this one is amazing because it really sticks around. Its quite sweet though so it wont be for everyone - try before you buy.

The results from this one are brilliant as well. As the texture of this one is more creamy than most it delivers intense moisture to your skin and makes it feel softer and smoother straight away - even from the first use. I dotn feel as if I need to apply extra lotion after bathing/washing with this - the only reason I do is because I also own the matching body butter. Its a fantastic product that will give you better smelling, looking and feeling skin - oh and most importanly my skin feels really clean after Ive used this - which lets face it is the main thing. Highly recommended - 4*'s from me - one knocked off for the slightly synthetc smell.

          Thanks For Reading.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

Another great product from the N-Spa range.

As I have mentioned before in my reviews I love the N-spa range, and so far I haven't been disappointed by any of the products I have tried before which is always a plus in my books. I had some N-Spa gift sets over Christmas so I have been working through giving them all a good try - and loving every minute of it!

N-Spa Blueberry Cream Pie - Shower & Bath Gel:

As like the other N-Spa range this shower and bath gel wouldn't be complete without its quirky quote which appears on the N-Spa products. I for one like these little notes, and for me it makes the product a little more interesting and different to others on the market.

The Quote - "Inspiration", said the wise man "springs from blue skies and a purple patch."Sitting under the stars at midnight you might see the indigo light and discover the answer in a velvet smooth exterior. And perhaps... when daylight comes we shall taste vitality in a delicious burst of juicy superberry inside". Take the simple pleasure of the fruit, add the wisdom of Nirvana, make time in your day and turn your bathroom into a blissful spa.

            My Findings:

As for turning my bathroom into a spa well that would be a wonderful idea but for now I'll settle for some candles nice music and a glass of wine.

Me being me I was very excited to try this one, I hadn't tried it before so always great trying some new. I poured some of the gel out under the running water and in less than a second was hit with blueberry cream pie goodness. The smell was truly out of this world, good enough to eat infact but I'm sure it wouldn't taste that way if you tried it!

It made plenty of bubbles and the fragrance filled the bathroom within minutes, sweet blueberries but not in a sickly sweet way. Sometime I have found once you entre your bath the bubbles seem to start to disappear but not in this case they stick around for the length of your bath; brilliant as I do like my bubbles.

I can not tell you enough how wonderful and inviting the aroma is within my bath, which lingered the whole time while soaking in my bath. A truly relaxing and great smelling soak!

One thing about this N-Spa product is sadly it doesn't last on your skin as long as the others I have tried. Once out the bath and dried my skin felt and smelt tremendously yummy but after around thirty minutes or so I could hardly smell any of the fragrance left on my skin which was a real shame. One way to make the scent last longer is to use it matching moisturising cream.

I do really like how my skin feels after using this Blueberry cream pie gel, its fresh, soft to touch and makes me feel very clean. Even in the shower you get the same great feeling on your skin.

            How to use:

This is a bath and shower gel product so great for whatever your mood takes you; just pour into your bath whilst running your water this will make plenty of bubbles! Or to use in the shower just squeeze some on your hands or sponge rub over your skin.

            The Range:

            Vanilla Crème Brulee
            Blueberry Pie
            Coconut Ice Cream
            Raspberry Milkshake
            Apple Mint Crunch
            Lemon Soufflé

They do have others like bath syrups, creams, scrubs etc you can see there full range here - http://www.nirvanaspa.co.uk/dmgshop/products_list.asp?id=96

            Price and Availability:

N-Spa Shower and Bath gel comes in two size 500ml which will cost £3.00 and the 100ml which will cost £1.42 from Asda, I haven't seen this range anywhere else as of yet. But you can also purchase from the N-Spa web site which seems to be pricier than Asda.

            http://www.nirvanaspa.co.uk/dmgshop/products_list.asp?id=96

Mine was a gift pack called Fruit Treats where in contained four 100ml bottles for £5.00 from Asda on the N-Spa web site it is listed £6.00.

They do tend to be on offer every now and then so well worth a look out.

            Overall:

I love it! So far with the N-Spa range the vanilla and coconut are my favourite but this one is a very close second. It does exceptionally well on my skin, it last for ages only needing a little at a time being great value for money.

The smell is really to die for; like you to just want to squirt it on top of your ice cream! I wouldn't advise that though and do recommend you use edible stuff only for eating purposes. For me it's another outstanding product by the N-Spa range which I shall continue to buy for as long as it's around.

Four out of five stars from me.

            Thanks for reading :o)

              Disadvantages

              .

I think I of the reasons I like the N Spa range of products is the lovely smell of them. They smell delicious and are not too badly priced.

I've only seen this range in Asda so not sure if it is available elsewhere. They have quite a good stock at my local shop. These come in 500ml bottles or 100ml bottle. You can pay anything from £2.50-£4.00 for the 500ml ones and the 100ml ones were £1.25 but are rolled back to 31 just now. Around Christmas time you get a little gift box set of the smaller bottles.

The bottle is how the Dooyoo picture is. A clear plastic bottle with the writing all in black. I think this looks good against the light blue of the Gel. The black lid finishes the look off. I feel the bottle is trying to look expensive and it reminds me of the designer brand Philosophy, but a Shower Gel from that range costs around £19.

This seems more of a Shower Cream than a Gel. It is quite thick and a little of this on a Shower Puff goes a long way.

The smell of this is lovely. It does smell nice and blueberry like, and I could say there is a slight Pie scent to this. It smells fresh baked and just a lovely scent.

This cleans how it is meant to do, it seems to moisture a bit as well, and although the scent seems to go after this is washed off I think you can still smell a slight hint of this for a while afterwards on your skin.

A nice Shower Gel especially if you like ranges from the Body Shop and Boot's Fresh range, but this is just as good and that bit cheaper as well.

A blueberry smelling bath and shower gel

I will confess that I do have a little thing for bath products and body washes, my current collection is nearly 20 and for me I think I enjoy the fruity fragrances as I like to make the most of the one time each day I get some me time and peace and quiet. The latest buy was this blueberry bath foam which I had been on the look out for a few weeks, I bought a pack of the smaller bottles as part of my Mom's birthday present and this was included, but they had not released the larger bottle yet so I was so pleased when I found it on the shelf on my last shopping trip.

                ~~THE BOTTLE~~

The bottle is made from clear plastic which means you get to see the rich purple coloured liquid inside and it also means you know exactly how much of it you have left. The top of the bottle is a black flip lid which makes for easy use. On the front of the bottle in black lettering is the product name and the n-spa logo, the back of the bottle has all the relevant product information and directions for use.

The both and shower gels always have a saying or phrase on the front of the bottle and I do find these interesting and a joy to read when lying in the bath, the one on this bottle reads:-

'Inspiration', said the wise man 'springs from blue skies and a purple patch. Sitting under the stars at midnight you might see the indigo light and discover the answer in a velvet smooth exterior. And perhaps... when daylight comes we shall taste vitality in a delicious burst of juicy super berry inside'.

                ~~USE AND RESULTS~~

It is very simple to use the bath and shower gel, to use in the shower you just need to squeeze the gel out onto ether your hands or shower puff and massage into the body and then rinse off r to use in the bath, squeeze a generous amount under a running tap. For me the latter is my choice as I do not like showers.

I find that the bath gel lathers up very well and once it hit's the water it starts almost instantly. The gel is very thick and a nice purple colour and the smell from it is lovely. When you open the lid you get a faint hint of the smell but once you add this to the water then the smell does get stronger. I am reminded of blueberries every time I smell this and it is very fruity and almost calming. The small lasts for the whole duration of my bath, around 15-20 minutes and I do not find the use of scented shampoos and conditioner affects the smell.

When I washed myself in the gel and then dried off after my bath I noticed how nice and clean my skin felt, it also looked so much more moisturised. I was also still able to smell the blueberries and this did last for a good few hours. The smell was only faint and for me this is better as it means it is not going to over power any perfume I spray on before going out. This is not only aimed at the female market but hubby has used it too as he also likes the smell. He has sensitive skin and has had no problems using it.

I did let my boys use this in their baths once and it was so nice when I got my bedtime cuddles as I could smell it on them and it did make me smile.

                ~~INFO~~

The gel comes in a bottle size of 500ml and for me this lasts about 1 month as I have so many others on the go at the same time. For everyday use I would say this would last about 2-3 weeks.

The bottle is 100% recyclable and in our house this usually means a new bath squeeze toy which can be used to soak both me and Daddy.

The ingredients for those wishing to know are:-

Aqua (water), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Sodium Chloride, Glycerin, Parfum (Fragrance), Glycol Distearate, Cocomide MEA, Laureth-10, Polyquarternium-7, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Styrene/Acrylates, Copolymer, Trideceth-7, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Denatonium Benzoate, Xanthan Gum, Magnesium Nitrate, Methylchloroi8sothiazolinone, Magnesium Chloride, Methylisothiazolinone, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, Limonene, CI 42090 (Blue no 1), CI 17200 (Red 33)

The shelf life of the shower and bath gel once opened is 36 months.

The N-spa products have not been tested on animals.

There are some warnings on the back of the bottle and these include, keeping product out of eyes, storing in a cool place, keeping out of reach of children and not consuming the product.

                ~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~

I have only seen this product for sale in Asda, it can be bought from the n-spa website though. It is priced in Asda at £2 which I think is a great price. Tesco are currently expanding their N-spa range so it may soon be available there to.

The N-Spa web address is www.nirvanaspa.co.uk

                ~~RECOMMENDED?~~

This bath and shower gel deserves nothing less than the full 5 stars. The smell is wonderful and it leaves skin soft, moisturised and clean. The smell lasts for a good time after use and it appeals to both the male and female market. Definitely worth a try if you like fruity products.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

                  GORGEOUS

N-Spa or Nirvana Spa is the No1 Pure Spa within the UK. The spa itself is based in Berkshire but the company are aware this may not be affordable or convenient for everyone. The resolution was to release a range of pampering products to the shopping market.

The range is quite extensive and is evergrowing. Products such as bubble bath and shower gel can be bought alongside scrubs and hand washes. Various scents are available depending on your personal preference. If you fancy something fruity, you may opt for Raspberry Milkshake or Apple Crunch. If you desire something exotic you may opt for Coconut Ice and for those with a love for sweet scents, Vanilla Creme Brulee or Hot Butter Fudge may tempt you.

Each product comes with its own little poem for a little twist.

                  **Product and Range**

One of the fruity and sweet combination scents available is Blueberry Cream Pie.

You can purchase a shower and bath gel, a body scrub and a body cream in this scent. The products can be used alone or together for a layered scent. This particular review concentrates of the shower and bath gel which has 3 uses combined into one bottle. This includes it being used as a shower gel, a bubble bath and a body wash so it is rather versatile.

The poem on this bottle reads..

"Inspiration", said the wise man "springs from blue skies and a purple patch. "Sitting under the stars at midnight you might see the indigo light and discover the answer in a velvet smooth exterior. And perhaps... when daylight comes we shall taste vitality in a delicious burst of juicy superberry inside". Take the simple pleasure of the fruit, add the wisdom of Nirvana, make time in your day and turn your bathroom into a blissful spa.

                  **Packaging**

Note - The picture above is actually that of the Body Cream.

This shower gel (for the purpose of the review) comes in a rather chunky, clear bottle. The gel is dispensed through a flip open cap on the black lid. The bottle is made of fairly strong plastic so can survive a few knocks but nothing major.

There is a clear label running around the middle of the bottle. The front of the bottle has the n-spa logo and product name all in lower case and the poem can also be found here. On the back, there is some blurb about the product, directions for use, ingredients and contact details for the company.

We are warned that this is not a food product and should not be consumed no matter how delicious it smells! The information is written in black writing so stands out well on the clear background. Once opened, this should be used up within 36months.

                  **Using**

So how do we use this shower gel? Well you can hop in the shower and use it over your wet body, you can also use it in the bath as a normal body wash. Alternatively, you can pour a few drops under warm, running water for a gorgeous bubble bath. N-spa recommend that you massage this into your skin and this will provide maximum cleaning and softness.

Blueberry Cream Pie Shower and Bath Gel comes in a standard 500ml bottle. It is available to purchase from Asda and online at www.asda.com at a cost of £2.00! The other scented products in this range can also be bought for around the £2.00 mark.

                  **My Opinion**

I was first attracted to N-Spa products after spotting them on one of my shopping trips to my local Asda store. The section in there is huge and the different scents and the very reasonable prices lured me in and I have been hooked ever since. It keeps me going when I cannot afford Soap and Glory as its half the price near enough!

My collection of N-Spa goodies has slowly expanded and if I have a few pound spare, I like to see what I can buy as they are often reduced in price. At the moment, I am using the Blueberry Cream Pie Shower and Bath Gel. I was treated to this huge 500ml bottle a few months ago by my lovely fiance and as I was using up other bottles, I have only recently got around to trying this. I can safely confirm that it has become a firm favourite.

The bottle itself is chunky and thick which is an issue if you wanted to take this into the shower as it becomes difficult to grasp. This isn't an issue for me though as we don't have a shower and this simply sits on the edge of the bath alongside the Lynx and Johnson's. The smooth, clear bottle allows me to see when I am running low and the addition of a flip top cap is very welcome as the Strawberry one didn't have this addition.

The design of the bottle is simple yet stylish and ties in with the rest of the range. The wording on the front is quite cute and is very much like the Philosophy branding which gives a slightly expensive feel. All the information required is on the bottle in clear and noticable writing.

The gel itself is a rather dull, blue/lilac shade and even whilst in the bottle, you can see it isn't overly running and has a semi thick milkshake consistency. Opening the flip top, the hole isn't massive but it is big enough to allow a decent amount of gel out.

I use this in two ways. I like a nice hot bubble bath and use this if I am in a fruity mood! Running my hot water, I pour a small amount under the tap. It comes out rather thick and needs swirled around with my hand to create more bubbles. The smell on contact with the water is fruity and light and developes as the bubbles develope. After a short while, I go in and check on my bath and a gorgeous aroma sweeps around and the bath has a generous layer of fluffy bubbles on the surface and a few clumps floating around the tap area.

My bath looked very inviting and as I stepped in, I noticed a distinct softness of the water. The bubbles were super soft and very light and fluffy. I was shocked at how much scent could be held amongst the bubbles and I felt totally relaxed for a good 20mins. The bubbles lasted well and even after getting washed, there was still a few random fluffy bits floating around the surface of the water.

I used this to wash myself down with. I squeezed a tiny amount onto my sponge and began to massage into my damp skin. The gel quickly worked itself into a creamy lather and smoothed over my skin with ease. I really didn't need much to do my whole body and I am no size 10!

The intensity of the scent grew with ever movement of my sponge. The initial scent was gorgeously fruity and you couldn't fail to know it was blueberries. It was incredibly fresh and very satisfying. As it lathered up further, the scent began to change. It kept its fruitiness as the main scent and blended with a creamy and sweet scent. My bathroom smelt like a cross between a bakery selling fresh fruit cakes and a sweet shop! Personally this is my idea of heaven and I was most intrigued by this wonderful aroma.

Washing the lather off my skin was simple and required no more effort than tipsing a jug of water over it. My dry and sensitive skin had been replaced with soft and squeeky clean skin which was delicately scented with sweetness and fruitiness. The scent lasted for several hours which you don't really expect from something so cheap. I have personally not used the corresponding products but I quite fancy the body cream as I feel layering the scent up would act as a cheap and effective all day scent and would result in me not needing to wear as much perfume.

This scent is fruity and sweet rolled into one and of course would make a gorgeous and cost effective gift for someone who loves they sort of scents. I personally adores fruitiness and sweetness and tend to shy away of musk and floral scents.

I am extremely impressed with how this gel has performed. You don't often find such cheap products which do what they are supposed to and more and that also smell gorgeous but N-Spa have really made this possible so I highly recommend this product and all the others in the range!

                  Thanks for reading :)
