      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Smells great, but need to use a lot.

Not long ago I put my hands up and admitted I had too many toiletries! I receive enough at Christmas to last me a year, yet I still buy more. I've stopped buying now and making my way through the many different varieties I have received as gifts. The body wash I am using at the moment is this N-Spa raspberry milkshake shower and bath gel. I received it in a hamper from my dad, I'm quite surprised he has quite good taste. ** Packaging ** The shower and bath gel I have comes in a 500ml see through bottle, full of a lush baby pink liquid. It has a flip lid at the top and can also be unscrewed. The front of the bottle has the product name and also a few lines of writing, like a short story, which is quite unusual but nice. The writing on this bottle is "Imagine," said the wise man, "that the moon was made of raspberry. Would all rocks be pink and all flowers meringue? Perhaps... and when evening falls shall we slide down the crescent laughing as we splash into warm waters of sweet milk, how enchanting life would be." I'm not really sure what to make of it, maybe that's the whole point, to get the user to linger about it for a while. The back of the bottle presents the directions and ingredients. ** Shower and bath gel ** I don't often have baths, so primarily use this as a body wash in the shower. After opening the lid, a big waft of fruity juiciness fills my nostrils. It has a strong raspberry scent and smells delicious. I find it takes quite a lot of the gel to create a nice bubbly lather compared to some of the other products I have used. After being used it does leave my skin soft, however, it doesn't leave it smelling of the lovely fragrances smelt when opening the bottle. I have only used this gel in the bath once. After pouring it into the running bath the same lovely scent is apparent but the amount of bubbles is disappointing. I like to indulge myself in baths, so I really like a lot of bubbles, that's the reason I only used it once. ** Useful Info ** N-Spa raspberry milkshake shower and bath gel is available from Asda. It costs £3 for a 500ml bottle, but is currently on offer for 2 selected toiletries for £4. ** Overall ** This shower and bath gel smells gorgeous from the bottle, however results after using it isn't as great as expected. Using this product in the bath will never happen again as it is simply useless. After I've made my way through all my stash of toiletries, and this Christmas coming offerings, I may buy it if I can find it on offer, as I think £3 a bottle is a tad too expensive for this.

        Disadvantages

An average shower gel/bath gel from Asda.

It's fair to say that I'm quite fussy with the products that I use due to suffering from sensitive skin and flare ups from time to time. I actually didn't purchase this N-Spa raspberry milkshake gel myself, I received it inside a lovely hamper that I got at Christmas from my Nan. There was lots of wonderful items inside and there was two N-Spa products. I recognised the name from somewhere (here!) but as I don't shop at Asda I didn't realise it was one of their brands until I began researching the price for the purpose of this review. This N-Spa 'Raspberry Milkshake Shower & Bath Gel' is 100ml in size and is advertised as being 'travel friendly', which it is. This product comes provided in a clear plastic bottle with a black flip top lid. It's a very basic looking product but I must admit that the pink colour and the gloopiness of the gel did intrigue me, however, even though I read the front of the bottle twice I did not grasp the concept that this is a shower gel and a bath product also. I'm not really sure why but it took me a few days of using this to realise that I could put it under running water for something a little different in the bath. When you flip open the lid and smell this gel there is quite an artificial sweet like scent which is also a little bit fruity. It's very simple to dispense this gel as it runs down to the top of the bottle in a matter of seconds when held upside down. To wash with this I have been using it on a bath lily, pouring out a generous amount and then scrunching it to create lots of bubbles. There is a lovely amount of bubbles produced and it does give off a glorious fruity sweet scent. The kind that might attract wasps perhaps? Well, it doesn't matter really as the scent doesn't last for long once I've left the bath. Speaking of baths, as a bath gel it's not very great. I have found that regardless of how hot the water is and how fast it's running there just isn't a huge amount of bubbles created. If I use a lot of this gel there is a lovely scent that briefly fills the bathroom and then it's gone again. The bubbles that are created are fairly few and far between and they don't last long at all. I love to have a long, lazy, luxurious bath and how can I do that without long lasting bubbles to rub all over myself. Overall I would say that this is an average product, it has a nice, fruity scent that may be a little artificial for some. It does clean me up and there is a nice amount of lather produced when i use a generous amount with a bath lily, however, it lets itself down in the bath gel area by just not creating many bubbles and they don't last long either. I would say that it's reasonable for the £1.42 price tag (roll back to £1 for May 2011) as it's quite a nice scent for the price but as I love something a little more bubblesome I don't think I'd buy this myself or want to give it as a gift. I would consider taking it on holiday with me just because it does the job of cleaning me well and I wouldn't mind throwing it away at the end of the week to save bringing it back.

A delightful variety of shower gel from N-spa.

I wanted to treat myself in typical girly fashion recently and whilst shopping at my local Asda found these N-spa fruit shower and bath gels in a range of wonderful fragrances and bright colours. I ended up buying a selection of little 100ml bottles. The 'Raspberry Milkshake' variety is easily distinguished by it's shocking pink gel. It looks like a red berry smoothie and the pink shade is very appealling to my feminine sensibilities! The N-spa range of shower and bath gels come in transparent plastic bottles which can be recycled after use. They have flip lids which fasten very tightly and so make the bottles easy to transport and travel with. The lids are quite easy to prize open though as they have a large lip which makes it easy to open even with slippery fingertips! The dispensing hole is large enough to squeeze out a good amount of gel without getting frustrated that it's taking too long to pour out! The N-spa brand personalise each variety of shower gel by putting a piece of creative writing on the bottle's label. Each piece of writing reads like a strange long-lost folk tale and is quite enchanting, reminding me of the writings of Walter de la Mare. As far as I know N-spa make up their own prose to fit with the fragrance and variety of the gel. In this case the writing talks of wise men who dream of moons made of raspberries, pink socks and meringue flowers. The writing is intended to relax and bewitch and it certainly makes me smile to re-read the bottle as I'm slipping into my bubbly bath! You can use this gel in two ways - either pour into running water or apply to your body direct or sponge. I use a shower lilly and turn the gel into a lather before smoothing it over my skin. The gel turns into a foamy froth very quickly. It's a soft, fluffy and thick lava of bubbles that feels divine, as though I'm melting into some kind of creamy pudding! The gel does create a lot of sparkling bubbles whichever way you use it and the bubbles last a long time in the water. I can relax and rest in the water surrounded by foam and not worry about them popping in a hurry. The fragrance of the gel is very strong and is very much like a raspberry/strawberry and sugar blend. It's a very sweet and girly scent that makes you feel hungry and thirsty. In fact the company have seriously marked up a 'Do not eat, this is not a food product' sign on the label! It really does smell good enough to eat, being reminiscent of fresh fruit smoothies, jelly chews, lemonade and strawberries and cream. I love the fragrance but would have to say that I don't think it's suitable for males (unless you know you like this sort of thing!). I love using this N-spa gel as it softens my skin and the bubbles and fragrance help to relax me in my bath. I do think it's more of a relaxing product than a refreshing one although I feel ultra clean and fresh after using. I did find this 100ml version slightly expensive as it was £1 and this was an offer price however I would gladly buy this poduct again. Find out more at: www.nirvanaspa.co.uk

        Like bathing in Crusha

N-Spa Raspberry Milkshake Shower and Bath Gel: I was in Asda the other day looking for a hand wash when I spied their range of N-Spa products looking all alluring on a near by shelf. I had read many a review about this range with the writers literally raving about wonderful these products were. I selected a very pink bottle of Raspberry Milkshake Shower and Bath Gel, popped it into my trolley and took it home full of high expectations for my next bath time. The 500ml bottle of this shower and bath gel is completely clear allowing you you to see the very vivid, hot pink contents. My bathroom is currently hot-pink, {or sexy pink as I call it}, after being painted using left over bedroom paint so this looks the part on my bathroom shelf. It has a very practical black plastic flip top lid which allows you to squeeze the required amount of product into your bath. Be careful though as it can squirt out at quite a rate essentially wasting a load of your bubble bath! The bottle has rather a lot of bold black text on the front, giving the name of the product, the N-Spa logo and the volume of the bottle as well as some kind of weird blurb. I've seen these blurbs described as "quirky", "witty" etc. but to be honest it seemed like nonsense to me and didn't really add to the attraction. My bottle says, "Imagine" said the wise man, "that the moon was made of raspberry. Would all the socks be pink and all the flowers meringue? Perhaps... and when evening falls shall we slide down the crescent laughing as we splash into warm waters of sweet milk, how enchanting life would be." Umm. OK. Should start, "Imagine" said the 70's hair rocker after taking a truck load of acid ... Well each to their own I guess. On the back there are directions for use, more weirdness, the ingredients and a warning not eat the product which I guess is aimed at that crazy "wise" man! They have tactically written the ingredients in teeny tiny writing and this makes the list look less long and less full of nasty chemicals and parabens. There is actually an ingredient in this with a name that is 27 letters long! If you have sensitive skin or aversions to certain chemicals I would carefully check the back of the bottle out, I care less about this sort of thing than I used to but I know a lot of you care about it. After opening the bottle and taking a good whiff I get a lovely juicy, fruit scent at first which actually makes my mouth water but it quickly gives way to a very artificial raspberry scent. I was complaining about this to the other half when he pointed out that it was "raspberry milkshake" and that it did in fact, smell like raspberry Crusha! The scent stays pretty much the same when added to water and the fragrance did manage to fill half my flat so it's quite strong. Being such a vivid pink I expected this to make my bath water pink too but it didn't; my water stayed completely clear and boring. It did make a load of fluffy white bubbles though which was nice and the water was made lovely and soft. Being a shower and bath gel I can also use this as a body wash too which is a good thing as it means I can use it up faster. After getting out of the bath my skin felt quite dry which is a shame as I was expecting lovely smooth skin based on other reviews and the N-Spa website. The scent didn't last on my skin once I was out of the bath either which would normally be a negative thing but to be honest I didn't really want to go around smelling of fake raspberries. I paid £4.00 for this in Asda and as far as I am aware N-Spa products are only available from Asda. I really wanted to like this but unfortunately I was so disappointed as the smell was so artificial and I just led in my bath looking longingly at my Champneys bath floats and my stash of Lush products regretting buying this at all.

          Disadvantages

A lovely product when used as a body wash, it's a shame it doesn't create many bubbles.

I received a bottle of N-Spa Raspberry Milkshake shower and bath gel for Christmas just gone. I had already seen this brand in Asda before and was always smelling their products, but never bought myself any before, even though they did smell gorgeous! So I was very pleased when I got given this as a present. I like the little stories printed on these bottles, they seem quite random! The one for the raspberry milkshake states: "Imagine, said the wise man, that the moon was made of raspberry. Would all rocks be pink and all flowers meringue? Perhaps... and when evening falls shall we slide down the crescent laughing as we splash into warm waters of sweet milk, how enchanting life would be." It does put a lovely and sweet picture in your head, it certainly did for me the first time I read it! As this is shower and bath gel, it can be used as a shower gel on your body or to make bubbles in the bath. At first I thought it was just shower gel, but on the directions on the bottle it says to "apply to wet body, gently massage and rinse... or pour into running water and create a bath filled with bubbles." I was glad when I realised it can be used as bubble bath too as I prefer baths to showers and so love smelly bubble baths. The first time I used this I poured it into my bath whilst the hot tap was running, yes it did make some bubbles, but unfortunately not that many. They did smell lovely though, I never usually choose raspberry smelling products myself and opt for orange or mango scented things, but I liked this and it will make me choose more raspberry scented things in the future. I used this as a body wash too, and it left my skin feeling very soft and when I got into bed after my bath I just smelt of raspberries! It was lovely. The next time I had a bath I poured it in again as bubble bath but this time I poured in twice as much, thinking I may have just not put enough in last time. However, it still didn't make as many bubbles as I like and what other bubble bath products have created for me. I now just use this as body wash, which is ok with me as it leaves my skin smelling lovely and very soft, and I just add a little to my bath as well as another bubble bath, so I still get lots of bubbles and the smell of the raspberries! Therefore I am still very pleased with this product. I have only seen these on sale in Asda, but they can be purchased from the N-Spa website too. I have the 500ml bottle and I am not sure how much this size bottle costs, but the 100ml bottles are on offer at only £1 from Asda at the moment. N-Spa do many other flavours of this product if raspberry really isn't for you, but as I mentioned, I never thought the smell of raspberries was anything special, but this product has made me change my mind! I would recommend this product as a good body wash or shower gel, but if like me, you like lots of bubbles in your bath, then this just doesn't do that and so I would use an alternative product for that, and maybe just add a little bit of this still to create the lovely smell in your bath.

            Its Scented For Everyone!!

Im very lucky having a mom like I do. She is just as addicted to beauty products as I am so even when I cant afford to buy myself any she comes home with bags full that I get to use as well which is what happened a few weeks back. I think she must have found a massive sale on N-Spa products in ASDA and she came home with about 2 bags of goodies for us both to try out and this 'N-Spa Raspberry Milkshake Shower & Bath Gel' was the one I tried out most recently. I have to admit this wouldnt be one Id have picked out for myself as in the past Ive found raspberry scented products to be a bit iffy but as this bottle was just sitting there I thought Id try it out - and I have been quite surprised. Useful Information: Price: 500ml bottle - £4.50 Stockists: ASDA & The Nirvana Spa website. Other Info: This bath syrup is available in MANY other scents - Gingerbread Latte, Angel Cake, Vanilla Creme Brulee & Hot Butter Fudge- just to name a few. So I think everyone will be able to find a flavour to suit their tastes from this range - and I think they all cost the same amount. This product comes in a small 100ml bottle [the one I own is 100ml as I got it as part of a set] which is totally transparent through which you can clearly see the product inside - which is a milky, pink colour and appears to be very creamy and thick which usually means it will be very moisturising - in my experience. At the top of the bottle is a small black cap that can be flipped open and shut OR taken off all together if you want to get more out of the bottle quicker - I prefer to do it the first way though as you dont waste any using it like that. On the front and back of the bottle is all the information you could need - directions for use, shelf life, ingredients etc and there is also an email address and street address to write to should you any more questions on the product. The thing I like about the little bottle I own is that it is travel suitable so if your going on holiday soon and going by plane these products might be good for you as you can take them without worrying about them exploding!! To use this product is really simple as its the same way you'd use ay bubble bath - simply pour a small amount into warm water OR underneath the tap whilst its running and then your bath should be filled with thousands of bubbles and a gorgeous scent. Or you can use this as a normal shower gel - lather it up and then wash yourself from head to toe with this - I started off using this as a bubble bath but I have started using it since as a shower gel and I have to say it works just as well both ways. Even better when you use it both ways at the same time - double the effects! When used as a bubble bath this does produce tonnes of bubbles and turns the water a lovely milky, pink shade which looks very relaxing in my opinion. Using it as a shower gel is just as brilliant because it lathers up really well and very quickly - meaning a very small amount is more than enough to create tonnes of bubbles/lather which means one bottle will last you a really long time. When I use this in the bath water it makes it feel instantly softer and very silky - but thankfully not too greasy so the perfect amount of moisture, bubbles and lather in my opinion. I think the scent is always worth mentioning when it comes to N-Spa products and this one is no different as the scent of this was one thing I thought I wouldnt be too keen on and Ive been pleasantly surprised. With raspberry scents I think they often smell quite artificial anf fake but this one is gorgeous - maybe because it is a milkshake scent rather than the actual fruit. Dont get me wrong this does smell fruity but it has a lovely sweet yet light feel about the scent it really is like bathing or washing with a thick milkshake - double the moisture with this one because it is much creamier and milkier than other products from this range. Im not saying the scent is the nicest from the range BUT I think this one will appeal to a wider range of people because it is so light and inoffensive - if your looking to try only one product from this range make it this one - fragrance wise anyway. The scent lingers on my skin afterwards for ages as well so that only makes it nicer to use for me. My skin always feels gorgeous after Ive used this and it feels very moisturised - probably more so than any N-Spa products Ive used in the past. Most importantly my skin feels fresh and clean after using this - which lets face it is the main thing you want from a shower gel. I feel no need to use extra moisturiser after using this because my skin already feels amazing - super soft and smooth so it saves me so much time after getting out of the bath/shower. After using this my skin feels, looks and smells amazing - everything I want from a product like this. 5*'s from me and I highly recommend it to others. Thanks For Reading. x0 Salz 0x

              N-Spa comes up wonders again

For those that do regularly read my reviews you will know that I have a passion for toiletries and I, like a lot of women have an enormous amount hiding away ready to be used. So until I have a used most of mine up I shall not buy anymore! Well I will try not to anyway. For Christmas I received many toiletries too; the one set I had was the N-Spa Fruit Treats set where in contained four 100ml bottles of yummy shower and bath gel. N-Spa Raspberry Milkshake Shower & Bath Gel: 'A refreshing blend of wild raspberry combines with summer flowers and a delicate soft musk, in a luscious deep pink shade. Leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and fragranced with the juicy aroma of raspberries' This is one of my favourite things when it comes to the N-Spa range is there quirky quotes on their products, this one being no different from the others. So far I'm yet to be disappointed with this brand as all the ones I have tried so far have been fabulous! The quote - Imagine, said the wise man, that the moon was made of raspberry. Would all socks be pink and all flowers meringue? Perhaps... and when evening falls shall we slide down the crescent laughing as we splash into warm waters of sweet milk, how enchanting life would be. My Findings: A truly orgasmic scent I must say! My first time using this gel I was really impressed just like all the N-Spa products I have tried so far they have all been wonderful. This one sure does have a very strong sweet smell so really I guess this wouldn't be to everyone's liking but I absolutely loved it! I'm a big fan of fruity smelling items and well of fruit in general so naturally I'm a lover of this fragrance. Pouring this into my bath for the first time was a pure delight the aromas scented all around the bathroom, it was sweet you could certainly smell the raspberries but with a mild floral hint. Soon as the gel mixes with the water you get a good amount of bubbles, the bath water doesn't really change colour but you have clouds of big white bubbles. I didn't need to use much within my bath; just a small amount will give you plenty of bubbles and fragrance the bath water well too. While soaking in the bath the bubbles last a good length of time and also the yummy scent from the gel lingers for the while length of my bath, perfect for me as I do enjoy long bath time soaks. I do love that this is a two in one gel so it can be used for both shower and bath times, even on my sponge just a small amount will give you a good lather and your able to wash the whole of your body from just a small amount. When I soak in the bath the scent seems to last that little bit longer on my skin more so than using this gel in the shower. Afterwards my skin feels refreshed, clean, soft to touch and smells great for a while too, but as always if you would like to make the scent last longer I would recommend you use its matching moisturising cream. The gel is a rather bright, girly pink but as I stated this doesn't alter your bath colour in anyway nor does it stain your bath. The flip lid makes it easy for pouring and no mess either, so far I have had no problems when it comes to opening the lids they just flip open nice and easy. This gel is also relatively thick great if you just want to put some in your hands to wash yourself with, it just doesn't lather up as well if you don't use a sponge or some exfoliater gloves etc The Range: Vanilla Crème Brulee Blueberry Pie Coconut Ice Cream Raspberry Milkshake Apple Mint Crunch Lemon Soufflé They do have others like bath syrups, creams, scrubs etc you can see there full range here - http://www.nirvanaspa.co.uk/dmgshop/products_list.asp?id=96 How to use: This is a bath and shower gel product so great for whatever your mood takes you; just pour into your bath whilst running your water this will make plenty of bubbles! Or to use in the shower just squeeze some on your hands or sponge rub over your skin and enjoy that yummy scent. Price and Availability: N-Spa Shower and Bath gel comes in two size 500ml which will cost £3.00 and the 100ml which will cost £1.42 from Asda, I haven't seen this range anywhere else as of yet. But you can also purchase from the N-Spa web site which seems to be pricier than Asda. http://www.nirvanaspa.co.uk/dmgshop/products_list.asp?id=96 Mine was a gift pack called Fruit Treats where in contained four 100ml bottles for £5.00 from Asda on the N-Spa web site it is listed £6.00. They do tend to be on offer every now and then so well worth a look out and right now at Asda the large 500ml bottles are on offer for only £2.00. Overall: This is genuinely a wonderful product which leaves you feeling refreshed, clean and your skin feeling amazing also. I can not recommend this gel highly enough! For people that enjoy there fruity scented smellies I would defiantly recommend you give this a go as I am sure you will not be disappointed. When mine runs out I shall certainly be buying myself another bottle. A big five out of five stars from me. Thank for reading :o) Additional Information: http://www.nspafruits.co.uk/raspberry/ N-Spa is against animal testing though I can't find it on the packaging the web-site states their products are not tested on animals. 3 out of 5 stars

N-Spa Raspberry Milkshake Shower and Bath Gel I initially purchased this while doing the weekly shop in Asda, I wanted to try something new and this rather large pink N-Spa raspberry milkshake shower and bath gel caught my attention. N-Spa isn't a brand that I have heard much about, but the product looked nice and I was hopeful it would turn out to be nice. N-Spa says that this shower and bath gel is "a refreshing blend of wild raspberry combined with summer flowers and a delicate soft musk, in a luscious deep pink shade. Leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and fragranced with the juicy aroma of raspberries". Personally, I think that it has more of a generic sweet smell rather than a specific raspberry smell. However, having said that it doesn't mean that I didn't find this a nice scent, I did. The problem is that if I hadn't been told it was raspberry I very much doubt I would have been able to guess that from the smell alone. Be warned thou it is a very sweet smell and although I like it my husband can't stand it. The shower gel does leave my skin feeling clean and it hasn't dried out my skin even in the slightest or made me feel the need to rush out of the shower to put on moisturiser. In this respect this shower gel really does compare to some of the more expensive brands I have tried. I have had problems in the past with cheaper shower gels irritating my skin, I have been using this for a while now and I really like it. N-Spa say that you should be able to smell this on your skin after you have finished using it. Personally, I can't say this is true. I think that the smell although pleasant doesn't last for long. Even in the shower after you have initially applied it, the smell seems to begin to disappear. I really like this as a shower gel, but I think it lets itself down when used as a bath gel. Admittedly I have only used this once but it doesn't really compare to my usual Radox, there wasn't as much bubbles, the water didn't shade a different colour and the smell was nice at first but seemed to disappear within seconds. Overall, I like using this as a shower gel but as far as my bath is concerned there are better products out there. I can't remember the exact price but this wasn't an expensive purchase, I bought mine in a 500 ml bottle, which last for a long time. I don't always do the shopping in Asda but I haven't noticed this product available in any other store (but that doesn't mean I'm right it could be everywhere and I just haven't noticed). Overall I do like this shower and bath gel but it isn't the best I have tried. I would buy it again and I would try out some of the other products. As far as value for money goes this a great product, it is cheap and cheerful and it does deliver a nice quality product even if the scent is slightly lacking. I think it's fair to give this an average three out of five stars, although I do like it and I would recommend trying it, it doesn't deliver in fragrance or as a bath gel. It does make for a pleasant and cheap shower gel.

                  A fruity sensation

I was brought this as a xmas gift and I have to say it is not a brand I had ever heard of before. I'm not overly fussy with shower gels etc and don;t suffer with any skin problems so this didn't bother me. What first struck me was the vibrant colours of these products, they make them stand out and look really cheerful. What i also noticed was the cool names, not just plain old rasberry but rasberry milkshake and lemon souffle (I received both the rasberry and lemon). The bottle are large bottle and mine are still going strong 8 months since xmas. This does of course depend how much and what you use them for. They are designed for both shower gel and bubble bath - if you use them for bubble bath alot then I would imagine they would go done alot quicker. The smell is very intense and lovely and fruity - reminds me of Opal fruits (or is it Starburst these days!). They lather up very well on you skin and you feel like you are getting a great clean. I have also used these in the bath and the smell you get is great, though it is not an overpowering smell. You also great bubbles with these products. I loved these so much i went and brought the chocolate one to treat myself on my birthday. I am have to say I have used this on already. I used it purely as a bubble bath and the smell was so lovely i put loads in the tub to bathe in chocolate! I have seen these for sale in Asda at very good price and would def buy these again

                  .

I have tried a few of the N Spa range of smelly stuff and everything i've tried I would buy again. I don't know if I am for or against the packaging. I can see that they are trying to look expensive and the writing on the bottles reminds me of the range Philosophy which is about £20 for a 500ml bubble bath. It is not a bad idea for it to be looking more expensive, but in the same sense it sort of seems to look cheap as well in a way. You can get this in a 500ml bottle which is about £3. There is often a 2 for £5 offer in Asda and i've not seen this range anywhere else. I got 4 mini sized bottles for my Christmas. These were all different ones and 100ml bottles. I think the pack cost £5, and see that you can buy the mimi bottles iondividually in Asda for around £1.30. The bottle is how the Dooyoo picture looks. A clear plastic bottle where you can see the bright pink Gel through the bottle. The writing is all in black and it looks alright. A flip top lid on here which is easy enough to open even with wet hands. This is a nice Gel. A little of this on a Shower Puff goes a long way and although the gel isn't overly thick, it makes a nice lather when on wet skin and gives a good light foam of Bubbles. This cleans how I would expect a Shower Gel to do, it seems to moisturise your skin alright and the scent is lovely. It smells like ripe, fresh Raspberries and the slightest hint of Milkshake mixed through. I'm sure you can get just as nice scents in a cheaper range but the size of the bottle is decent and when on offer you will save that little bit extra.

As tempting as it may be, Don't drink it !!!

I bought this raspberry milkshake shower and bath gel with some other little bits and bobs as a pamper present for my friend who had just found out she was pregnant. She loved it so much and went on and on about it so I thought I had better see for myself what all the fuss was about. What is it? It is a shower and bath gel that is a deliciously sweet raspberry milkshake flavour. It is made by N.Spa which is the short name for Nirvana spa. First impressions : The bottle is a large 500ml size, it is made of clear plastic so you can see the vibrant raspberry coloured liquid inside. It has black block print writing which makes it look modern and interesting. There is a black flip top lid, I much prefer the 'flip' variety of lid as you have no chance of loosing it and it makes it much more easier when in the shower. It's what's inside at counts. As soon as you flip back the lid you are hit by the most amazingly sweet raspberry milkshake fragrance. It isn't that typical raspberry smell you get with bath products, it really does smell like a milkshake. The gel is gorgeously thick and creamy and a little goes a long way. You can use as a shower gel, in which case you apply to your wet skin and it goes all lovely and lathery. You can also use as a bubble bath, just pour a little under warm running water and your bath will be filled with soft little raspberry smelling bubbles. This is my favourite way to use it as I tend to go a bit heavy handed when using it as a shower gel, this way it lasts longer. Great stuff, where can I get it ? You can buy the N spa range at any Asda store or you can order online at the nirvana spa website, www.nirvanaspa.co.uk. The best bit is the price, I bought this in Asda for just £2.98. They have a whole range of different fruity flavours plus a more 'grown up' range of Nspa bath and body products. Final thoughts I think this is a fantastic product, it leaves your skin soft and silky and smelling divine. My ten year old daughter loves it too and we have since been on an N spa spree and bought loads of other foodie smelling goodies for our girlie pamper nights.

                      great beauty buys

Nirvana spa products are available in most ASDA superstores. I found out about N-Spa through a magazone recommendation and i now love it! Cheap and Cheerful! N-Spa products are sooo cheap, i bought rasberry milkshake body lotion for £2 and rasberry milshake bubble bath for £2 rasberry milkshake body scrub £2 n-spa hand cream £2.50 (huge bottle) foot butter £2.50! Very affordable! I use the rasberry milkshake but i have bought coconut ice cream flavours for my mum! Theres a variety f different scents, some christmassy ones available too! Pretty much something for everybody! I put on some rasberry milkshake body lotion a few hours ago and i can still smell it now, its a great product, consider that some women spend a great deal of money on body lotions and butters £2 is a very small price to pay for smelling great!!!!! The bubble bath is delicous,it left my bath smelling as if i'd bought it from Lush. Lots of bubbles and i got out with the smell of rasberry still on my skin! Amazing and beautiful! I have not used it in the shower as i loved it so much as a bubble bath!!! The different items will make great presents leading up to christmas, i would be happy to find them in my stocking!!!!

A lovely addition to the bathroom cabinet!

~~ Introduction ~~ Browsing the mountains of bath and shower gels in ASDA recently, my eyes soon feasted upon the attractive packaging of the N-Spa Fruits range. N-Spa Fruits is a new range of mouth watering fruit body scrubs and shower and bath gels designed and formulated for Nirvana Spa & Leisure LTD. Within the fruity range there four juicy fruit fragrance variations: Orange Smoothie Lemon Soufflé Vanilla Crème Brulee and Raspberry Milkshake With my mood'o'meter firmly set on girly, I opted for the bright pink Raspberry milkshake! ~~ Packaging ~~ With a rather generous 500ml's the bath and shower gel comes in a very modern looking, clear cylindrical shaped plastic bottle displaying the rich creamy, raspberry pink mixture inside. There's no denying that bottle craftily emulates the appearance of the more exclusive Moltan Brown or Philosophy range but let's face it, the best ideas are always taken and adapted and whilst in appearance the product screams expense, the price tag will keep you smiling. The sleek design of the bottle is certainly eye catching and has been designed as much to target the gift market as it is tailored for a more luxurious personal buy. As you would expect, the front of the bottle displays the name of the product as well as a rather sweet little saying designed to fill the space. In my opinion the sayings on the N-spa fruits range are rather quant, others may find them poetical like me or utter gibberish and more akin to a schnapps advert. The back of the packaging displays the ingredients used as well as the directions for use. ~~ Cost and availability ~~ This product does seem to vary in price but never beyond reasonable. I bought mine from ASDA for the bargain price of two for £5 which I think is amazing value when you consider that you are essentially getting a 500ml bottle for £2.50. There does appear to be a number of different offers surrounding this range and you can also buy them in gift boxes. At such a low cost they really do make for fabulous gifts. You can find this product or a number of other products in the range at most supermarkets as well as selected online stores. ~~ The claim ~~ A refreshing blend of wild raspberry combines with summer flowers and a delicate soft musk, in a luscious deep pink shade. Leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and fragranced with the juicy aroma of raspberries. The scent of summer berries will make you feel impassioned as you shower, or pour under a warm running tap for a calming warm soak. ~~ Let's analyse the claim ~~ "A refreshing blend of wild raspberry combines with summer flowers and a delicate soft musk, in a luscious deep pink shade." As soon as I flipped open the lid the smell of raspberry was evident, not fresh raspberries but the raspberry milkshake as promised. I'm not convinced there is any significant floral aspect to the scent in this product but there is a definite delicate soft musk that allows the scent to gently linger on without being imposing. The colour of the bath and shower gel is certainly a luscious deep shade of pink and looks and smells almost good enough to eat. "Leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and fragranced with the juicy aroma of raspberries. " My skin does feel incredibly moisturised after using this product which I was fairly surprised to discover as most budget body washes don't ever seem to have that affect on my sensitive skin. The raspberry scent does indeed linger and after I have towel dried and dressed I can still smell its subtle fresh scent. "The scent of summer berries will make you feel impassioned as you shower, or pour under a warm running tap for a calming warm soak." Now I don't know about "impassioned" but I certainly feel really pampered and relaxed using this product and it does make for a wonderful body wash as well as a warm and relaxing bubble bath. ~~ Overall opinion ~~ I think that the scent of this product is beautiful, I don't usually buy shower gels that are fruity as I often find they all smell synthetic and sickly but I was impressed by the delicious and feminine aroma of this product right from the word go. As a shower gel I usually pour a small amount on to my puff and lather it up. I found that this product lathers extremely well to the point that if I forget myself and pour a little too much then I end up looking like a giant Santa Claus beard from head to toe! Having the most sensitive skin of all the people I know I am also pleased to report having no irritation or adverse affect after using this product regularly. On the contrary I have found that it leaves my skin feeling fresh, silky and smooth after use. I haven't ever felt the need to use this product as a bubble bath because I usually find after rinsing myself off there is normally enough bubbles in the bath to warrant an extra 10 minute soak without the need to waste any of my yummy shower gel. ~~ Conclusion ~~ I have noticed that this product is often compared to the Philosophy range due to the similarity in packaging. I personally feel that it's a little bit of an unfair comparison when you consider that this product cost me £2.50 compared to in excess of £20 for a product similar in the Philosophy range. If I were to compare the two then obviously my N-Spa raspberry milkshake fruits would go down in estimation but if you take this product on its own merit then it truly is a really lovely shower and bath gel at an affordable price. ~Smells wonderful and lasts ~Lathers well ~Has really attractive packaging making it a super gift idea ~Is not tested on animals ~Excellent price and great value for money ~~ Additional information ~~ For more information about this product of any of N-Spa fruits products you can visit the official website at the following address: http://www.nspafruits.co.uk/nspa/ Thank you for reading!

A lovely smelling bath and shower gel

As me and hubby do our weekly shop I find I am slipping yet another bath foam into the trolley. It was the colour and the name of this one which attracted me to it as I do actually like Raspberry milkshake and just adore the smell. ~~THE BOTTLE~~ The bath and shower gel comes in a clear cylinder shaped bottle which has a black plastic flip lid. The clear design is great as it means that the lovely pink colour can be seen when standing on my shelf and it allows me to easily see how much of the bath foam is left. The flip lid is a great design for when this is used in the shower as it can be opened and closed one handed and does help to keep the bottle clean. The front of the bottle has the product name and n-spa logo in black letting and on the back of the bottle there is a label which has all of the product information, including directions for use, ingredients and contact details for if you have any questions about this product. Also on the front of the bottle as with the others in this range there is a lovely saying which reads as follows:- 'Imagine', said the wise man 'that the moon was made of raspberry. Would all socks be pink and all flowers meringue? Perhaps...and when evening falls shall we slide down the crescent laughing as we splash into warm waters of sweet milk. How enchanting life would be.' I really do like the addition of these phrases and saying as it does give me something to read and think about whilst I am having a long soak. ~~USE~~ This can be used both for showe4r gel and as a bath foam. For me as I am not a fan of showers I use it for a bath foam. I squirt a nice generous amount under the running water and the thick gel sinks into the water. The gel is a pink colour but it does not make the water change colour. The gel does make loads of nice light bubbles. When I opened the lid on this bottle the smell was instant. I have to say that I really does smell like raspberry milkshake. It is not overpowering but very pleasant indeed. When this is used as a bath foam then the smell does fill the bathroom and it does last for a good amount of time. I usually have about 15-20 minutes in my bath and I ma still able to smell this when I get out. When I did get out of the bath and dried off I was able to faintly smell the raspberry milkshake on me but I just wish it would have been stronger. I think that if this was used as a shower gel then the smell might be a bit more. If using this as a shower gel then it is to be massaged into wet skin and then rinsed off. I did notice that it left my skin feeling very moisturised and clean and also hubby who has sensitive skin used this and had no skin irritations or bad effects from it, it did also leave his skin nice and soft. ~~INFO~~ This bath and shower gel is made by n-spa Fruits and comes in a 500ml bottle. For me this lasts well over 2 months as I do have a lot of other bath foams on the go at the same time. I would say that if this was used daily then you would get a good few weeks out of the one bottle. The product ingredients for those wishing to know are:- Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Bethain, Cocamide DEA, Glycerine, Sdoium Chloride, Parfum, Xanthan Gum, Styrene / Acrylates Copolymer,Glycol Disterate, Cocamide MEA, Polyquarternium-7, Citric Acid, Laureth-10, Linalool, Magnesium Nitrate,Sodium Hydroxide, Trideceth-7, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Mathylchloroisothiazolinone, Denatonium Benzoate, Mathylparaben, Magnesium Chloride,Methylisothiazolinone,Propylparaben, CI 14700,CI 17200 This bath and shower gel has not been tested on animals and the bottle is recyclable. ~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~ I paid £2.89 for my bottle from Tesco which felt to be a reasonable price as the bottle does last me for a good amount of time. It is also available in Asda and they do sometimes have this and the others in the range on offer with 2 bottles for £5. ~~OVERALL~~ After using this bath and shower gel for a good few months now I do have to recommend it highly as it smells divine and gives a lovely smelling bath. It leaves skin soft and clean and does not irritate sensitive skin. Just remember that you unfortunately cannot drink it! If you would like any further information on this or any bath and shower gel in the n-spa range then you can find them at www.nirvanaspa.co.uk
