I've just been in the shower and used the nivea harmony time so I thought it would be a good idea to write a review on this on what I thought about it . Nivea Harmony Time is a cream and not a gel so if you prefer gels don't buy this one. The bottle is white plastic with colourful text so you can identify what it is, there is no struggle to squeeze the product out its nice and easy and comes out well and you control how much product comes out of the bottle. I squeeze this onto my bath lily as I like creating more lather and to exfoliate at the same time - this product is good for creating lather. The smell is a floral scent but not too over powering. It has left my skin feeling silky and smooth but I wouldn't say the smell sticks to your skin overly well. Apart from that I do like this product and would buy it again. It's not expensive and available in most stores.
Nivea Harmony Time shower cream comes in a white bottle with a blue lid- Nivea's trademark. The product is scented with white rose petals and "moisturising almond milk", and is a pearlescent white colour, quite thick and lathers up easily.
Although I don't usually go for products scented with either rose or almond, not being a fan of either, something about this product really speaks to me. It is a pretty, girly scent, not at all like I expected. The product foams up into a nice thick lather when used, and it does leave my skin feeling soft and clean.
I prefer to use this shower cream in the evenings, as it smells quite relaxing and doesn't, in my opinion, really suit an early morning wake-up shower. I don't tend to use this product very often, as I use it more as a luxury item than an every day one. It is a great product to use when you've had a long, tiring day, and need a relaxing evening.
Overall, I feel that this is a lovely product, although I don't like using it too often!
I am a huge fan of Nivea as I am aware that is a brand that cares for skin well, and many other products of theirs which I have used in the past have always been of an excellent quality. When I was doing a top up shop in Poundland the other day, I noticed that this Harmony Time shower cream was in there, and I had to pick one up as it was so cheap.
I had previously seen this shower cream in Boots, however it retailed at £2.00, so you are practically saving half price if you try out Poundland. The price is pretty reasonable from either store, so I would happily pay both, and I feel it is around the right benchmark for a brand such as Nivea.
As you can see from the image, it comes in a white bottle like most other Nivea products, and contains a nice pink swirly design and a rose. There are a few more shower creams in the range such as a cashmere one and a happy shower cream, however I felt that 'harmony time' seemed perfect for a shower after a long day, or even for those tough, early mornings. You get 250ml of product in this bottle which is about a standard size of shower gel.
To use this you simply have to open up the lid, turn the bottle upside down and squeeze a small amount out. You do not need much as a little goes a long way with this shower cream. I personally just massage into the skin directly with my hands, however you could use a loofah to do this as well if you prefer. It comes out in a white liquid which is quite thick and creamy. At first I was unaware that it was a shower cream, and I thought it was of an extreme thickness for a gel, but I have to say I am now completely converted to shower creams.
Due to it being that little bit thicker, it means it really massages deep into the skin, and gives an overall much more pleasant experience than using just shower gel. It is a little more luxurious, and I find that this moisturises very well, especially on dry patches. The scent of it is absolutely lovely and is described as being 'a delicate scent of white rose petals'. It is a very subtle smell and does not overpower your shower like many of the zesty scents you can get nowadays. It is instead a very complimentary, floral scent which is perfect for the whole family.
Due to it being a shower cream, I do find that it is much easier to use as it lathers up quickly and starts to moisturise the skin almost immediately. The real results I find are once you are out the shower. Obviously it is not as effective as using a body lotion or something along those lines, but the almond milk within this shower cream really helps to smooth the skin and leave it feeling soft to touch. The beautiful floral scent also sticks to the skin for hours after your shower which I was really impressed with.
Overall, I will definitely be picking up this shower cream again in future if I see it in Poundland, but I would agree it is also worth its £2.00 retail price. The only bad thing I can think of this is that it does seem to run out quite quickly compared to some other shower products I have used in the past. It is not so much a problem for me as a live on my own, but probably not that suitable for large families as it will run out within days. Other than this, an excellent floral shower cream from Nivea which is kind to skin and leaves it feeling lovely and smooth - definitely recommended from me.
This was another item I received as part of a Christmas gift set, and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of this product. The shower gel is fragranced with rose petals, and although this makes it quite traditional and a bit old fashioned sounding, it actually smells really uplifting and I think this is a shower cream which would suit all ages.
The shower cream contains moisturising almond milk to help hydrate your skin. It is PH balance and dermatologically tested, so you can trust this product will be kind to your skin.
The shower cream comes in a bottle with a flip lid, and as with most Nivea shower products it just stands up in your shower as there's nothing to hang it with. The packaging of Nivea products is fairly gender-neutral usually, but this one has the rose pictures on the front, just to let you know that it wouldn't be suitable for men.
I found this shower cream lovely and rich and creamy in texture, and it lathers up really well. The smell is absolutely gorgeous, despite the fact I wasn't expecting to be keen on it because I thought it would smell old fashioned and I'm not overly keen on traditional smelling things which smell too much like lavender or roses for example. It's light, floral and very sweet smelling. I don't really notice the smell lingering on my skin afterwards, but this isn't an issue for me because that's what perfume is for!
I find that Nivea products are usually quite moisturising due to the richness of them, even if they're not advertised as such. This was no exception, and as you're showering you can feel the shower cream softening your skin and leaving it hydrated. It feels really luxurious and silky, and after drying off, my skin feels nice and soft after using this, so I know it's also being kind to my skin and providing it with some much needed hydration.
This was received as part of a gift set, but looking online if you wanted to purchase it on its own, the RRP is £2.49 for 250ml. This seems quite expensive and obviously the more discerning Dooyoo shopper would probably pick this up far cheaper - funnily enough when I googled this product to find out the price, the first website which came up on the list was for Poundland, who are currently offering this product for....yes you guessed it, one British pound!
The best thing about this shower cream in my opinion, is the uplifting fragrance. It's only a simple thing, and not something I would usually pay more for, but on these dark cold mornings it's nice to shower with a product which lifts your mood. This shower cream does make it feel like you're having a little bit of luxury. Although I wouldn't pay full price for this shower cream, I would certainly choose it if I saw it on offer.
