I tend to have a couple of shower gels on the go at any one time so I can choose which one to use and have something a bit different from just one product every time depending on your mood or requirements ie what you are planning on doing like work or a night out etc. As well as a David Beckham shower gel I also have a Nivea shower gel at the moment which I have owned a few times before and I have liked a number of different shower gels from Nivea before. My review today is for the Nivea Vitality Fresh Shower gel which can be bought fairly cheaply at around £2 a bottle and I have seen it regularly on offer.
**The Shower Gel**
This shower gel has a nice fresh scent which has a blue colour. It works well as a 2 in 1 shower gel meaning it's also good for use as a shampoo if you so need. It revitalises your senses while the hydrating shower gel, has a natural ocean minerals scent that is fresh and leaves your skin & hair feeling refreshed. Relax and rejuvenated with every shower or you can use it when having a bath too and it gives the same results. You don't need too much of the shower gel to create a decent lather so this means the product lasts fairly well compared to other shower gels which might need more to lather.
This is an excellent value shower gel which leaves your skin feeling clean and smelling good and it also provides a decent alternative to a bottle of shampoo if you have run out or are in a hurry and just need a quick shower. I have had excellent experiences with Nivea products and particularly with the shower gel range. This particular shower gel is another good product which gives good results at a decent price. I would recommend this shower gel for any man who likes a shower gel with good value. You may have a more expensive shower gel that you want for special occasions well why not get something like this one for everyday use. Of course you'd get the best results with a more expensive shower gel but this is a very good product for the price.
I love the Nivea shaving gel, which I swear by. I occasionally dip into their moisturisers, though they can leave my skin a little over moist at times. I recently tried the Nivea shower gel, which caught my attention thanks to the beautiful ocean blue look. Anything that looks like it might belong in the depths of the sea always grabs my eye!
A shower gel should get you clean, have a brilliant smell and lather up pretty well, those are the main criteria for me. Oh yes, it also should not be drying on the skin or leave a sticky film all around the bathtub, we don't like that!
This one lathers up fine, not excessively, but enough to give you a thorough scrub. You do not need to use that much as it is not overly watery either. This should ensure your gel will last you about a month, if you dip into it once a day.
There is a fresh and summery scent to this this that actually does have a hint of ocean breeze about it. It makes me think of taking those steps down the promenade to the beach. The richness of the blue is great and it is a great encouragement to start lathering yourself up in the morning.
It leaves the skin clean, refreshed and revived and there is not dry flakiness on the skin after which is always a benefit. I suggest using this to wake you up of a morning or when you have come back from a run to give your body a quick fresh zing.
A bottle will cost just less than two quid, putting i in line with Radox's prices. It definitely is a shower gel that men could be attracted too as the smell is not too feminine, but women might enjoy its properties too.
My husband and I tend to use shower gels rather than a traditional bar of soap when we bath or shower. I like to experiment with brands of shower gel and often buy brands that I haven't tried before when I see buy-1-get-1-free offers, and this is how I got to try out the Nivea Vitality Fresh shower gel.
The blue plastic packaging is attractive and the flip-up lid is easy to use, and doesn't mess or get clogged up when you are using it. I always look at the back of the bottle to check out some facts about the product and was pleased to see that Nivea Fresh is both ph balanced and dermatologically approved (not sure who did the approving!).
I have always liked using Nivea products because they do not dry out my skin, and I am happy to report that Nivea Fresh follows in the footsteps of the other Nivea products in that regard. It feels great on the skin and creates a reasonable amount of lather. My favourite part Nivea Fresh is the lovely clean, fresh fragrance that I can only describe as 'marine'. The fragrance is non-gender specific, so my husband does not complain about smelling feminine when taking a shower!
I really like Nivea Fresh and will definitely be buying it in future. A 250ml bottle costs £1,78.
