A few months ago I felt the need to purchase a product to help with the condition of the skin on my legs. I have in the past purchased body scrubs but have been left less than satisfied. This was until I came across this product.

The product I will review is n-spa fruit, orange smoothie body scrub, by nirvana spa, an absolutely delightful scrub that smells good enough to eat!!!

~~~THE PACKAGING~~~

The scrub comes in a very understated tube. The tube is clear with thick black writing on it, which would normally attract me, but the colour of the scrub itself is so vivid that as it shows through the tube it is certainly an eye catcher!!!!
The front of the tube says "ORANGE SMOOTHIE" in large thick black letters on the left hand side, under which is written - "orange, said the wise man, is surely the most happy of colours and even though it's hard to be sure where its place in the rainbow starts and ends, be certain that even the most weary heart will smile when it captures it's sweet scent and fruit awash with love and sunshine."

Yes I know, absolute rubbish, but it at least gives you something to read when in the shower!!!

The tube holds 225ml of scrub and has a shelf life of 36months.


~~~THE SCRUB~~~

The smell of the scrub hits you the second the tube is opened, and is almost edible hence all the "do not eat, this is not a food product!", text over the back of the tube. The exfoliating beads are small and black in colour, and the product is thick and emollient and doesn't disappear into nothing when applied to the skin.
The colour of this product is just as you would expect it to be, bright orange!!!

The directions for use are pretty simple, it just states - apply to cleansed damp skin, gently massage and rinse. You will have to rinse well as once on the beads hold on for dear life!!


~~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~~

I purchased this product for £3.95, from Asda. It could however have been purchased as part of a two for £5.00 deal, but as I hadn't tried it at that point I thought it better to abstain, for this time anyway!!!
Also available in the "FRUIT" range are raspberry, crème brulee vanilla and lemon sorbet, all with the matching bath lotion and all vivid in colour and smelling like a packet of Opal Fruits............sorry!! I mean Starbursts, (god how old am I!!).


~~~CONCLUSION~~~

This product, after only three uses has transformed my skin, from being dry, scaly and lumpy to being smooth and soft to the touch.
I will say, however, that after the use of this product, you must apply a lot of moisturising lotion as this product can dry the skin out a little, but apart from that it's wonderful!!!!
