      Disadvantages

      Bath cream

I was looking for a new bubble bath a while ago, and the bright orange colour of the Mango and Passionflower one jumped out at me! There are actually seven other fragrances in the Natural Collection Bath Cream range- Blackberry and Raspberry Yogurt, Ginseng and Myrrh, Ice Musk, Lavender and Meadowsweet, Murumuru, Pistachio and Babassu and Vanilla Musk. For this review, however, I will only be talking about the Mango and Passionflower, as that’s the one I bought.

      PACKAGING

The bubble bath comes in a clear bottle, through which you can see the bright orange bath cream, which has a slight shimmer to it. The label features a picture of a large purple flower, kind of like a lily, with a picture of a man and woman dancing in the middle of it. It reminded me a bit of thumbalina, but I don’t know if that’s what it’s supposed to be or not. Whichever way you look at it the picture’s cute, however I can’t decide if the bright orange colour looks tacky or tropical!

      SMELL

This has a very strong, vibrant fruity smell. You can definitely smell the mango in this, I’m not sure about passionflower however, as to be honest, I don’t know what passionflower smells like! It reminds me slightly of those tropical, mixed fruit drinks that you get like Hi-5 or Umbongo (do they actually make either of those anymore!?). The Natural Collection range is aimed at teenagers, and I think that this is most likely a smell that will appeal more to a younger audience, and it’s quite fun.

      USING IT

As with all bath creams/foams, you simply pour this into your bath under running water. This is a bath cream rather than a bubble bath, so I wouldn’t necessarily expect it to create a large amount of bubbles, but I have found that you do get a fairly decent amount of bubbles from just a small amount of product. One thing I will say is that because the cream is so thick, I find that I have to really shake it to get it to come out, as if you merely turn the bottle upside down you will be waiting ages for the cream to come out!
The smell when in the water is not as strong or overpowering as when it’s in the bottle, in fact you can barely smell the stuff at all, which I found disappointing. Further to that it doesn’t leave any fragrance on the skin, which is surprising.
It didn’t make any difference to the texture of my skin – no moisturising properties, didn’t leave my skin softer or anything like that – overall I would say it was just pretty average.

      PRICE

This costs £1.99 for a 250ml bottle from Boots, and can also be purchased from www.boots.com
