I am a great fan of fruit-scented body butters or body lotions so I didn't think much before I ordered Oriflame Body Cream with Antioxidant Grapes & Echinacea even though I had not idea what to expect of this body cream.
It comes in a purple round container with a transparent lid (however, there is a sticker covering almost the entire lid so you won't see much). The vessel is very convenient, and even though it isn't very thick I didn't manage to break it (it has actually happened before); it is easy to open and close. Most importantly, its round shape allows me to use every single ml of this body cream (nothing annoys me as much as leftovers in a vessel that I cannot use).
The cream itself has a pale purple colour and is fairly thick. However, it is easy to apply and the skin absorbs it very quickly. It has a very pleasant but slightly artificial scent of grapes (and I can sense a bit of echinacea but it smells mostly of grapes). This scent is quite mild and disappears after a couple of hours (so if strong scents cause you a headache, this is something for you).
It does moisturise the skin - after I had been applying this body cream for several days, I have noticed that my skin became softer and dry parts of my skin (i.e. elbows) weren't dry anymore! I must say that they weren't as soft as my other body parts but I was still quite pleased with the effect. After using this body cream, the skin felt refreshed. However, the producer says that it is a 24H body cream which I think is an exaggeration.
Overall, it is a good body cream. Unfortunately, its normal price £4.75 is too high for me (it an be found on offer quite frequently) so I don't think I am going to buy it again.
