“ Brand: Oriflame / Texture: Cream / Type: Shower Gel / Suitable for: Body / What it does: Refreshes, „
During hot summer months I tend to take a shower even several times a day. Most of the times I need a refreshing shower gel as warm weather makes me feel a bit sleepy therefore I thought that Oriflame Discover Scandinavia Fresh Seascape Shower Gel was a perfect choice for me.
It was released more than a year ago with other shower gels inspired by different places around the world (for example, Marrakech or Borneo). I chose Scandinavia because I associated it with something cooler and more refreshing.
It comes in a transparent bottle with a blue lid. The shower gel itself has a blue colour so this is definitely the sort of thing I would like to use when it's hot.
When I opened the lid and smelled it, I could scent something fresh but unfortunately, this scent was quite artificial. It reminded me a bit of some detergents you can use to clean your bathroom so I was quite disappointed. I still decided to give this shower gel a chance and I started using it as the scent did not put me off that much.
The shower gel is reasonably thick - by that I mean that it isn't extremely runny and you won't use half a bottle at once but it isn't so thick that you manage to get only a tiny little bit out either. I usually use it on my puff so it lathers up extremely easily and produces a lot of foam.
It cleanses well leaving a very refreshing after feeling - something I really need during holidays). The scent, thank goodness, disappears very quickly from both my skin and my bathroom.
Compared to other Oriflame shower gels this one isn't overly expensive - a 250 ml bottle costs £3.25. I am, however, going to look for something else as I am not a great fan of artificial scents.
Thank you for reading my review.
