      Disadvantages

      you can buy better ones

I like trying out new things so when I saw Oriflame Shower Gel with Pomegranate & Cherry Blossom in the catalogue, I didn't hesitate and I ordered it despite quite a high price.

It comes in a standard Oriflame Nature bottle - it is transparent and the lid is red at the top. The shower gel itself is red so you can easily see how much is left in the bottle.

The scent is not very intense (especially compared to the Body Shop that I normally use). You can definitely tell it is cherry scent but it smells quite artificial and unlike other cherry cosmetics that I have used, it doesn't smell like cherry yoghurt. I am not the greatest fan of this scent but it is OK. It disappears from both the skin and the bathroom fairly quickly.

The shower gel itself is meant to be exfoliating. Therefore you can see a lot of scrubbing bits and bobs in it. As it is a shower gel for daily use, it gives a rather mild effect (so if you are looking for a proper scrub then this is not for you). After a couple of times after using it, my skin became softer and a bit baby-like but if you are looking for immediate effect then again, this is not for you. You won't really feel much exfoliating while using this shower gel.

I had a dilemma whether apply this shower gel straight on my skin on whether use a shower puff so I tried both. When I applied it on my skin, I could feel more exfoliation but at the same time, I used up quite a lot of this product. When I used a shower puff, I produced a lot of foam using a relatively small amount of this shower gel but I couldn't feel any exfoliation (and when I use an exfoliating cosmetic, I like to feel it on my skin even a little bit).

Overall, I have tried better and cheaper products and I definitely won't buy this one again. A bottle of 200 ml would normally cost something around £5.45 but I bought it cheaper on offer.
