a decent shower gel but slightly too expensive

I have a sweet tooth and even if it comes to fruits, I eat only the sweet ones. Therefore I am not a fan of grapefruit and I would never think of getting a grapefruit cosmetics. I think that Oriflame Shower Gel with Toning Pink Grapefruit & Ginkgo was a present from someone as I probably would never buy it myself.

It comes in a transparent, 200ml bottle. It has a fairly plain design - only pictures of grapefruit on the front. It is quite difficult to open the lid so it may be a problem if you have long nails but clumsy people (like me) will appreciate that they won't spill it all over the bathroom floor.

The shower gel has a pink colour and you will see how much of it there's left in the bottle. The scent is absolutely fantastic (and this says a person that hates grapefruits!). It is sweet and resembles grapefruit perfectly well. It is isn't also too intense so you won't get sick of it. I fell in love with it immediately. It lasts reasonably long - you won't get fed up with it but enjoy the lovely smell in your bathroom for a bit (it goes quite quickly from the skin).

I must admit it does its job well; it cleanses (producing a lot of foam, especially when you use a puff) the skin well and leaves a very 'fresh' feeling. It doesn't moisturise my skin - but I don't expect it from a shower gel (after all, I need an excuse to buy a body butter!).

I liked it so much that I bought a body cream and a body scrub to go with it. It took me around three weeks to finish off one 200ml bottle (and I take a shower once a day). Unfortunately, it is quite pricey - for one bottle you will pay £4.45.
