      a good exfoliating shower cream

Oriflame Silk & Cashmere Exfoliating Shower Cream was a present from a relative who is an Oriflame rep. I think it was a cosmetic from limited edition as I haven't seen it in the most recent catalogues.

It comes in a dark violet/purple tube with a transparent lid at the bottom. I personally think that it looks very luxurious. The plastic is quite smooth so at first I was worried that it will end up on the floor when I pick it up with wet hands however there is enough friction to prevent it.

The shower cream has a white creamy colour and you can see a lot of tiny scrubbing bits and bobs in it. It is called 'shower cream' not without a reason; it has a very creamy and smooth texture. I don't like using my puff with exfoliating shower gels or scrubs so I spread it with my hands. It produces quite a lot of lather easily.

It is a mild scrub so you can feel free to use it every day as it leaves nice and fresh after-feeling however if you are looking for something very exofoliating then this is not for you. I must admit that after a week or so of regular usage my skin became softer and smoother however I don't think this shower cream moisturised it (but it didn't dry it out either).

It has a very nice and delicate scent - it isn't flowery or anything and I cannot really compare it to the smell of cashmere and silk as I don't know what they smell like but I definitely like the scent of this shower cream. It disappears quickly from your skin and you can barely smell it in the bathroom.

Overall, this is a good shower cream but unfortunately it isn't available anymore and I am not sure how much it cost when it was in the catalogue.
