I usually buy this product from Asda for £1.99, but there are often special offers on original source, and I have been known to pick up a bottle or two from the 99p store making it even better value for money. Original Source is certainly a brand that I trust, their products are good quality while being value for money and very user friendly. It would take a lot to pull me away from this brand and this product....more

Original Source Coconut and Almond Shower Gel: Nutty nourishment (430 words)

I use a lot of different shower gels, but this is the only one I keep buying again and again because I really love it! It usually costs about £1.99, but you can usually find it cheaper if you shop around in places like Bodycare or pound shops. It comes in a tall thin clear plastic bottle with a black flip lid that it stands on. This makes it easier to get all the last bits out without having to stand around for ages in the shower waiting for it to come out. It says 'New' on the bottle, but I've been buying this for quite a while so I don't think it is, maybe they just mean it's new packaging or a new recipe, because the range has been revamped a couple of ...  Read the complete review

I am soon to go on my holidays and rather than fill my suitcase with my ever growing collection of Lush products I decided to look around for something a little bit different and easier to carry with me in my suitcase. I have used Original Source products a fair few times now, like Lush they seem to blend together a plethora of interesting ingredients which either smell utterly delightful or not so nice to be honest. I first came across Original Source products when I was sent a Tea Tree Oil Shower Gel sample and since then I become a Lush addict and never looked back. So upon my recent shopping trip I came across an offer on Original Source ...  Read the complete review

Original Source Coconut and Almond Shower Gel: Summer sun in a bottle (323 words)

I was initially attracted to Original Source products because of their high content of essential oils, but after trying one 'flavour' I was keen to try more. The coconut and almond smells absolutely divine, it reminds me of cherry bakewells. It's not an overpowering synthetic smell though like some other branded products can be, this smells very authentic and extremely delicious. The smell of the product doesn't appear to linger all day or overpower my perfume (which is something I'm personally very pleased about) but having said that I smell 'clean'. The packaging is perfectly designed to expel the amount of product you want to use, it doesn't pour out ...  Read the complete review

Really needed a holiday to test this properly... (472 words)

The packaging has been changed on this bottle, it now says "Seasonal Edition" and "For Summer Sabotaged Skin" on it, as well as describing itself as "Nourishing Almond and Coconut" - a lot of information just on the front label! I'm not sure if the recipe is any different, but I guess that Original Source wanted to corner the market when we were all so dried and dehydrated during a long hot British summer - yeah, that's why there is plenty still on the shelf at the end of October then. This shower gel claims that it's 100% pure and natural essential oils will nourish skin suffering from the drying effects of the summer - almond ...  Read the complete review

…What makes Original Source different?... Original Source uses 100% pure and natural essential oils, producing the most amazing scented bath and shower products. Being a company that uses natural resources, you would expect them to have strong ethical policies on the whole. And they do. Not only are Original Source taking a firm stand against animal testing they go the extra mile to ensure they do not use any third parties in the production of their products that do not follow this policy. As such, their products have been recognised by the Vegan society. As Original Source uses natural products the impact on the environment is lessened and ...  Read the complete review
