Advantages: Leaves you feeling refreshed, smells nice

Disadvantages: Tingling is weird!

This is one of my favourites of the Original Source shower gels. It's unique to the others because it really makes your skin tingle. I think this may be the tea-tree that does this, but it really helps you to wake up in the the morning with this strange sensation - It took me a while to actually get used to the feeling, but now I love it!

The gel inside is a bright green colour, and smells wonderful and minty fresh! It leaves your skin smelling really fresh and clean afterwards which is great to have for the rest of the day ahead of you! The bottle itself is clear so you can see the level of shower gel that you have left in the bottle. The gel itself is dispensed via the black lid at the bottom, you just squeeze it out through the hole. I like shower gels which stand up that way, so that the gel is close to the opening, it means I don't have to waste time trying to shake and squeeze the gel to the bottom of the bottle, as it's already there!

The gel itself really lathers up well, and it gets quite foamy which I love! It doesn't take too much gel to do so either, so it helps the bottle to last longer, as you don't have to use as much. A few seconds after you rub it into your skin you start to feel it tingle! It's a really unique sensation but one that really awakens you, it makes your skin go all cold, but in a nice way! It is a nice contrast to the hot water.

The shower gel smells wonderful. It really does smell natural, and the bottle states that there are about 7000 mint leaves that go into one bottle, which is crazy!

My boyfriend used to use this too but he has sensitive skin and had to stop using it eventually - The tingles were too much for him and he couldn't take it! Because of this I would say to be cautious if your skin is extra sensitive.

The bottle of shower gel normally costs me just under £2, and will last me around a month, which I think is great value! You can buy it from most pharmacists or supermarkets, and they sometimes have special offers too so you can get buy one, get one free!

Summary: Nice way to wake yourself up in the morning!
