Palmolive Aroma Therapy Shower Gel
Advantages: Lovely fragrance
Disadvantages: None for me
I recently received some coupons from Tesco for various products one of which was Palmolive shower gel, when it comes to buying this sort of product I do not stick to the same brand and will buy whatever is on offer at the time, however I have purchased Palmolive in the past and have always been pleased with it. When it came to doing my shopping I noticed that the Palmolive Aromatherapy shower gel was on offer so combined with the coupon I had I was getting it for just a few pence, so I decided to give Palmolive aroma Therapy Sensual a try as this was a particular shower gel in the range that I had not tried before.
The Palmolive Aromatherapy Sensual shower gel come in a clear plastic bottle with a transparent red lid on the top which has a small flat top that you flip open and click shut. The name Palmolive is written at the top of the bottle in a green rectangle with the rest of the name written just below in white writing, there is also a red shape in the middle of the bottle which could be a blurry flower head with a drop of oil coming from it.
The back of the bottle has a shiny pinky red coloured label on it which contains all of the product information including facts about the shower gel and the ingredients. I would say that the packaging is quite plain and simple, it is nothing fancy but tells you everything you need to know.
The Shower Gel
This shower gel is a dark red colour, it is of a reasonably thick consistency. Palmolive Aromatherapy Sensual shower gel is described as having a deep vibrant fragrance, it contains Moroccan rose essential oil and ginseng, when I first smelt this shower gel I could definitely detect the Moroccan rose essential oil, this was quite a strong fragrance, however I couldn't really detect anything else, the shower gel had a floral fragrance to it which was at the same time sweet, I did particularly like the fragrance of this shower gel, I'm not sure what is meant by deep and vibrant but it was definitely pleasant and left my skin feeling clean and fresh.
I applied a small amount of the product to a sponge and lathered it up, I found that you didn't need a huge amount of the shower gel in order to produce a decent amount of lather, once rinsed and dried I could still slightly smell the shower gel on my skin, although this was overly strong, however my skin did feel lovely and soft.
Price and Availability
I purchased my bottle of Palmolive Aromatherapy Sensual shower gel from Tesco, however this product is also available from shops such as Superdrug as well as other supermarkets. In Tesco the 250ml bottle is sold for £2.00, however when I purchased it it was half price and I also had a money off coupon meaning it cost me hardly anything, however I think it is worth the money and if there wasn't anything else on offer I would be happy to pay this.
I have used the whole bottle of Palmolive Aromatherapy Sensual shower gel and have been very pleased with it, every time I used the shower gel my skin felt fresh and soft, the fragrance didn't linger for long but I did like the way it made my skin feel afterwards.
This product is reasonably priced especially as it is long lasting, you only need a small amount of the shower gel meaning it goes a long way. It makes no promises about being suitable for sensitive skin, however I personally have not experienced any problems with it. I would definitely purchase this product again as I love the sweet floral fragrance and it is something that is suitable for the whole family, I would highly recommend this shower gel.
Summary: A lovely shower gel I would buy again
