      Natural bath milk with almonds

I like Palmolive products and often buy toiletries in this range as they are always very good quality and there are always offers on at supermarkets and chemists. I bought this from Asda for just 99p which I thought was a great price for a 250m bottle. There were quite a few fragrances to choose from and I chose this Almond sensitive one as I have had it before and love the light almond fragrance.

I find that you only need to pour the equivalent of a capful into a bath which doesn't seem very much but it really does go an awful long way. I will usually tip the milk in under a running tap as I find that this seems to spread it through the water quickly. As soon as you tip it into the water you get a sweet fragrance which is really fresh and clean smelling. The liquid itself is a white milky colour and when it first goes in the water it turn the water slightly milky but it then seems to spread out and the water becomes clear.

I can smell the smell on my body for a long time afterwards and also on my hair if I have put my head under the water. I can also smell it on my hair even when I have washed it with other shampoo and conditioner as the sweet fragrance seems to linger which is lovely. I would say that this could be used by both sexes as it is not perfumed or floral.

I love this bath milk and look forward to having a bath so that I can use it and I will definitely buy this brand and this fragrance again.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

I'm a fussy devil and this ticks all the right boxes in my world!

Anyone who regularly reads my reviews will by now know of my real fondness for toiletries in general! However I do love a lovely long soak and normally because I truly treasure my bath-times so much I will opt to pay quite a bit for something rather luxurious and tend to steer of Radox, Palmolive and the likes because this may sound awfully snobby but the image purveyed about these products and the general look of them doesn't appeal to me and I'm quite a brand snob.

However this usually retails at about £3.99 a bottle so when I saw it on offer in my local Sainsbury's priced at 99p I couldn't exactly be not open to trying out a new product so I bagged one to try of course! I'm never one to pass by a bargain after-all lol.

      The Packaging....

500ml white plastic bottle with a slightly see through peachy coloured see through twist on/off large cap to the top of it concealing a large hole. On the front in white and burgundy writing I'm told it is Palmolive 'Naturals' Bath Milk With Almond & Moisturising Milk which is designed for sensitive skin and there is a picture of a couple of almonds on the front to of course represent the fragrance and ingredients within the product. On the back of the bottle this time all in dark green writing I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, contact details for Colgate-Palmolive are given, the recycle symbol and size are displayed and finally there is bar-code on there. This is a very simple looking bottle not particularly directed at either sex but kinda looks suitable for family use type of thing.

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Bottle....

Palmolive sensitive Bath Milk is enriched with moisturising milk with almond extract. It's velvety formula caresses your sensitive skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and soft. Dermatologically tested.

      Me Using It....

You really don't need very much of this velvety smooth, almondy smelling creamy looking mixture at all. Simply squeeze the bottle very gently add a blob of it (small) under running tap/s and let it froth up with big, white, rich bubbles and letting off a really pleasant, unisex (as suspected) fragrance.

Once in the water you'll notice how wonderfully soft the water is and that the bubbles stick around in a none sticky way for well over an hour caressing the skin as promised giving no skin aversions at all due to it's promised sensitive formula. The smells also hangs about and when you get out of the water you'll notice skin feels refreshed, is delicately fragranced and to to the touch...yep definitely softer than prior to bathing. The smell lingers gently on the skin for a good few hours after your dunk and all round I think this is a marvelous bath milk which actually as I type that to you I'm still surprised for some reason!

This not only is an affordable product to purchase (even if at full price) not only because of the benefits it gives to the skin but in trying times when we're all feeling the pinch financially this brand/product allows us a touch of class and luxury at not just an affordable outlay price but they've created something very economical to use and for that reason I'm mighty impressed with it. Ok the packaging could do with a bit of funking up for us hip chicks that like to display nice bottles in our bathrooms but hey buy yourself a lovely glass decanter and no one will know the difference!

A really great family product and this can be found in all good chemist and supermarkets!
