I have tried this as the Palmolive Naturals range is very cheap where I live, and are often on sale. I have purchased it twice in total, both bottles used up. I have nothing negative to say about this shower gel, so let's get started with the positives!
I first bought it while on a hurry to finish my shopping. It was on sale ( 1 euro) so I just grabbed it and went home. So you can say I was lucky to find it. The bottle is oval shaped, and there is a cap located at the top which you can flip to open. The gel itself can be used with a loofah or hands, although I always prefer a loofah for an easier use and rich foam.
The gel has an off-white color, is very creamy to the touch, and surprisingly the smell did not remind me of olives at all. It smells pleasantly floral, and is on the heavier scent side. However it's not strong enough to put me of. The smell can linger on the skin for max 1 hour after getting out of the shower.
How does it perform? Due to the rich foam that is formed by the gel, you can instantly feel that it's no ordinary shower gel. It's so rich and creamy and fragrant, probably the best texture I have ever tried in a shower gel. That's why I really love these Palmolive ones. This one is supposed to have olive oil extract, and I can't say that it's conflicting because it does leave my skin feel very smooth and moisturized. On top of that is does a good job cleaning the skin.
Overall this is in my list of good quality products, that I will keep buying as long as the price is reasonable!

Mrs B is a busy old bee right now that we have Baby B who seems to take up all of our time. It's not very often that she is able to find the time to have a luxurious bath and relax and she can't justify spending a fortune on luxrious bath products either but this doesn't mean that she doesn't want to actually have a spot of luxury now that she is so busy.
Mrs B decided to treat herself to this shower milk last time we went shopping. After a very hectic week with a teething 9 month old Mrs B decided that she needed to feel human again and whilst we were in our local Sainsbury's she disappeared off down the 'smelly' aisle and came back with this bottle of palmolive. She declared that she needed it as she wantd to treat herself to something different to just a standard soap and that it was cheap and smelt good.
Palmolive was a company created in New York city nearly 200 years ago and specialised in soap and candles. Their company has just simply grown and grown and now sells in over 200 countries with many brands that you will have heard of including Colgate, Ajax, and even Hill's pet nutrition!
The palmolive range is vast some of the products available from this company include colgate tooth paste, toothbrushes, mouthwashes, shower gels, shower milks, soaps, soft and gentle body sprays, shampoo and many more. The naturals range is one of palmolive's selections and this is the catergory which this moisturing milk falls into. As well as almond flavour there are also others available including:
Milk and Honey

Palmolive Naturals Shower Milke Sensitive with Almonds & Moisturing Milk
When I first saw this bottle I thought it was quite unattractive to look at. The bottle is white plastic with a peachy coloured top and a mossy green logo just below it. I am not sure who decided that the mossy green would really go nicely with a peachy lid but anyway! The picture is of yellowy looking almonds that made me have to do a double take just to check that they were actually almonds! It's quite a simple bottle but it just doesn't look very attractive, it's not the sort of bath product that would look great in our new ultra modern bathroom, more the bottle you'd prefer to keep hidden in the cupboard! I'm in two minds as to whether I like the fact the bottle isn't see-through. I find that if bottles are see-through then at least you know how much you have left and I quite like it that the light can shine through the bottle and make the liquid inside glow in a way which makes it look attractive. I find that boring white plastic just isn't very pretty to look at.
The lid is a flip lid which easily opens. We have a flip lid for our baby's moisturiser and it is very fiddly and impossible to open with wet hands- not useful- however this one opens easily whether you have wet hands or not and clips back on easily too. I think in terms of how lids work this is much better than a screw cap so you don't have to fiddle around with it whilst you have wet hands.
When opening the lid and smelling the milk inside I was pleasantly surprised. It smelt like almonds as I was expecting but it wasn't a bitter kind of smell it was actually quite a subtle smell and not at all overpowering which was nice. I don't like it when you have products that smell so strong that they're just too overpowering and linger for a long time.
After Mrs B used this the smell lingered on her in the same subtle way. I liked the fact that it was an unusual smell, unlike a floral or overly sweet smell like a lot of female shower products seem to be. This one isn't sickly sweet it is very subtle and actually quite mouthwatering!
Mrs B's verdict
Mrs B claimed that when she used this she didn't need to use a lot, just a small amount went a long way. She was a little unsure as to how it would work with it being labelled a milk and not a gel. I must admit I was a little dubious I mean who would wash in milk? But it apparently is just a branding name and I must admit it is slightly more appealing than gel which I always associate with hair styling! The liquid was quite thick and milk coloured and once applied to the body or a flannel/sponge it soon lathered up and became soapy so easy to wash with. Mrs B said not much was needed at all which she thought made it better than the other shower gels she has used before where she would have to keep reaching for more to make it go a long way.
This product claims that it moisturises your skin and provides you with an indulging shower experience. I have asked Mrs B if that is the case and she says that she did feel as though she was having a big of luxury when using it as it was very soft on the skin to apply and the subtle smell made her feel as though it wasn't just a cheap shower gel. Mrs B has quite dry skin and often after using some scrubs and soaps she feels as though her skin is even more dry as a result and so uses quite a lot of moisturiser, however, since using this shower gel she hasn't really used any moisturiser at all. After the shower she says that her skin feels softer and she feels that it does do exactly what it claims to.
Mrs B is quite particular when it comes to bath products, she doesn't like to change products frequently and sticks to what she likes and so this is how I know that this shower milk is a winner- Mrs B is actually using this daily and so it's a great success!
I think that this shower product has been a great success in our household with Mrs B being impressed with it and saying that she is going to continue to use it. I like the fact that the smell is subtle but still strong enough to actually be able to appreciate it without having to use vast amounts whilst showering.
It seems to have had a positive effect on her skin and does do what it sets out to do- to moisturise. I like the fact that it is quite a simple product, they haven't tried to be fancy with making the bottle all and stream-lined like the modern brands seem to be doing and that they have focussed more on the product than it's look. It frustrates me when you buy expensive products because they look good then they don't actually do what they say they will!
Depending upon offers this product does vary in price. Some research shows that it is available from:
Superdrug 250 mls for £1.49
Boots 500 mls £1.99
I definitely think that it's worth the money as it does what it says it will and you don't need to use a great deal so it lasts a long while.
Mrs B and I definitely recommend it.
I bought this product by chance as it was on offer - the thought of having olive with milk in a shower cream just seemed quite bizzare to me! I have often gone for more floral or fruity shower creams, because they always make me feel natural and refreshed - and it appeared that this olive shower milk by Palmolive is quite a nice alternative to have too!
-- PACKAGING --
This shower milk comes in two sizes -- 250 ml and a much larger, family pack of 750 ml. The 250 ml pack comes in an oval-ish shape bottle with a flat bottom. This is a flip-open top type of bottle so you have to turn the bottle around to get the milk out. A slight problem with this packaging is that, when you are finishing the bottle, you can't just flip the bottle over and let it stand over on its head by itself - what I do is that I end up having to prop it against another bottle, which isn't that big of an inconvenience although I would have still much preferred a flat top.
-- THE SHOWER CREAM --
This shower cream contains extracts of 100% natural origin of olive and aloe vera. To be honest, I couldn't really smell the aloe vera when I was using it, but the olive scent was certainly present and an absolute pleasure in the bathroom. It leaves me feeling refreshed and clean.
This is a rather milky/creamy shower cream that forms quite a thick lather very easily. As a result, my skin felt really smooth and hydrated. One good thing about this shower cream is that it doesn't seem to leave stains on the bath tub or shower walls. Much to my despair, I found that many of the other scenty shower creams tend to leave stains all around the bathroom if you don't take care to wash down your walls/tub immediately after you bathe, so this is a mega plus point for this product.
-- PRICE AND AVAILABILITY --
This product can be found in your usual supermarkets and drug stores (Boots, Superdrug, etc.). The 750 ml bottle is currently available at Tesco for £3.49, which is quite a steal for such a lovely shower cream.
-- CONCLUSION --
If you're looking for another shower cream for a change, I really do recommend that you try this! I believe that the light olive scent plus moisturizing milkiness of this cream will not disappoint you, just as it had not disappointed me!
Palmolive Olive milk
Palmolive is a part of Colgate, Colgate is a company with a rich history that you can read on the site of Colgate. Just in brief. The history of Colgate goes back to the year 1806 when the company was founded by William Colgate. They started with soap and candles. In 1920 the Palmolive company started with sales of soap. In 1928 Colgate and Palmolive have merged.
The bottle has a fresh look and an olive green round cap on which the bottle can't stand on. The awkward shape makes it impossible to open the bottle with one hand. On the front of the bottle is a picture of an olive twig and it says the product is ultra hydrating.
The color of the substances is very light. The scent is sweet and a bit floral. I also find it a "luxury" smell and I use this shower cream mostly at night and when I want to have a bit the feeling of luxury around me have. The substance is quite viscous so it doesn't come out the bottle as easy. The substance is also quite concentrated so you don't need much. After showering with this product the fragrance certainly hangs some time around you.
I am always very impressed by the stuff of palmoliv. Regarding the product itself is a fine product, it doesn't dry out your skin and this is one of the few shower body lotion that you need much for when showering. The substance is quite concentrated and spread out easy enough when applying it. A down side is the bottle itself and for that reason I gave this product three stars.
Palmolive Shower cream Olive milk
The bottle itself is white and the cap is olive green. The cap is easy to click open. The front features the Palmolive logo. Furthermore, it stated that there's olive in it. On the back are the ingredients listed and what the cream does for you. There's also the site of Palmolive to find more information about the product.
This series products all have a natural ingredient. So you have the following variants: cherry, almond, peach and olive milk. All products are aimed for optimal skin care with the power of nature. This shower cream contains olive milk which is very nourishing for the skin. It is therefore very ideal for people who suffer from dry skin.
The product is a white and feels soft but it feels thicker than milk. The smell is soft, fresh, but it has certainly no olive flavour. It has a soapy smell and the liquid looks more like a milk than as oil. It's very easy to spread over your body but it doesn't stick so it's easy to wash of. What remains is a lovely soft skin.
The smell of the product is really nice and doesn't make me think about olives at all. It has more a sweet smell. My skin feels nice and soft afterwards. Sometimes I do have such a dry skin and this product really helps. After one shower I can feel a difference and after 3 to 4 showers I can notice that the dry skin is gone. Really good and five stars for me.
You can get the bottle for 1,29 pounds where you get 250ml. I think this is a faire price compared to other shower creams and love to use it in case of dry skin even when it's not really a manly product to use. If it helps it helps!
Oooh I am so glad that Dooyoo has included this fantastic product on its list. I have been using it for a few weeks now, and was eager to sing its praises, and now I can, thanks Dooyoo!
Palmolive Naturals Olive Shower Milk is available from most retailers and supermarkets, and is currently about £1.29 for a 250 ml bottle at Asda, although they have got a 3 for £3 offer going at the moment. I love the Palmolive brand, because their products do not irritate my eczema and sensitive skin, and all of their stuff smells gorgeous. I opted for the Olive Shower Milk, because it looked very hydrating, and my skin is prone to a lot of dryness. I find a lot of shower products dry the skin even further, which is not good news.
The packaging is understated and very "natural" looking, which fits the brand perfectly, and gives the impression that you are buying a pure product. The lid is flip top and very easy to open, even in the shower when your hands are wet!
I really love the consistency and look of this product. The shower milk is light, and yet has a slightly oily feel about it, so you know it is going to do a good job keeping your skin moisturised. The milk is a pale buttermilk colour, which again, makes it look natural and unprocessed. The smell is absolutely divine, although the packaging is not really reflective of that. I am familiar with the small of olive oil, so I think I was expecting something similar, but this shower milk had a lovely light floral scent, which smelled quite strong when it came out of the bottle, but dissipated when applied.
The milk lathers up really well, in fact, rather too well, as you will find if you apply too much! A little certainly goes a long way here. It feels really nice when you are applying it, as it glides on easily and feels moisturising and creamy. This product feels much more luxurious than your average shower gel, in fact it feels like a much more expensive, luxury product. Although it smells floral, it is not too feminine for a man to use. Everyone in our family uses it.
When we were on holiday last week, the Palmolive got used for everything: as a hand soap, shower gel and bath product. It rose to the task brilliantly, although I did use it all up!
It is definitely skin friendly, and I always say that if something suits my allergic skin it must be good. I will certainly be buying another bottle soon and do not hesitate to recommend it to others. There are several products in the "Naturals" range, including a Honey one and a Cherry one, so I will be looking forward to trying them out too.
Palmolive naturals shower milk is defineatly a product that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cheap and quick clean.
Palmolive is part of the "Colgate-Palmolive" company who bring us Colgate toothpastes as well.
The product is shower milk, which in any others words is portrayed as shower gel; but as the mixture itself looks and almost smells like milk I thought it was quite clever.
This product specifically caught my attention in the store when I saw that it was ultra moisturising, which for me I have to spend a lot on moisturiser as well so i thought hmmm.. 2in1. There is 250ml in the bottle which proves useful for not having to spend a lot on more than 1 shower gel ( shower milk, sorry!)
I bought this product for £1 in my local Asda Wall mart store. The price proves useful for anyone trying to cut the budget a bit and of course it proved even more useful when the results were outstanding.
I wen't to use my product for the first time yesterday and when I lifted the lid my senses went in to a spiral of excitement! The product actually looke like milk, only thicker. I added a pea sized ammount of (milk/gel) to my foamy sponge and massaged it into a nice lather, my bathroom turned in to a foaming frenzy and rinsed it off with warm water, or in my case a shower.
When I was getting ready i noticed my skin was as soft as ever, I had never felt such moisture in my skin which lifted my mood completely, and the smell just awakened me to the beauty of nature.
The scent of the (Gel/Milk) was apparently olive but in all truthfullness I just couldn't place olive in the smell, i knowe that sounds silly but i woud not class is as a disadvantage.

I get through a lot an awful lot of shower gels/milks and creams in a week so when I saw this particular one in a pound shop (usually retailing at about £1.62 a bottle) in all good chemists and supermarkets I knew I was getting a bit of bargain and knowing how good olives are for the skin (at hydrating it) I couldn't resist buying it!
250ml white oval shaped bottle with a flat base to it and to the top of it a green flip-top lid that conceals a small hole. On the front of the bottle I am told that it is Palmolive Naturals Shower Milk, Ultra Mositurising 'With Olive & Moisurising Milk' and there is a picture depicted on there of green olives. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed as is the size and contact details for Colgate-Palmolive are given. It's a nice enough, unisex bottle that contains enough information as you need and it's easy to use etc.
The shower Cream Itself:
This really is a rather nice shower milk! It' is white and a thinnish, creamy looking liquid that has a wonderful, sweet and natural aroma of flowers to it thus making it rather feminine in it's approach but not overpowering in fragrance.
You don't need very much of this at all the get a lovely lather going on, it releases it's fragrance as it goes and smoothes on skin beautifully making it easy to shave your bits and pieces with if desired!
It cleans the skin beautifully, leaves it smelling fresh and most of all hydrated and supple in a none greasy way.
This is simply wonderful on every level. It smells great and that fragrance lingers delicately in the background for a good couple of hours. It cleanses the skin brilliantly and above all leaves my skin feeling really supple and smooth! I won't hesitate in purchasing this one again for sure!
