“ Brand: Palmolive / Creams / Type: Milk „
The other week whilst strolling around my local Wilkinson's store I spotted loads of different fragranced shower creams and milks on offer for 50p a bottlefrom the Palmolive range instead of the usual price being about £1.00 a bottle and so I stocked up and bought a couple in every fragrance and this of course was one of them.
This comes in a mainly white plastic bottle with a light blue transparent top to it to which part of it is flip top style concealing a small hole and on the front of it we are told that it is Palmolive Naturals Milk & Sensitive 'With extracts of 100% natural origin', With Pure Milk Proteins Shower Milk and there is a picture shown of what to me looks like swirling milk then on the back of the bottle other information listed includes being told a little bit about the product, the ingredients are listed, the size is stated which is 250ml and contact details for the manufacturer are given. Nice enough and rather unisex looking bottle this is and easy to use and informative enough too.
The Shower Milk Itself:
What I like about this shower milk is how little you need to use of this thickish white but still runny liquid to get a nice soothing lather going going on. One blob and go basically is what this is and the scent of it is sort of sweet and soapy with a hint of a floral tone to it.
This feels ever so soft and gently mnoisturising in use, I can shave my bits and bobs with it due to the amount of rich white lather it gives off and it rinses off my skin easily too.
My skin is left feeling clean after using it, my skin is left feeling soft enough though not overly moisturised or anything the only let down with this one is that the lovely fresh scent of this doesn't linger on my skin for very long after using it at all sadly.
This to me is a very gentle moisturising shower milk and an every day sort of shower product and nothing all that special but it does work out a decent buy for all the family.
Available in all good supermarkets and chemists etc.
I think I have mentioned before in reviews that my son has really sensitive skin. If I use anything that disagrees with him, then he comes out in a rash. Therefore I am super careful when choosing his washing products. I have lately found palmolive naturals shower milk which is extra sensitive. It is a really nice product and leaves my sons skin lovely and clean whilst being kind and gentle.
Palmolive shower milk is from the palmolive brand. It is packaged within a 250ml plastic bottle. The bottle is white in colour, with a light blue flip top lid. I do think that the simple cololuring of the bottle, works well with this product as it conveys the message that this shower milk is extra kind and sensitive.
On the reverse side of the packaging, there is information regarding the products ingredients. There is also a small statement regarding the sensitive and delicate formula which is used in this product. I feel that the packaging gives the impression that this is a good quality product, which has been formulated with a great deal of care and consideration.
When opening the flip top lid. I was immediatly impressed with the clean and pleasing scent that filled the air. I love the smell of this product it is so soothing and almost envelopes one into a big embracing hug. The smell reminds me of newborn babies and further enforces the message that this product is kind and gentle.
The texture of this shower milk is sublime. It is so creamy and you can certainly feel the thickness and milky richness. You only need the smallest amount in order to create a delicious foamy lather. A little really does go a long way with this product.
After using this product, my sons skin feels so soft and gentle. It leaves his body well moisturised and he smells gorgeous and so very clean. I love this product. I love it so much I have started to use this bath milk myself. I think it offers a more relaxing, luxurious bath experience. I find it leaves my skin feeling really silky.
I believe that this bath milk is around £1.50 at the moment in asda. I have bought it occasionally on offer though at a £1 a bottle. I do think this bath milk is an excellent quality product. It is certainly well worth the price. Infact I would gladly pay much more for this body milk.
I would certainly recommend this product. It is kind and gentle, whilst also offering simplistic luxurious scents and textures. It also works well in order to leave your body feeling cleansed and well nourished.
