      A refreshing shower gel

I have recently had a new shower installed, and after almost 3 weeks of crouching under a shower attachment on the taps, it is blissful to have a proper shower again. I had a new bottle of this Palmolive Lime Shower Gel to use for my first shower using the new one.

The shower gel comes in a clear green plastic 250ml bottle, which is the only size available. The lid is darker green plastic, and the label has a picture of some lime slices and the words 'Citrus Boost'.

The shower gel contains lime oils and mint extract. It smells mostly of generic citrus but I could definitely detect a zingier mint smell also; making this a lovely product for showers in the morning or summer - quite energising.

The product is a slightly runny lime green gel. I found it lathered up well and did not dry my skin out. My skin feels soft after using it. Unfortunately I don't think the scent lingers on your skin after rinsing it off, which is a shame.

I have seen online that this is 'unisex'; however there is nothing on the packaging to suggest this, and it was displayed in the supermarket along with the other Palmolive shower gels rather than the men's grooming products. But then, I suppose if you like the smell, ALL shower gels can be used by men or women, surely?! Whatever - the scent is neither overwhelmingly male nor feminine in my opinion.

This normally retails at around £1.99 which I suppose is reasonable. I personally only buy shower gels that are around £1 in order to save money, and I bought this while on offer. It it was on offer again, I would definitely buy more.
