      Disadvantages

A great every day shower creme

When it comes to buying shower gels and creams etc I'm a bit of a demon! The reason for this being that I can easily get through about two bottles of the stuff a week easy peasy! I'm a clean freak I admit to that and of late I have bought cheaper options to try cut my spending in this area down a little bit! I love shopping in Primark or 'Primarni' as I prefer to call it and quite often now I will buy something from the toiletry range to test out because on the whole I have surprisingly really liked the stuff!

      The Packaging....

Large 250ml light pink quite see through tube with clear flip top lid concealing a small hole to the bottom of it. In black bold writing I'm told on the front that it is Opia, Pink Sorbet, Shower Creme. On the back I'm told a bit about the product, directions, warnings and ingredients are listed, contact details for Primark are given and finally there is a bar-code on there. Simple packaging but it is sturdy and functional and I like the fact I can see through the tube to see when I need to replace this product.

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Tube....

Opia Pink Sorbet Shower Creme has been specially formulated to cleanse and hydrate your skin whist you shower.

      Directions for Use....

Apply to damp skin using a sponge, flannel or hand, work into a lather a rinse well.

      Using It....

Well you only need about the size of a 10p coin to wash the whole body with ease. The creme isn't too thick but certainly isn't runny or drippy either and it's simple to squeeze out of the tube. It's white in colour and glossy looking.

Smell wise well to be honest not exactly what I was expecting from something called 'Pink Sorbet'. Not only is it not pink in colour it doesn't 'smell' particularly pink either though don't get me wrong it is feminine and light but really, really gently fragranced indeed.

To me the smell is gently floral and reminds me of orchid. Not my personal favourite smell as I'm actually allergic to the flower itself lol but it is nice enough and when using it, it smells really light and airy and once used the smell doesn't linger on your skin or in the bathroom for long after using it anyway. So it doesn't really matter whether you love or hate the smell really lol.

It lathers up into big white, rich bubbles and on to touch with the skin feels so mild and gentle and really soapy. My skin feels hydrated as I use it and it's perfect to shave with (if desired) as it is soapy and rich enough.

It rinses off simply and with no fuss and leaves you feeling clean and refreshed and gives very nice natural soft feeling skin. The only let down with this being that it doesn't leave you smelling fabulous but saying that it is mild, kind and gentle to the skin.

      Overall....

A nice buy and great if you don't like highly fragranced shower and bath products. It's very mild on my sensitive skin and not once have I have had any skin irritation from it at all whilst using this. At a pound a tube (only from Primark) it offers exceptional value for money and as you don't need much of it it's lasting me longer than my usual options! A great little buy!
