Advantages: Coconut smell, creamy rich shower cream that spreads easily onto skin, leaves skin soft and hydrated
Disadvantages: None in my opinion
Whilst I have more than enough shower gels at home, my husband will often buy products that he sees on offer and so we do have drawers overflowing with products in our already crowded bathroom. One such buy was this Radox Coconut Kiss shower cream, which he purchased for himself as he loves the smell of coconut. Spotting it on the side of our bath yesterday however, and being the opportunist that I am, I did sample a couple of squirts just to see what it was like.
The shower cream is packaged in a 250ml white plastic bottle which stands on its black flip top lid, ensuring that the shower cream inside always comes easily out of the bottle. On the front of the bottle the standard green "Radox" logo is shown together with the text "Coconut Kiss Shower Cream" typed in orange and white letters. A smashed coconut illustration gives a tropical look to this shower cream and is quite a simple yet telling illustration in my opinion. The packaging of this product means that it suits both male and female users I believe, and does not fall typically into either category.
Turning the bottle over we are told in green text that this shower cream is inspired by nature and that it "contains exotic coconut and creamy milk which brings an uplifting burst of paradise to every shower". All very promising I thought but what does it smell like.
Clipping open the bottle, the liquid inside is white in colour and slightly creamy in consistency. The smell of this shower cream is truly tropical and I agree with Radox entirely, being a rich coconut in fragrance with a touch of coconut milk. This scent is entirely natural in my opinion and being that I have had my fair share of coconut milk whilst holidaying in India over the past couple of years, it does smell very true to the fruit itself.
To use this product is simply a case of lathering it onto damp skin and then rinsing off. The cream comes easily out of the nozzle when the sides of the bottle are gently squeezed and spreads easily across my skin creating a light lather that smells heavily of coconut. After rinsing this product, my skin is left feeling soft, hydrated and with a hint of coconut that I really like.
After using this shower cream last night, I really enjoyed using this product and will look out for it when I am next shopping for shower gel. Price wise, it can currently be purchased in a number of cosmetics stores including Boots, Superdrug and Wilkinson and you should expect to pay around £1 for it at the moment as part of a promotion, I expect given that it is quite a new product from Radox.
This is a lovely shower cream and one which I plan to sneakily use again tonight, and as a result it comes highly recommended and scores an excellent five stars from me.
I hope this review has been of some help and thanks for reading! x
Summary: One that I will buy again
